        Preventative effects of Lactobacillus plantarum YS-3 on oxazolone-induced BALB/c colitis in mice

        In this study, the preventative effects of Lactobacillus plantarum YS-3 (LP-YS3) on colitis were studied using an in vitro animal experiment. Oxazolone was administered to BALB/c mice to induce colitis, and the preventive effects of LP-YS3 were determined using serum- and tissue-related indexes. The mice treated with LP-YS3 showed a significant decrease (p<0.05) in disease activity index for colitis by inhibiting colon shortening and increasing colon weight/length ratio. The application of LP-YS3 resulted in a significant reduction in myeloperoxidase, nitric oxide, and malondialdehyde activities and a decrease in glutathione activity (p<0.05) in mouse colon tissues. LP-YS3 also significantly increased serum interleukin-2 and reduced interleukin-10 cytokines levels in mice (p<0.05). Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction and western blot assays showed that LP-YS3 application resulted in a significant increase in neuronal nitric oxide synthase, endothelial nitric oxide synthase, c-Kit, and stem cell factor expressions and a decrease in inducible nitric oxide synthase, interleukin-8, and C-X-C motif chemokine receptor 2 expressions in mouse colonic tissues (p<0.05). These findings indicate that LP-YS3 imparts preventative effects on oxazolone-induced colitis in mice.

In addition, its overall design is illustrated and the economic benefits this platform brought for port supply chain management is analyzed.

        MTA1 Overexpression Induces Cisplatin Resistance Innasopharyngeal Carcinoma by Promoting Cancer Stem Cells Properties

        Themetastasis-associated gene 1 (MTA1) oncogene hasbeen suggested to be involved in the regulation of cancer progression. However, there is still no direct evidence that MTA1 regulates cisplatin (CDDP) resistance, as well as cancer stem cell properties. In this study, we found that MTA1 was enriched in CNE1/CDDP cells. Knock down of MTA1 in CNE1/CDDP cells reversed CSCs properties and CDDP resistance. However, ectopic expression of MTA1 in CNE1 cells induced CSCs phenotypes and CDDP insensitivity. Interestingly, ectopic overexpression of MTA1-induced CSCs properties and CDDP resistance were reversed in CNE1 cells after inhibition of PI3K/Akt by LY294002. In addition, MTA1 expression and Akt activity in CNE1/CDDP cells was much higher than that in CNE1 cells. These results suggested that MTA1 may play a critical role in promoting CDDP resistance in NPC cells by regulatingcancer stem cell properties via thePI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Our findings suggested that MTA1 may be a potential target for overcoming CDDP resistance in NPC therapy.

        Nonlinear tribo-dynamic model of helicopter mid-reducer system under light loss of lubrication

        When the helicopter tail transmission system loses oil due to damage, the system needs to persist for 30 minutes. Therefore, the nonlinear tribo-dynamics model of the helicopter intermediate reducer (HIR) is established, which is coupled with the loss of oil lubrication. To simulate condition of the HIR system under the loss of lubrication (LOL), this study begins by establishing a complete HIR system CFD model, and analyse the lubrication of the gear tooth surface and the oil churning/windage under different lubrication conditions. Then, a coupled model based on the result of the CFD is proposed to calculate the coefficient of friction (COF) under the condition of light loss of lubrication (LLOL). The results show that COF gradually decreases first and then increases rapidly.

        Parameter design method for the heat transfer performance of a fan-driven gearbox under planetary gear opening and oil-return conditions

        On the basis of the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, this study calculates the surface convective heat transfer coefficients of the sun gear, planetary gear, ring gear, and bearing before and after the opening of the planetary gear of a fan-driven gearbox. A numerical fitting method is used to establish the calculation model of the convective heat transfer coefficients of the sun gear, planetary gear, ring gear, and bearing under the open-hole oilreturn condition. The convective heat transfer coefficients of each element are compared before and after the hole is bored, and the design method for the gearbox parameters with the objective of heat transfer performance is proposed. Result shows that the convective heat transfer coefficients of each element are increased after oil is returned from the hole of the planetary gear, and the change rate of the convective heat transfer coefficient of the raceway in the planetary gear bearing is the highest. When the aperture of the planetary gear is 7 mm and the number of holes is four, the heat transfer performance of the gearbox is the best. The maximum error between the convection heat transfer coefficient fitting formula value and the CFD simulation calculation result is 1.0558 %.

