        Reliability analysis for fatigue damage of railway welded bogies using Bayesian update based inspection

        From the viewpoint of engineering applications, the prediction of the failure of bogies plays an important role in preventing the occurrence of fatigue. Fatigue is a complex phenomenon affected by many uncertainties (such as load, environment, geometrical and material properties, and so on). The key to predict fatigue damage accurately is how to quantify these uncertainties. A Bayesian model is used to account for the uncertainty of various sources when predicting fatigue damage of structural components. In spite of improvements in the design of fatigue-sensitive structures, periodic non-destructive inspections are required for components. With the help of modern nondestructive inspection techniques, the fatigue flaws can be detected for bogie structures, and fatigue reliability can be updated by using Bayesian theorem with inspection data. A practical fatigue analysis of welded bogies is utilized to testify the effectiveness of the proposed methods.

        1인 미디어 인터넷 방송 시청과 준사회적 상호작용에 관한 연구 -준사회적 상호작용, 콘텐츠몰입, 시청자 성별 간의 상호작용 효과를 중심으로-

        본 연구는 중국에서 가장 대표적인 동영상 플랫폼 중 하나인 비리비리(Bilibili)를 연구대상으로 선정하여, 시청자가 1인 미디어 방송을 시청할 때 준사회적 상호작용, 콘텐츠몰입 그리고 성별 간의 상호작용이 시청 만족도, 공유 의도, 후원의사에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 비리비리 1인 미디어 방송을 시청하는 중국인을 대상으로 2021년 1월 10일부터 20일까지 11일간 실시간으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 총 323부를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석결과 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단, 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단, 그리고 여성 집단에서 시청만족도가 더 높게 나타났다. 상호작용면에서 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 낮고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 시청만족도가 더 높게 나타났다. 콘텐츠몰입, 준사회적 상호작용, 그리고 성별이 종속변인인 시청만족도에 대한 태도에 있어서 3원 상호작용을 보였다. 남성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 낮을 때 시청만족도가 더 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 반대로, 여성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높을 때 시청만족도가 더 좋은 결과가 나왔다는 것을 알 수 있다. 두 번째, 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단과 준사회적 상호작용 높은 집단에서 공유의도가 더 높게 나타났다. 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 공유의도가 더 높은 것으로 알 수 있다. 3차원 상호작용에서 남성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 낮을 때 공유의도가 더 높게 지각하는 것으로 나타났다. 여성 집단에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높을 때 공유의도도 더 좋은 결과가 나왔다는 것을 알 수 있다. 세 번째, 콘텐츠몰입 정도가 높은 집단, 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 후원의사가 더 높게 나타났다. 2차원 상호작용에서 콘텐츠몰입이 높고 준사회적 상호작용이 높은 집단에서 후원의사의 적극성이 더 높게 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 1인 미디어 인터넷 방송의 콘텐츠몰입, 준사회적 상호작용, 시청자 성별 및 시청자 반응에 대한 이론적, 실무적 함의와 시사점을 제공할 것이다. This study selected Bilibili, one of China's most representative video platforms, as the subject of the study, to analyze the effects of quasi-social interactions, content immersion, and gender interactions on viewer satisfaction, sharing intentions, and commitment when watching single-person media broadcasts. To this end, a real-time survey was conducted for 11 days from January 10 to 20, 2021 on Chinese people who watched one-person media broadcasting corruption, and a total of 323 copies were used for analysis. According to the analysis, viewing satisfaction was higher in groups with high content flow, groups with high parasocial interaction, and women's groups. In terms of interaction, viewing satisfaction was higher in groups with low content flow and high parasocial interaction interaction. It showed three-way interaction in terms content flow, parasocial interaction, and attitudes toward viewing satisfaction, where gender is a dependent variable. It has been shown that when male groups have high content flow and low parasocial interactions, viewer satisfaction is perceived to be higher. On the contrary, it can be seen that viewer satisfaction was better when content flow was high and parasocial interaction was high in female groups. Second, the intention of sharing was higher in groups with high content flow and in groups with high parasocial interaction. It can be seen that the sharing intention is higher in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interaction. In the three-way interaction, it has been shown that the intention of sharing is higher when content flow is high and parasocial interaction is low in male groups. It can be seen that the intention of sharing was also better when content flow was high and parasocial interaction was high in women's groups. Third, in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interactions, Tufe doctors showed higher levels of intent. In the two-way interaction, Tufe's activism was higher in groups with high content flow and high parasocial interaction. Based on these results, we will provide theoretical and practical implications and implications for content flow, parasocial interaction, viewer gender and viewer response in one-person media Internet broadcasting.

