The names of the commodities often look like casual and unintentional, but they are an indispensable preoccupation for the successful competition between the manufacturers. In recent years, the female cosmetic commodities in China have a tendency of flourishing and have had more varieties. A closer look at the names of these cosmetics, we find that a definite group of words is b e d frequently. Although the number of these words is minute, the description and the expression of the commodities are really profound. From these words a better and elaborate understanding with appreciation of the Chinese words and Chinese culture is achived. Why is this group of words frequently used? What is the relationship between the Chinese culture and the mental requirement of the consumers? The present article gives a semantic analysis of the meanings of these words from the following four aspects. 1. The demonstration of the epoch spirit. 2. The demonstration of female awareness. 3. An inherit of the traditional culture. 4. The embodiment of national style. The purpose of the analysis is to show the profound Chinese culture.
Automatic Image Segmentation with PCNN Algorithm Based on Grayscale Correlation
Hai-Rong Ma,Xin-Wen Cheng 보안공학연구지원센터 2014 International Journal of Signal Processing, Image Vol.7 No.5
In order to use pulse coupled neural networks (PCNN) for precise automatic image segmentation, we propose an improved PCNN model. We first establish a connection weight matrix based on the image local gray correlation and on the Euclid distance. We then used the minimum variance ratio criterion to automatically determine PCNN cycle times, and achieve automatic image segmentation. The simulation results show that this method can automatically determine the number of iterations PCNN, and that it is highly feasible and better segmentation effect.

<P><B>OBJECTIVE</B></P><P>Patients with diabetic erectile dysfunction often have severe endothelial dysfunction and respond poorly to oral phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors. We examined the effectiveness of the potent angiopoietin-1 (Ang1) variant, cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP)-Ang1, in promoting cavernous endothelial regeneration and restoring erectile function in diabetic animals.</P><P><B>RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS</B></P><P>Four groups of mice were used: controls; streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic mice; STZ-induced diabetic mice treated with repeated intracavernous injections of PBS; and STZ-induced diabetic mice treated with COMP-Ang1 protein (days −3 and 0). Two and 4 weeks after treatment, we measured erectile function by electrical stimulation of the cavernous nerve. The penis was harvested for histologic examinations, Western blot analysis, and cGMP quantification. We also performed a vascular permeability test.</P><P><B>RESULTS</B></P><P>Local delivery of the COMP-Ang1 protein significantly increased cavernous endothelial proliferation, endothelial nitric oxide (NO) synthase (NOS) phosphorylation, and cGMP expression compared with that in the untreated or PBS-treated STZ-induced diabetic group. The changes in the group that received COMP-Ang1 restored erectile function up to 4 weeks after treatment. Endothelial protective effects, such as marked decreases in the expression of p47phox and inducible NOS, in the generation of superoxide anion and nitrotyrosine, and in the number of apoptotic cells in the corpus cavernosum tissue, were noted in COMP-Ang1–treated STZ-induced diabetic mice. An intracavernous injection of COMP-Ang1 completely restored endothelial cell-cell junction proteins and decreased cavernous endothelial permeability. COMP-Ang1–induced promotion of cavernous angiogenesis and erectile function was abolished by the NOS inhibitor, <I>N</I>-nitro-L-arginine methyl ester, but not by the NADPH oxidase inhibitor, apocynin.</P><P><B>CONCLUSIONS</B></P><P>These findings support the concept of cavernous endothelial regeneration by use of the recombinant Ang1 protein as a curative therapy for diabetic erectile dysfunction.</P>
Calculation of Iron Losses in Inverter-fed Induction Motors based on Time-stepping FEM
Wang, Hai-Rong,Wu, Jian-Hua Journal of International Conference on Electrical 2013 Journal of international Conference on Electrical Vol.2 No.3
This paper presents a method for calculating iron losses in three-phase induction motors under the inverter supply through the field-circuit coupled time-stepping finite element method (FEM). Iron losses are calculated by using the three-term iron losses separated model and modifying the loss coefficients obtained by the iron losses curves which are provided by the manufacturer under the sinusoidal supply. Simulation results by the presented method are verified by the measured results with an error lower than 5%, confirming the validity of the proposed method. Finally, iron losses distribution of the inverter-fed three-phase induction prototype motor is shown.

