<P>Modern flexible consumer electronics efficient energy storage devices with flexible free-standing electrodes. We report a simple and cost-effective route to a graphene-based composite aerogel encapsulating metal oxide nanoparticles for high energy density, free-standing, binder-free flexible pseudocapacitive electrodes. Hydrothermally synthesized Co3O4 nanoparticles are successfully housed inside the microporous graphene aerogel network during the room temperature interfacial gelation at the Zn surface. The resultant three-dimensional (3D) rGO-Co3O4 composite aerogel shows mesoporous quasiparallel layer stack morphology with a high loading of Co3O4, which offers numerous channels for ion transport and a 3D interconnected network for high electrical-conductivity. All solid state asymmetric pseudocapacitors employing the composite aerogel electrodes have demonstrated high areal energy density of 35.92 mu Wh/cm(2) and power density of 17.79 mW/cm(2) accompanied by excellent cycle life.</P>

Malnutrition is a global phenomenon in general and India is no exception. Present study was conducted to determine the prevalence of undernutrition among the Santal children of Ajodhya Gram Panchayat of Purulia district of West Bengal, India. Here, quality of life of the households of the studied research participants is also investigated to understand the role of quality of life in the prevalence of undernutrition. A total number of 307 children aged in between 5–10 years were evaluated using the standard anthropometric techniques, such as height-forage, weight-for-age and body mass index for-age to determine the prevalence of stunting, wasting and underweight conditions of the Santal tribal children. The nutritional status index of children and the quality of life index of those children’s households have also been calculated to perceive the relation between these two indices. A cluster analysis has also been performed to see the similarity in terms of nutritional level among the children across the mouzas of Ajodhya Gram Panchayat. The prevalence of stunting, wasting and underweight among the children is found to be 27.69%, 36.81% and 44.63% respectively. The overall prevalence of undernutrition is recorded 58.31%. The nutritional status index is calculated to be 0.488 (moderate) for children, while the quality of life index for households is computed as 0.199 (very poor). The study reveals the occurrence of undernutrition among children is closely associated with poor quality of life of households of Ajodhya. The chi-square tests indicate that no statistically significant variation (p\0.05) in the prevalence of undernutrition in between male and female children, and among the different age groups is observed.

In this paper, we propose a multi-Criteria decision making approach to address the problem of finding the best possible solution in credit unions. Sensitivity analysis on the priority structure of the goals has been performed to obtain all possible solutions. The study uses the Euclidean distance method to measure distances of all possible solutions from the identified ideal solution. The possible optimum solution is determined from the minimum distance between the ideal solution and other possible solutions of the Problem.

This paper presents a goal-programming (GP) model for management decision-making for sugarcane fertilizer mix problems. Sensitivity analysis on the priority structure of the goals has been performed to obtain all possible solutions. The study uses Euclidean distance function to measure distances of all possible solutions from the ideal solution. The optimum solution is determined from the minimum distance between the ideal solution and other possible solutions of the problem. The optimum solution corresponds to the appropriate priority structure of the problem in the decision-making context. furthermore, the results obtained from sensitivity analysis on the cost of combination of fertilizers confirm the priority structure.

HCl doped polyaniline (PANI) and Ru (III) doped polyaniline (Ru/PANI) have been successfully prepared by in situ oxidative polymerization method and the effect of transition metal incorporation in PANI backbone is investigated thoroughly by the execution of Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Raman study. Moreover, to examine the change in surface and bulk morphology of the composites, the field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) have also been carried out, which revealed the agglomerated state of PANI after being Ru doped. The confirmation of the presence of Ru in the composite is achieved by the energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Also, the electrochemical characterizations namely, cyclic voltammetry (CV), ac impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic charge–discharge (CCD), of the composite was performed by conventional three-electrode system using 1 M H2SO4 electrolyte. On doping with Ru, an increment of specific capacitance of PANI from 160 F/g to 425 F/g has been achieved with a considerable increase in cycle stability.
