함정혜(Chung Hae Hahm) 한국여성체육학회 2013 한국여성체육학회지 Vol.27 No.1
The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of moral reasoning among general students, sports related majors students, and student athletes in Korea and Japan University. We collected total 612 out of 700 (315 from Korea, 297 from Japan) and 88 questionnaires were excluded questionnaire due to incompleteness and unreliable data. For this study, Hahm-Bellar Values Choice Inventory-16(HBVCI-16), which is a Moral Reasoning Questionnaire on Sports Activities, was used. The collected data was analyzed by t-test, one way ANOVA and two way ANOVA with using SPSS Var. 17.0 statistical package program and result were as follow. First, the Japan student`s overall score of moral reasoning were lower compare to Korean university students. Second, there were 1 % higher score of moral reasoning in woman against man and in younger subjects. Sports majored university students presented 1% higher score against other related students and higher grade students presented 5% higher score against lower grade students. Third, among student athletes of Korea and Japan, although there were no significant differences, it was 0.1% higher among those who engaged in individual sports and 5% higher score in those who have less sports career.
A Model for Computer-Aided Process Planning System in Flexible Manufacturing Systems
Kang, Young-Sig,Hahm, Hyo-Joon,Rim, Suk-Chul,Kim, Seung-Baum The Korean Society for Quality Management 1994 품질경영학회지 Vol.22 No.1
Most of computer-aided process planning(CAPP) systems have been developed to automate the process planning function. In this paper, we describe an analytical model for a CAPP system in order to improve the performance of production system in flexible manufacturing systems(FMSs) for computer intergrated manufacturing(CIM) architecture. This paper proposes an optimal process planning that minimizes the load time by minimizing the cycle time and the number of workstations using Kang and Hahm's heuristic approach so as to improve the performance of production system under the batch production of discrete products. We also perform simulation using SIMAN language to campare the line utilization of each for various product types. The proposed algorithm can be implemented in existing FMSs for on-line control of product quantity using programmable logic controllers(PLC) and communication devices.

<P>Glycosylation is one of the most important posttranslational modifications for proteins, including therapeutic antibodies, and greatly influences protein physiochemical properties. In this study, glycopeptide mapping of a reference and biosimilar recombinant antibodies (rAbs) was performed using liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS/MS) and an automated Glycoproteome Analyzer (GPA) algorithm. The tandem mass analyses for the reference and biosimilar samples indicate that this approach proves to be highly efficient in reproducing consistent analytical results and discovering the implications of different rAb production methods on glycosylation patterns. Furthermore, the comparative analysis of a mutagenized rAb glycoprotein proved that a single amino acid mutation in the Fc portion of the antibody molecule caused increased variations in glycosylation patterns. These variations were also detected by the mass spectrometry method efficiently. This mapping method, focusing on precise glycopeptide identification and comparison for the identified glycoforms, can be useful in differentiating aberrant glycosylation in biosimilar rAb products.</P>

