Deree of incidences to white rust on chrysanthemum, effect of temperature, pH for sporidum formation by puccinia horinia and resistance of cultivars to typical disease were investigsted in the field and laboratory. 1.Degree of Incidences of white rust by puccinia horinia on chrysanthemum were progressed hightly virulence at May. 2.Sporidium formulation were developed at 5∼25℃ and pH 4.0∼8.5 after incubation. Optimum temperature and pH of formulation for sporidium were 20℃ and pH 7.0. 3.When 25 major cultivars were evaluated for their levels of resistance to damping off in the field, 7 cultivars including Weldon were showing high level of resistance and the low level of resistance were Spring Song, Arieta and Dax. The resistance cultivars to black spot were showing 7 including Westland Pink. Showing cultivars of the low level for resistance were Rose Queen and Spring Song. Resistance to brown spot were 8 cultivars including Westland Pink, and the low level for resistance were in other of Harliquine, Park Marble. Showing the resistance level for of micronutrient deficient were 13 cultivars including Westland Pink and Arieta were susceptive of the high level. Cold Resistance of flower were Harliquine and 6 the others. Cultivars, the high level of susceptible were in other of Spring Song, Rose Queen and Salmon.
친환경 과수재배를 위한 과수농가의 농약사용실태에 관한 조사 연구

This survey was conducted to investigated the actual conditions and problems of pesticide use in fruit farmhouse for sustainable fruit culture. A personal interview on 187 fruit culture farmers were conducted in Chungnam Yesan area as the central region by random sampling from May, 2000 to October, 2000. In purchasing pesticide, 47.9% of the respondents purchase it in pesticide shop and 44.2% of them in agricultural co-operative or apple co-operative. In selection of pesticide, 34.9% of them selected it through the agricultural co-operative or apple co-operative. n the methods to know it, over 29% of them knew it through the pesticide shop, agricultural co-operative or apple co-operative, respectively. In dilution ratio of pesticides, 13.9% of the respondents used more concentration than standard and 12.1% of the respondents did not observe a rule of the pre-harvest spraying of pesticides. In a spraying time of pesticides, 38.9% of the respondents did it three hours over and the rate of protection equipment against pesticide-poisoning were protect suits(56.1%), gloves(85.8%), mask(87.7%), goggles(25.7%) and boots(78.6%). For the reason of discomfort in pesticide spraying, 75.9% of the respondents did not use the protection equipment. 40.6% of the respondents had a smoke or water during pesticide spray and 90.4% of the respondents took a bath after pesticide spray. 67.4% of the respondents kept the pesticides in a barn. In the treatment of pesticide bottles and package papers after used, 49.2% of the respondents buried under ground or burn it and 34.2% of them returned it to resources-recycling center. 41.7% of the respondents had experience in pesticide intoxication and the chief complains of it were headache(31.9%), dizziness(21.2%) and vomiting(20.8%), and 51.0% of the respondents visited the hospital for the care of pesticide intoxication. 74.3% of the respondents received the safety education of pesticide usage and the place conducted it were agricultural co-operative or apple co-operative(46.8%) and rural agricultural center(37.6%). 92.0% of the respondents recognized the pesticide residual toxicity of agricultural products. In the possibility of low-input pesticide fruit culture, 44.9% of the respondents thought it possible and 58.3% of them had a mind to do it.
궐련벌레(Lasioderma serricorne F.) (Coleoptera : Anobiidae)의 발생 생태 및 생리적 특성에 미치는 온도와 광주기의 영향에 관한 연구

This study was designed to investigate population dynamics, ecological and physiological characteristics of cigarette beetle, Lasioderma serricorne F.(Coleoptera, Anobiidae), in conditions with variable temperatures and illumination times. Seasonal occurrences of the cigarette beetle adults were monitored by BLB-light trap in a warehouse from 1989 to 1996 in Suweon area. The adult activity of the cigarette beetle was detected from mid June, the second one was mid August, and the third one was mid September. A large number of cigarette beetle adults were captured in warehouses of peasants which were located Chonan, Yesan, Jonju, Jungup, Kwangju, Yungdong and Yungchun areas by sexphrromon traps. Non of them were captured by sex-pheromone traps inside of hospital of Chinese medicine and herbal dispensary shop in Seoul area from early of May to late of August. In the study on the biological properties of cigarette beetle related to temperature, at 30℃ the mortality of the larva and rates of pupation and adult emergency were high. The insect appeared to be physiologically most active partly owing to shortness of pre-pupal stages and longevity of the adult insect at this temperature. In the condition with variable room temperature and at 20℃, such biological characteristics mentioned above were low and the longevity of the insect was longer than at 30℃. Most of the insect larvae died within days at above 25℃, while at room temperature or at 20℃ the longevity was rater long, which was the same phenomenon in the adult insects. In effect of biological characteristics in different light illumination periods, there were no noticeable differences among illumination periods; In the condition of the darkness, the periods for pre-pupal, pupal and adults stages were relatively long, mortality of the larvae were high, and hatching and emergence rates were low, compared with the light illumination.
茯笭 人工栽培에 適合한 原木과 種菌 接種量 및 接種方法에 關한 硏究

This study was carried out to improve the culturing method of P. cocos, on saving labor and inoculation amount. Therefore, the result of this experiment was as the following. Proper mycelium growth and density of P. cocos was observed in MCM(mushroom complete medium). In the selection of tree species, pine and larch had better in spawn culture and sclerotia formation condition. In the experiment of pine, Yield was 33.7㎏/3.3㎡. In inoculation amount, conventional method(cross slice inoculation) required 16 ~ 20 bottles/1000cc of spawn. In contrast, short log,drilling inoculation method required 8 ~ 10 bottles/1000cc, 2 ~ 3 bottles/1000cc of spawn, which reduced by 50% and 85 ~ 90% of inoculation respectively. In conventional method, the yield of pine was 23.4㎏/3.3㎡. In the case of drilling and short log inoculation, Yield was 28.7㎏ / 3.3㎡(25㎜ / depth) and 30.1kg / 3.3㎡(35mm / depth), 31.7㎏ / 3.3㎡ respectively, Therefore, short log inoculation was increased by 25% and 35% compared with conventional method. In conclusion, management cost was also saved.

This study was carried out to improve the organic farming system about crop cultivation, compost production and application, plant diseases & pest control, weed control and marketing system of organic farming products to the case study in Chungnam Hongdong area. Agricultural technologies concerning pest & diseases control, weed control and compost production are not established due to lacks of systemized researches by the agricultural scientist, and agricultural machines profitable to this works had not developed yet. In cropping system, reasonable crop rotation had not conducted. The related cultivation of vegetables on the same ground for a long time cause a various plant disease easily. So crop rotation is a reasonable method about soil nutrient utility and soil disease control. It is a good method that introduce the barley and wheat in this field crop system. Those crop have a long root, so can use the other nutrient against the vegetable. In organic farming products, the safety and quality of products by the National Agricultural Products Inspection Center had not inspected except rice, lettus and apple. Inspection is needed for the development of organic farming and mutual confidence between producer and consumer, because the mutual confidence is a major thing to sustain the organic farming. In products marketing, it is more need for the information of organic farming products. Nowaday most products are marketed in Seoul region, but it is not a good method. To search the consumer in near region is a good method for decrease the cost of conveyance and maintain the quality of products. The varieties of distribution structure of organic farming products are required. The products are sold to department store in large city and the prices are about 30% higher than normal products. But when those are supplied in near region, the prices of those are similar to normal products. Direct transactions in near regions is a good method for decrease the cost of conveyance and strength the mutual confidence between producer and consumer.