Objective: To explore the clinical efficacy and toxic and side effects of recombinant human endostatin (rhendostatin/endostar) combined with chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer. Materials and Methods: A total of 70 patients with advanced gastrointestinal adenocarcioma confirmed by histopathology and/or cytological examination were divided into group A (37 patients) and group B (33 patients). Patients in group A were given intravenous drip of 15 mg endostar added into 500 mL normal saline, once every other day until the cessation of chemotherapy or patients' maximal tolerance to chemotherapy. Patients in group B received chemotherapy alone. Two groups selected the same chemotherapy regimens. FOLFIRI scheme: 90-min intravenous drip of $180mg/m^2$ irinotecan, intravenous drip of $200mg/m^2$ calcium folinate (CF) and $400mg/m^2$ 5-fluorouracil (5-Fu) on d1, and continuous intravenous pumping of 2 $400mg/m^2$ 5-Fu for 46 h. FOLFOX4 scheme: intravenous injection of $85mg/m^2$ oxaliplatin (L-OHP), $200mg/m^2$ calcium folinate (CF) and $400mg/m^2$ 5-FU on d1 for 2 h, and then continuous intravenous pumping of 2 $400mg/m^2$ 5-Fu for 46 h. XELOX scheme: oral administration of 1 $500mg/m^2$ xeloda (or tegafur 50~60 mg) in twice during d1~14 and intravenous drip of $135mg/m^2$ L-OHP on d1 for 2 h. The modified FOLFOX scheme: intravenous injection of $135mg/m^2$ L-OHP on d1 for 2 h, $200mg/m^2$ CF and 1.0 g tegafur during d1~5. Whereas, control Group B received chemotherapy regimens which were same as Group A, but no addition of endostar. Before chemotherapy, patients were given intravenous injection of 8 mg ondansetron, intramuscular injection of 10 mg metoclopramide and 20 mg diphenhydramine for prevention of vomiting, protection of liver and stomach as well as symptomatic supportive treatment. One cycle was 21 d, 4~6 cycles in total. The efficacy was evaluated every 2 cycles. Results: 32 patients in Group A could be evaluated, and the response rate (RR) and disease control rate (DCR) were 59.38% and 78.13%, respectively. 31 patients in Groups could be evaluated, and the RR and DCR were 32.26% and 54.84%, respectively. The differences between 2 groups were significant. The toxic effects include myelosuppression, gastrointestinal reaction, fatigue, cardiotoxicity and peripheral neurotoxicity. Conclusions: Preliminary observations show that endostar (once every other day) combined with chemotherapy is effective in the treatment of advanced gastrointestinal cancer, with low toxic effects, good tolerance, deserving further study.
Characterization of Phenolic Compounds from Rhododendron alutaceum
Hai-Zhou Li,Rong-Tao Li,He-Jiao Song,Hong-Mei Li,Yu-Yin Pan 대한약학회 2012 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.35 No.11
A new phenolic glycoside, 3'-keto rhododendrin (1) and a new sesquilignan, alutaceuol (2), together with twelve known phenolic compounds, were isolated from the leaves of Rhododendron alutaceum. Their structures were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic data analysis and comparison with literature values. In addition, the detailed analysis of 2D NMR data led us to conclude that the chemical shifts of dihydrobuddlenol B (5) need to be revised.
Promoted Growth of Maize by the Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria Isolated from North-east China
Hai-Yan Wu,Li-Chun Wang,Xing-Ai Gao,Rong-De Jin,Zuo-Wei Fan,Kil-Yong Kim,Lan-Po Zhao 한국토양비료학회 2011 한국토양비료학회지 Vol.44 No.1
A strain of phosphate solubilizing bacterium was isolated from rhizosphere and identified as Burkholderia sp. by 16S-rRNA gene sequence analyses. The bacterium was found to release gluconic acid and the solubilization of hydroxyapatite in the liquid medium by a significant drop in pH to 3.7 from an initial pH 7.0. The soluble-P concentration continuously increased during the incubation periods and the total amount of soluble P released in culture filtrate was detected at 990 mg L-1 after 10 days of inoculation. Most promoted maize growth was found in the standard NPK (240-120-120 kg ha-1) soil inoculation with Burkholderia sp. (Twenty milliliters/ plant, 106 CFU) and also in the absence of Burkholderia sp. inoculation, the soil amended with only 2/3 levels of P gave significant higher plant yield compared to 1/3 levels of P or without P supplementation.
