지리산국립공원 및 인근지역에서의 야생동물 구조 원인 분석

지리산국립공원은 국립공원 중 가장 넓은 면적을 지니고, 가장 많은 수의 생물종을 보유하고 있다. 하지만 매년 300만 명의 탐방객의 방문과 국립공원의 개발 압력은 야생동물의 생존에 큰 위험 요소가 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지리산 국립공원 및 인근 행정구역에서 2014년 부터 2020년까지 7년간의 야생동물 구조 원인 및 구조 현황을 분석하여, 야생동물의 건강을 해칠 수 있는 위험 요인을 찾아 사고 예방에 도움이 되고자 한다. 사람과 관련된 원인으로 인한 구조가 52.4%를 차지하는 만큼 국립공원공단과 지자체의 노력이 더욱 필요하다고 판단된다. Jirisan National Park is the most wide and have the most species of wildlife of Korea national parks. However, annual 3 million visitors and developments in national park are risk factors to survival of wildlifes. This study analyzes the causes and frequency of wildlife rescue for 7 years from 2014 to 2020 in Jirisan National Park and nearby administrative districts, and seeks to find the dangers of wild animals and help prevent accidents. As the rescues due to human-related causes accounts for 52.4%, it is nessasary that more efforts by the National Park Service and local governments.
Modified Unreacted Core Model for Reduction of Manganese Ore by CO Gas

Pre-reduction of manganese ore has a direct impact on energy savings for the subsequent smelting process. To this end, knowledge of the kinetics of the pre-reduction of manganese ore is useful in controlling the process parameters for the subsequent smelting process. In this study, a kinetic model that considers the effects of temperature, ore size, and CO content during the reduction process is developed. The model was performed using an unreacted core model using similarity to iron ore. This modified unreacted core model can be used to predict the change in the state of manganese ore over time, and this can predict the change in the reduction rate depending on the process temperature, CO gas change and ore size. The rate constants of the chemical reaction of manganese ore are obtained experimentally. The results of the developed prediction model show good agreement with the experimental data and the reduction degree of manganese ore is found to increase with increasing temperature and CO content in the gas.
Solvent-Assisted Gel Printing for Micropatterning Thin Organic–Inorganic Hybrid Perovskite Films

<P>While tremendous efforts have been made for developing thin perovskite films suitable for a variety of potential photoelectric applications such as solar cells, field-effect transistors, and photodetectors, only a few works focus on the micropatterning of a perovskite film which is one of the most critical issues for large area and uniform microarrays of perovskite-based devices. Here we demonstrate a simple but robust method of micropatterning a thin perovskite film with controlled crystalline structure which guarantees to preserve its intrinsic photoelectric properties. A variety of micropatterns of a perovskite film are fabricated by either microimprinting or transfer-printing a thin spin-coated precursor film in soft-gel state with a topographically prepatterned elastomeric poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) mold, followed by thermal treatment for complete conversion of the precursor film to a perovskite one. The key materials development of our solvent assisted gel printing is to prepare a thin precursor film with a high-boiling temperature solvent, dimethyl sulfoxide. The residual solvent in the precursor gel film makes the film moldable upon microprinting with a patterned PDMS mold, leading to various perovskite micropatterns in resolution of a few micrometers over a large area. Our nondestructive micropatterning process does not harm the intrinsic photoelectric properties of a perovskite film, which allows for realizing arrays of parallel-type photodetectors containing micropatterns of a perovskite film with reliable photoconduction performance. The facile transfer of a micropatterned soft-gel precursor film on other substrates including mechanically flexible plastics can further broaden its applications to flexible photoelectric systems.</P>
제왕절개 분만 후 요추 추간판 탈출증에 의한 마미 증후군

요통은 임신 중 흔하게 발생하는 증상이며 이는 임신으로 인한 신체의 호르몬 변화, 그리고 체형 및 체중의 변화가 척추 혹은 천장 관절에 미치는 기계역학적 요소와 연관되어 있다. 하지만 임신 혹은 출산과 관련된 추간판 탈출증에 대한 보고는 흔치 않다. 특히 추간판 탈출로 인한 마미 증후군은 진행성 마비이므로 신속한 진단 및 치화 요망되나, 출산 직후에 발생되는 경우 임신 및 출산 관련 현상으로 간주되어 신속한 진단과 대처가 이뤄지지 못하게 되면 심각한 후유증을 남길 수 있다. 저자들은 지역 병원 산부인과에서 제왕절개술을 받은 뒤 추간판 파열 및 마미 증후군으로 전원된 32세 여자를 후방 감압술로 치료한 경험을 하였으며, 주산기 추간판 질환에 대하여 보다 많은 관심이 필요하다고 생각되어 임신ㆍ출산과 관련된 요추의 변화에 대해 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Cauda equina syndrome develops as rapidly progressive neurologic deficit of lower extremities and urogenital system often resulting in serious outcome such as complete irreversible paraparesis. Therefore prompt diagnosis and decompression is mandatory. However, if it occurs after childbirth, it may be overlooked being regarded as symptoms related to pregnancy and delivery. We experienced a cauda equina syndrome by ruptured disc in a 32-year-old woman just after Caesarian section in a local obstetric clinic who was transferred to us 2 days after development of progressive neurologic deficits. We managed her with prompt decompressive surgery and achieved favorable result. Because of the importance of early detect and prompt decompression for cauda equina syndrome and possible occurrence at perinatal period, we report this case reviewing the literature especially concerning about pregnancy and cauda equina syndrome.
CASE REPORT : Granular Cell Tumor in the Pituitary Stalk: A Case Report

Granular cell tumors (GCTs) have been reported in various tissues, especially the skin and subcutaneous soft tissue of the head and neck. We report a 60-year-old man who presented with intermittent headache and dizziness for 3 months, but no other neurological symptoms. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) showed the presence of a mass in the pituitary stalk, and contrast-enhanced MRI showed nodular enhancement in this region. The lesion was completely excised microscopically via a frontotemporal (pterional) approach. On pathological examination, a final diagnosis of a typical GCT was made.
