Sound Quality Improvement for Multichannel Audio Watermarking

The objective this work is to reduce the perceivable noise which is caused by embedding the watermark information. In the method proposed by W.N.Lie (conventional method), the watermark information is embedded by the amplitudes modification in each section. We have proposed the multiple embedding method based on the conventional method. In this method, watermark capacity is increased but the sound quality becomes worse compared with the conventional method. So we focus attention on WSS (Weighted Spectral Slope) distance. WSS distance is one of the objective evaluations and it is close to a value evaluated subjectively. So we aim to improve the sound quality by bringing the watermarked spectral slope close to the original spectral slope.

The objective of this work is to increase the capacity of watermark information in the audio watermarking method based on low-frequency amplitude modification. We increase the capacity of watermark information by embedding multiple watermarks in individual data channels.