        Optimization of the microemulsion formulation of curcuma oil and evaluation of its acaricidal efficacy against Tetranychus cinnabarinus (Boisduval) (Acari: Tetranychidae)

        The microemulsion formulation (hereafter formulation) of curcuma oil and its acaricidal efficacy against Tetranychus cinnabarinus Boisduval (Acari: Tetranychidae) were optimized in the laboratory to evaluate their spray effectiveness of oviposition inhibition and repellence. Ethovision XT6 was used to analyse the effects of the sublethal concentrations (LC 20 ) of curcuma oil and the formulation on the behaviors of T. cinnabarinus. The results showed that Tween-80 was the best surfactant, Isopropanol was the best co-surfactant and K m = 2:1 was the best condition for the formulation. The prepared microemulsions are stable under conditions of centrifugation and incubation for extended periods. The results showed that the effect of the spray bioassays of the formulation against T. cinnabarinus continuously increased during the experiment, but for curcuma oil almost no longer increase observed when the exposure time went beyond 24 h. Moreover, compared with curcuma oil (LC 50 = 0.716%), the spray bioassay of the formulation (LC 50 = 0.035%) was stronger against T. cinnabarinus. The repellency of the formulation to T. cinnabarinus was stronger with increasing exposure time, but that of curcuma oil declined after 12 h of exposure. The mobile distance of T. cinnabarinus treated with the formulation continuously declined during the experiment but that due to the curcuma oil almost no longer declined when the treatment time reached 12 h. The maximum mobile frequency of T. cinnabarinus treated by curcuma oil and the formulation was recorded at 6 h and 12 h, respectively. Thus, the formulation is a promising candidate as a botanical acaricide of green vegetables.

        중국 1인 코믹 방송에 대한 시청자의 시청동기가 시청만족도 및 지속시청의도에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 1인 코믹 방송에 대한 중국 시청자의 시청동기가 무엇이며, 시청동기가 시청만족도와 지속시청의도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고자 중국 시청자를 대상으로 총103부를 배포하고 수집한 총94명의 표본을 분석에 사용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 중국 시청자의 시청동기는 오락추구 요인과 지루함 해소 요인으로 나뉜다. 둘째, 오락추구요인에 대한 시청동기는 정(+)의 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났으나, 지루함 해소 시청동기는 시청만족도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 오락추구요인에 대한 지속시청의도는 정(+)의 영향력을 갖는 것으로 나타났으나 지루함 해소 시청의도는 지속시청만족도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구 결과로 볼 때 1인 코믹 방송을 시청하는 중국 시청자는 긴장, 스트레스 해소와 즐거움, 휴식, 외로움 그리고 재미와 같은 오락적 요인 때문에 1인 코믹 방송을 시청하는 것으로 단순히 지루함을 해소하는 이유로만 시청하지 않는 것으로 판단된다. 본 연구 결과가 1인 코믹 방송을 제작하고자 하는 BJ 또는 자체 콘텐츠 제작자들이 추후 1인 코믹 방송을 제작하고자 할 때 시청자의 시청태도를 이해하는데 기초 자료가 되었으면 한다. The purpose of this study was to analyze what the Chinese viewers` watching motivation of the one-man comic broadcasting is and which influence the watching motivation has upon the watching satisfaction and the viewing continuity intention. Totally 103 copies were widely distributed to Chinese viewers as subjects. The collected samples of totally 94 people were used in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, Chinese viewers` watching motivation is divided into an entertainment-seek factor and a boredom-solution factor. Second, the watching motivation on the entertainment-seek factor was indicated to have positive(+) effect. But the watching motivation of solving boredom was shown to have no impact on the watching satisfaction. Third, the viewing continuity intention on the entertainment-seek factor was indicated to have positive(+) influence. But the viewing intention of solving boredom was shown to have no influence upon the viewing continuity intention. In light of these findings, the Chinese viewers of the one-man comic broadcasting are watching the one-man comic broadcasting because of the entertainment-based factors like joy, relaxation, loneliness and fun along with relieving tension and stress, thereby being judged that it is not what they are watching only for a reason of simply solving boredom. This research result is desired to likely become basic data in understanding viewers` watching attitude when BJ or own contents producers of aiming to make the one-man comic broadcasting intend to produce one-man comic broadcasting later.