        E-WOM’s Influence on the Consumer’s Behavior at different levels of perceived risk in Online Education Service Industry

        Online education service industry has been developing quickly in Korea and China, and the outbreak of the COVID-19 epidemic has made the market scale even larger. Since the result of online education usually takes long time to show, consumers might consider online education service as high-risk taking in terms of time waste. Under this circumstance, e-WOM has became an important way to help the consumers alleviate uncertainty and make purchasing decision more easily and quickly. In China almost all the online education companies consider e-WOM as an important marketing tool. This research aims to study the underlying factors that influence the e-WOM information adoption processing and consumers’ purchasing intention in online education information service industry, especially on how the perceived risk moderates the information adoption process. For this purpose, a dual-route structure are established based on Elaboration likelihood model (ELM), Information Adoption Model (IAM), and Trust Transfer Theory. The new model was validated through structural equation modeling (SEM) based on surveys of 460 questionnaires which were sent to consumers in China with the experience of purchasing online education services. E-WOM usefulness (by the influence of quality of e-WOM and informative CSII; Consumers Susceptibility to Interpersonal Influence) and e-WOM emotional trust (by the influence of credibility of e-WOM information, normative CSII, and subject knowledge) are both proved to have a positive influence on e-WOM information adoption. Perceived risk is proved to play a moderating role in the process. In addition, academic and managerial implications are discussed.

      • Noise Reduction-Oriented Flight Aircraft Type

        With the rapid development of civil aviation and raising public awareness of environmental issues, it is extremely crucial to reduce airport noise impact in the vicinity of airports. Reduction of noise at source and operation restrictions are two prominent noise abatement approaches, both of which reduce aircraft noise impact by selecting appropriate aircraft types for flights. However, reduction of noise at source requires high cost while operation restrictions would restrict the ability of full operation of the airport. To tackle with the above issue, the paper studies the problem of aircraft type selection for noise reduction, the target of which is to select aircraft type with the lowest noise from a variety of candidate types. To this end, the paper employs weighted equivalent continuous perceived noise level to measure the noise level, and then utilizes Integrated Noise Model (INM) to calculate noise impact area at the interval of noise level. Experimental results on Beijing International Airport noise monitoring dataset show that the proposed algorithm can indeed obtain the aircraft type with minimal aircraft noise impact.

        Oil film deposition characteristics and judgment of lubrication effect of splash lubricated gears

        To study the oil film deposition characteristics of splash lubricated gears and determine whether their meshing area is completely lubricated, this study proposes the concept of judging the splash lubrication-deposition characteristics-inlet oil film thickness-lubrication effect. The critical oil film thickness that characterizes the full lubrication of the gear meshing area was obtained as 14.5428 μm by using elastohydrodynamic lubrication (EHL) theory. Based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD) method, based on the renormalization group (RNG) k-ɛ two-equation turbulence model, dynamic mesh model and volume of fluid (VOF) model, the numerical calculation of the intermediate gearbox in splash lubrication is carried out. The oil film deposition thickness of the gear tooth that was about to enter the meshing area was calculated to be 95.6207 μm. It was found that the meshing area is fully lubricated under the rated operating conditions.

      • DYNAMIC DESIGN METHODS OF ROCK ENGINEERING

        The key features of an intelligent and dynamic design methodology for rock engineering projects has been introduced and summarized firstly, which include some new functions such as intelligent recognition of mechanical rockmass parameters, strategies to select modeling methods and codes, integrated feedback modeling and information, and technical auditing in rock engineering design process. Then typical examples of applications of the dynamic design methodology in some large slopes, underground powerhouses in China are summarized. The discussions are given for the future of the methodology.
