<P>Bacteria and plant derived volatile organic compounds have been reported as the chemical triggers that elicit induced resistance in plants. Previously, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), including acetoin and 2,3-butanediol, were found to be emitted from plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) <I>Bacillus subtilis</I> GB03, which had been shown to elicit ISR and plant growth promotion. More recently, we reported data that stronger induced resistance could be elicited against <I>Pseudomonas syringae</I> pv maculicola ES4326 in plants exposed to C13 VOC from another PGPR <I>Paenibacillus polymyxa</I> E681 compared with that of strain GB03. Here, we assessed whether another long hydrocarbon C16 hexadecane (HD) conferred protection to <I>Arabidopsis</I> from infection of a biotrophic pathogen, <I>P. syringae</I> pv maculicola and a necrotrophic pathogen, <I>Pectobacterium carotovorum</I> subsp <I>carotovorum</I>. Collectively, long-chain VOCs can be linked to a plant resistance activator for protecting plants against both biotrophic and necrotrophic pathogens at the same time.</P>

문화와 관광이 각광받고 있는 지금, 그 소비의 주체인 관광소비자의 행동과 이들의 행동을 이끌 국가와 기업에서 실시하고 있는 다양한 마케팅 방법 중 문화관광 마케팅이 관광소비자의 행동에 미치는 영향을 사례를 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 각 관광소비자의 행동을 분석하는 것과 통합적인 데이터베이스를 구축하여 보다 거시적인 시각에서 고객행동을 분석하여 세분화된 시장으로 접근해야 함을 조언한다.

The rhizobacterium Serratia marcescens strain 90-166 was previously reported to promote plant growth and induce resistance in Arabidopsis thaliana. In this study, the influence of strain 90-166 on root development was studied in vitro. We observed inhibition of primary root elongation, enhanced lateral root emergence, and early emergence of second order lateral roots after inoculation with strain 90-166 at a certain distance from the root. Using the DR5::GUS transgenic A. thaliana plant and an auxin transport inhibitor, N-1-naphthylphthalamic acid, the altered root development was still elicited by strain 90-166, indicating that this was not a result of changes in plant auxin levels. Intriguingly, indole-3-acetic acid, a major auxin chemical, was only identified just above the detection limit in liquid culture of strain 90-166 using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Focusing on bacterial determinants of the root alterations, we found that primary root elongation was inhibited in seedlings treated with cell supernatant (secreted compounds), while lateral root formation was induced in seedlings treated with lysate supernatant (intracellular compounds). Further study revealed that the alteration of root development elicited by strain 90-166 involved the jasmonate, ethylene, and salicylic acid signaling pathways. Collectively, our results suggest that strain 90-166 can contribute to plant root development via multiple signaling pathways.

영상 감시 시스템을 위한 Nios Ⅱ 임베디드 프로세서 시스템의 Linux 디바이스 드라이버 구현

본 연구에서는 기존 CCTV 시스템의 고정되어 있는 감시지역과 카메라의 움직임을 수동으로 조작하는 단점을 보완 할 수 있는 영상 감시 시스템을 개발하기 위해 FPGA 기반 Nios Ⅱ 임베디드 프로세서 시스템과 Linux 디바이스 드라이버를 구현하였다. Altera Nios Ⅱ 프로세서 8.0부터 메모리를 안정되고 효율적으로 관리할 수 있는 MMU를 지원하고 있다. 각종 응용에 유연하고 적응성이 뛰어난 Altera Nios Ⅱ 소프트코어 프로세서 시스템을 이용하여 영상감시 관제 하드웨어를 구성하였고, Linux 기반 Nios Ⅱ 시스템의 카메라 디바이스 드라이버와 VGA 디바이스 드라이버를 구현함으로써 지능적인 영상 감시 시스템을 구현할 수 있었다.

In this paper, we describe implementation of FPGA-based Nios Ⅱ embedded processor system and linux device driver for image monitoring system which is supplement weakness for fixed surveillance area of existing CCTV system and by manual operation of the camera's moving. Altera Nios Ⅱ processor 8.0 is supported MMU which is stable and efficient managed memory. We designed the image monitoring and control system by using Altera Nios Ⅱ soft-core processor system which is flexible in various application and excellent adaptability. By implementation of camera device driver and VGA decvice driver for Linux-based Nios Ⅱ system, we implemented image serveillance system for Nios Ⅱ embedded processor system.