        Overexpression of ICE1, a Regulator of Cold-Induced Transcriptome, Confers Cold Tolerance to Transgenic Zoysia japonica

        Numerous genes are known to regulate the coldresponse in plants. The ICE1 gene is a regulator of coldinducedtranscriptome playing an important role in coldtolerance in Arabidopsis thaliana. Here, the Arabidopsis ICE1gene was cloned and transformed into A. thaliana and Koreanlawn grass (Zoysia japonica) respectively, under the control of amaize ubiquitin promoter. The transgenic Arabidopsis plantsshowed higher survival rate, less MDA content, and higherlevels of proline, SOD, and POD after freezing treatment. In thecase of Z. japonica, 43 transgenic plants were produced byAgrobacterium-mediated transformation. Southern blot analysisshowed that 9 transgenic lines selected by phosphinothricin(PPT) were transformed with ICE1 independently. Coldtreatment significantly induced the transcripts abundant inthe up-regulated ZjCBF and ZjDREB1 in transgenic linesOE-18 and OE-19. Meanwhile, transgenic plants showedincreased proline level but decreased MDA content and withhigher activities of SOD and POD compared with wild typeunder cold stress. These results suggest that overexpressionof the ICE1 gene could improve the antioxidative capacity inconferring cold tolerance to the transgenic zoysiagrassplants.

        1인 미디어 인터넷 방송 사회적 시청이 시청자 반응에 미치는 영향 -탄막(弹幕) 사용정도 조절효과를 중심으로-

        최근 스마트폰 등 여러 디지털 매체 기반의 1인 미디어 인터넷 방송의 영향력이 점차 증대되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 중국 최대 규모의 탄막(Bullet Screen, 弹幕) 동영상 플랫폼인 비리비리(Bilibili)를 중심으로 1인 미디어 인터넷 방송 사회적 시청이 시청자 반응에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였으며, 또한, 1인 미디어 인터넷 방송 사회적 시청이 시청자 반응에 미치는 영향에서 탄막 사용정도가 조절역할을 하는지에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 비리비리 1인 미디어 방송을 시청하는 중국인을 대상으로 2021년 1월 10일부터 20일까지 11일간 실시간으로 설문 조사를 실시하였으며, 총 323부를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 첫째, 사회적 시청(의사사회적 상호작용, 사회적 실재감)은 콘텐츠 몰입, 시청만족도, 공유의도에 정적인 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 사회적 시청 요인 중 의사사회적 상호작용과 콘텐츠 몰입, 시청만족도, 공유의도 간의 관계에서 탄막 사용정도는 조절효과가 있으며, 사회적 실재감에서 콘텐츠 몰입과의 관계에서 탄막 사용정도는 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 1인 미디어인터넷 방송을 중심으로 본 연구는 사회적 시청, 시청자 반응 및 탄막 사용에 관한 이론적, 실무적 함의와 시사점을 제공할 것이다. One-person media Internet broadcast based on diverse digital media such as smart phone is gradually increasing these days. Thus, this study intends to analyze influence that social viewing of one-person media Internet broadcast mainly based on Bilibili, the largest-scaled bullet screen video platform in China has on viewer's reaction. Further, it aims to investigate whether the degree in using bullet screen plays the role of control in relation to the influence that social viewing of one-person media Internet broadcast has on viewer's reaction. To this end, real-time question survey was carried on for 11 days from January 10 to 20, 2021 to Chinese who viewed Bilibili one-person media. Then, 323 copies were used for analysis. The outcome of study is as follows. First, social viewing(parasocial interaction, social presence) statically affected content flow, satisfaction in viewing, intent to share. Second, out of social viewing factors, the degree of using bullet screen has moderating effects in the relation between parasocial interaction and content flow, satisfaction in viewing, intent to share. Further, it is found to have moderating effects in the relation between social presence and content flow. Mainly on the basis of one-person media Internet broadcast, this study will provide theoretic & practical implication & suggestion point on social viewing, viewers’ reaction & using bullet screen.