Although research on the leader's or speaker's voice has been continuously conducted, existing research has a single point of view. Sound analysis of voice characteristics has been studied from engineering perspectives, and leadership trait theory has been studied from a business perspective. Convergence studies on leader voice and member cognition are being attempted today. Convergence research on voice has a positive effect on refinement of voice analysis, diversification of voice use, and establishment of voice utilization strategy. This study explains the current flow of research on convergence between speaker's voice and listener's perception, and suggests a direction for the future development of voice fusion research. Furthermore, in connection with AI in the 4th industrial age, new attempts for voice research are sought. First, advances in AI focus on strategically generating the voices needed for individual situations. Second, the voice corrected in real time will support the leader and speaker to utilize the desired voice type. Third, voices through AI based on big data will affect the cognition, attitude and behavior of individual listeners who members, customers, and students in more diverse situations. The purpose and significance of this study is to suggest the way to research the leader's voice recognized by members, and to suggest a method that can be applied in various situations.
Hardening of Steel Sheets with Orthotropy Axes Rotations and Kinematic Hardening
Hahm, Ju-Hee,Kim, Kwon-Hee,Yin, Jung-Je Korean Society for Precision Engineering 2000 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol.1 No.1
Anisotropic work hardening of cold rolled low carbon steel sheets is studied. The experiments consist of two stage tensile prestraining and tensile tests. At the first prestraining, steel sheets are streteched along the rolling direction by 3% and 6% tensile strains. The second prestrains are at 0${\cric}$, 30${\cric}$, 60${\cric}$to the rolling directions by varying degrees. Tensile tests are performed on the specimens cut from the sheets after the two stage prestraining. A theoretical framework on anisotropic hardening is proposed which includes Hill's quadratic yield function, ziegler's kinematic hardening rule, and Kim and Yin's assumption on the rotation of orthotropy axes. The predicted variations of R-values with second stage tensile strain are compared with the experimental data.
Aromatic Substituent Effects on the Flexibility of Metal–Organic Frameworks
Hahm, Hyungwoo,Yoo, Kwangho,Ha, Hyeonbin,Kim, Min American Chemical Society 2016 Inorganic Chemistry Vol.55 No.15
<P>The flexibility (or breathing behavior) of zinc-based metal organic frameworks (MOFs) has been manipulated by regioisomeric and positional control of organic functionalities. Ten new regioisomeric BDC (ortho- or para-disubstituted benzene-1,4-dicarboxylic acid) ligands have been synthesized and applied to a DMOF (dabco MOF) system, which has a zinc(II) paddle-wheel SBU (secondary building unit). Among the new regioisomeric MOFs, the NH2-OMe combination showed significant flexibility (breathing behavior) changes by simply altering the functional group positions (from 2,3 to 2,5). The electronic density of the benzene ring was considered to be a major factor in the flexibility changes in the regioisomeric MOF system.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>This study aims to reveal components of built environments that influence pedestrians' walking patterns and potential consumption in a retail district. We conducted a Global Positioning System (GPS) experiment observing 82 pedestrians' choices of walking routes in Hongdae, a campus-oriented retail district near Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea, and assessed their causal relationships with built environments using a structural equation model (SEM). We revealed that all four categories of built environments studied—accessibility, diversity, design, and density—affected pedestrians’ choices of walking route, controlling for retail attributes. Specifically, pedestrians prefer shaded streets and openness, confirming the importance of design quality in pedestrian retail environments. Contrary to conventional wisdom, however, shorter distances from public transportation would not guarantee more pedestrian traffic in specialized shopping areas such as Hongdae, unlike what we have observed in residential neighborhoods. Additionally, pedestrians prefer streets with concentrations of similar types and high-density retails, affirming the agglomeration economies theory.</P>

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P><B>Introduction</B></P> <P>The effect of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) for functional management in patients with dementia has not been reported yet. Thus, the aim of present study was to investigate the effect of TENS on pain, muscle strength, balance, and gait ability in patients with dementia who have difficulty exercising independently.</P> <P><B>Methods</B></P> <P>Thirty-two subjects with dementia were randomly allocated into either a TENS group (n = 16) or a placebo-TENS group (n = 16). TENS (4 Hz), above motor threshold intensity, was applied to both calf muscles for 20 min, 2 times per day. Placebo-TENS was applied for 30 s and then ramped down to zero for 15 s at the same location. The intervention was performed 5 days per week for 2 weeks. Pain was quantified with pain pressure threshold (PPT). Strength of the calf muscles was assessed using a hand-held dynamometer. To assess balance and gait, functional reach test (FRT), 10-m walk test (10MWT), and timed-up and go test (TUG) were used.</P> <P><B>Results</B></P> <P>There were significant differences in PPT (p = 0.001) after TENS application, and the PPT was significantly increased in TENS group compared with placebo-TENS group (p = 0.0495). TENS group showed significant improvements of plantarflexor strength (p = 0.008). Balance and gait were also significantly affected in TENS group, as assessed by 10MWT (p = 0.018) and TUG (p = 0.007). The placebo-TENS group did not show significant improvements for any outcome measures.</P> <P><B>Conclusions</B></P> <P>These results suggest that TENS application can be used for functional maintenance of patients with dementia. Further research is needed to underpin these preliminary results.</P>