        중국 방송 채널 브랜드 개성이 시청자의 채널 인식에 미치는 영향 - 후난위성TV(Hunan Television) 채널을 중심으로 -

        현재 166개의 TV 방송국과 3250개의 채널을 운영하고 있는 중국은 시청자를 확보하기 위해 치열한 경쟁을 하고 있다. 이런 중국 방송 채널 경쟁시대에 자사의 방송 프로그램 시청을 유도하기 위해서 방송 채널의 특성을 부각시킨 차별화된 채널 개성을 구축을 통한 채널 브랜드 강화가 중요하다. 이에 본 연구는 Aaker. J(1997)가 개발한 브랜드 개성 척도를 사용하여 후난위성TV 브랜드 개성이 무엇이며, 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드 개성이 브랜드 인지도, 브랜드 선호도, 채널 신뢰도, 채널 충성도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 중국 실험자 307명의 설문 결과를 분석에 사용하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드개성 요인은 “생동적”, “세련된”, “전문적”으로 나타났다. 둘째, 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드 개성 중 “생동적”, “전문적”은 채널 인지도에 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 주었다. 셋째, 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드 개성 중 “전문적”은 채널 선호도에 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 주었다. 넷째, 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드 개성 중 “생동적”, “세련된”은 채널 신뢰도에 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 주었다. 다섯째, 후난위성의 채널 신뢰도는 채널 충성도에 정(+)의 방향으로 유의한 영향을 주었다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드개성 중 “생동적”은 채널 인지도, 채널 선호도, 채널 신뢰도 모두에 영향을 미치며, 다음으로 “전문적”은 채널 인지도와 채널 선호도에 영향을 미치는 중요한 요인으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 중국 후난위성TV 채널의 채널 인지도, 채널 선호도, 채널 신뢰도, 채널 충성도를 높이기 위해 어떤 후난위성TV 채널 브랜드 개성을 강화해야 하는지를 분석함에 연구의 의미가 있다. In China where 166 TV broadcast stations operate 3250 channels, they are vehemently competing to get viewers. In this age of competition among China broadcast channels, it is essential to enhance channel brand by building distinct channel personality which highlights the property of broadcast channel in order to induce viewers to watch the broadcast program of our company. Thus, this study analyzed what the Hunan TV brand personality is and what influence Hunan TV channel brand personality has on brand perception, brand preference, channel reliability, channel loyalty by using brand personality scale developed by Aaker. J (1997). To this end, the result of question distributed to 307 Chinese testees was used for analysis. First, the analysis showed that the brand personality factors of Hunan TV channel are “lively”, “refined”, “specialized”. Second, among the brand personality of Hunan TV channel, “lively” & “specialized” had significant influence on channel perception to the positive(+) direction. Third, among brand personality of Hunan TV channel, specialized” had significant influence on channel preference to the positive(+) direction. Fourth, among brand personality of Hunan TV channel, “lively”, “refined” had significant influence on channel reliability to the positive(+) direction. Fifth, channel reliability of Hunan had significant influence on channel loyalty to the positive(+) direction. Given such result, among brand personality of Hunan TV channel, “lively” had influence on channel perception, channel preference, channel reliability. Next, “specialized” was found to be significant factor which had influence on channel perception and channel preference. This study is meaningful in that it analyzed which brand personality of Hunan TV channel should be enhanced to improve channel perception, channel preference, channel reliability, channel loyalty of Hunan TV channel in China.

      • Adsorption of Villin Headpiece onto Graphene, Carbon Nanotube, and C60: Effect of Contacting Surface Curvatures on Binding Affinity

        <P>The adsorption of protein villin headpiece (HP35) onto a graphene has been investigated using large scale molecular dynamics simulations, and the results are compared with similar adsorptions onto a single-wall carbon nanotube and a fullerene, C60. It is found that HP35 loses most of its native secondary and tertiary structures after the adsorption onto graphene. The π–π stacking interactions between the graphene and HP35’s aromatic residues play a key role in this adsorption. The graphene’s softness also helps the binding by adapting its own shape to fit better with aromatic residues in forming stronger π–π stacking interactions. Interestingly, the mechanism of HP35 adsorption onto the other two graphitic nanomaterials is found to be somewhat different, in which the π–π stacking interactions play a lesser role than the dispersion interactions between the nanomaterial and HP35’s aliphatic side chains. These findings indicate that in addition to the chemical composition, the shape of the nanoparticle is also an important factor in determining its interaction with proteins: the contacting surface curvature can lead to different adsorption mechanisms.</P><P><B>Graphic Abstract</B> <IMG SRC='http://pubs.acs.org/appl/literatum/publisher/achs/journals/content/jpccck/2011/jpccck.2011.115.issue-47/jp208967t/production/images/medium/jp-2011-08967t_0004.gif'></P><P><A href='http://pubs.acs.org/doi/suppl/10.1021/jp208967t'>ACS Electronic Supporting Info</A></P>
