        Dislocation is one of the serious complications in total hip replacement arthroplasties. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the risk factors of dislocation, including age, sex, preoperative diagnosis and bilaterality, history of previous hip surgery, positioning of component, soft tissue tension, treatment after dislocation or redislocation. Authors reviewed 190 patients of total hip replacement arthroplasty, which were performed from Jan. 1990 to Dec. 1996. 15 cases developed dislocation after surgery. Incidence of dislocation was 7.89%(15 of 190 cases). Dislocation after revision was not happened(0 of 18 cases). Inclination of acetabular cup was average 37.5° (range: 31° - 43° ). Average anteversion of the acetabular component was 18.1" by Woo and Morrey method, 11.4° by Hassan method. They were normal range except 3 cases. Dislocation was not prevented even though inclination and anteversion of acetabular cup were within normal range. Soft tissue tension is determined by change of limb and femoral neck length. Average limb length difference was -0.2mm(range; -l0mm - +10mm) and average offset difference was +1.7mm(range;-4mm - +18mm). Revision must be accomplished as soon as possible when limb shortening happen by upward migration of the acetabular component. In conclusion, anteversion of acetabular cup may be most important factor in our cases, so cup position must be fixed in proper position during operation.

        Transforming Qualitative Environmental Evaluation into Quantitative Information - A Case of Landscape in Asan and Incheon

        본 논문의 목적은 경관을 구성하는 대상들에 대한 갖는 인상을 계량적으로 평가하여 분류하여 분류하고 각 등급별 특징을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 인천시의 특징이 있는 경관과 아산시의 전통적인 지역을 연구대상지로 선정하고, 한·일 양국의 학생들의 인상 평가 결과를 수집하여 분석하여 경관을 구성하는 대상 분류를 위한 계량화를 실시하였다. 이를 위해 평가 과정에서는 SD법(의미미분법)을 실시하였다. 이를 통해 얻어진 정성적 평가 데이터에 수량화이론 및 클러스터 분석 방법을 적용하여 각 대상들을 분류하는 동시에 인상평가 등급을 설정하는 정량화를 실시하였다. 여기서 샘플의 분류방법과 샘플의 인상평가 등급을 구하는 방법은 완전히 다른 과정이다. 따라서 우리는 이 서로 다른 두 가지 방법으로 산출된 결과를 비교함으로써 본 인상평가의 타당성을 검토하여 평가방법의 유효성을 제시한다. 이러한 분석과 평가의 결과로서, 한국의 학생과 일본의 학생의 인상평가 결과를 분석하여 상당수 샘플에 대한 인상 차이점을 파악할 수 있었다. The purpose of this paper is to quantify and classify the impression of the objects constituting the landscape, and to present the characteristics of each class. For this purpose, we selected the scenery of Incheon city and the traditional area of Asan sity as study sites. We collected data about impression evaluation of Korean students and Japanese students. Applying the quantification theory and cluster analysis method to these qualitative data obtained by the previous procedure, we perform a process of quantifying by sample classification and level decision of this impression evaluation. We should recognize that the process of sample classification and the process of determining impression level are totally different. We, therefore, prove appropriateness of this evaluation method and its usefulness by comparing two results from these totally different procedures. As one of our final results of these analysis and evaluation, we confirm that responses of Japanese students about various traditional samples are far different from that of Korean ones.

        An Empirical Study on the Leadership of Field Commanders through the Recognition Survey of Fire and Rescue Officers

        본 연구는 현장지휘관의 변혁적 리더십이 소방구조대원에게 미치는 영향에 대하여 리더십의 특성을 영향력, 개별적 배려, 동기부여로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 이를 위하여 전국 소방구조대원 4천 6백 여명을 대상으로 인식조사를 실시하였다. 인식조사 분석결과 개별적 배려 리더십이 소방구조대원에 게 가장 많은 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다음으로는 영향력 리더십, 동기부여 리더십의 순으로 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 개별적 배려 리더십은 소방구조대원 개개인에 대해 관심을 갖고, 조직 원이 자신의 조직에 얼마나 중요한 존재인가를 강조하는 등 인본주의에 바탕을 둔 리더십이다. 개별 적 배려 리더십은 구조대원 자신이 얼마나 중요하고 소중하며, 구조대에서 얼마나 중요한 존재인가 를 확인시켜 구조대원 스스로가 자기주도적으로 구조활동 역량강화 및 안전인식 개선에 영향을 미칠 것으로 기대된다. This study examined the effects of transformational leadership of field commanders on fire rescue workers by dividing leadership characteristics into influence, individual consideration, and motivation. For this purpose, the survey was conducted on 4,600 firefighters across the country. The analysis of the awareness survey showed that individual caring leadership had the most impact on firefighters. Next, it was found that influence leadership and motivation leadership had the following effects. Individual caring leadership is a leadership based on humanism, such as paying attention to individual fire rescue workers and emphasizing how important the organization is to their organization. Individual caring leadership is expected to affect the self-directed structural activity capacity building and safety awareness improvement by confirming how important and important the rescue team itself is and how important it is in the rescue team.

        Empirical Study on the Retirement Management through Perception Survey of Firefighters

        The purpose of the present research was to provide baseline data for developing improvement measures for retirement management systems of firefighters, by conducting and analyzing an investigation on firefighters and their job activities after retirement. As a result of analysis, firefighters were most concerned with the financial portion among the concerns for their life after retirement. However in terms of financial preparations, there was nothing prepared other than pension for public officials and it was found that 72.1% had intentions to continue work even after their retirement. Moreover, it was found that if they were to continue working, they most preferred full-time employment of living expenses standards. In order to improve retirement management based on the empirical study on the retirement management of firefighters, the establishment of reemployment policies must be achieved through revitalization of support centers for changing occupations such as networks and organizations exclusively for changing occupations and retirements, as well as development of retirement programs for future retired firefighters

        The purpose of this study is to propose a quantitative evaluation method of landscape for urban landscape planning in urban planning for sustainable urban regeneration. The identity of the city is recognized as the com-petitiveness of the city, among the various elements that make up the identity of the city, the buildings that make up the city center and the landscape of the city center are important from the aspect of the space that realizes the lives of citizens. Cities will lose their vibrancy with the growth of the city and the flow of time, and there will also be where the city will disappear. By giving new functions and personality to such places, there is a possibility that urban revitalization is planned. Since the regeneration method does not regenerate only one object, urban planning for urban regeneration is necessary. Therefore, out of various fields of urban planning, we show quan-titative evaluation method for urban landscape planning, analyze the results, and propose urban landscape plan making use of characteristics of landscape. For this purpose, a field survey was conducted for the characteristic districts of Nagasaki City, Japan, and at the same time, characteristic landscapes were photographed and rec-orded. A landscape evaluation was carried out for the same and quantification was performed. In the landscape evaluation, the SD method was applied to the subjects, and quantification theory and cluster analysis were ap-plied to the results for quantification. Next, a characteristic urban landscape plan was proposed by analyzing the landscape evaluation with the quantification performed.

        An Empirical Study on the Perception of Health Risk Factors in Field Fire Officials - Focused on Fire Fighters, Rescue Workers and Emergency Medical -

        본 연구에서는 전국 소방공무원들을 대상으로 건강에 영향을 미치는 위험인자에 대해서 실증적으로 살펴보고, 그 결과를 활용하여 현장활동 소방공무원들의 건강관리 개선방안을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 외근 근로자인 화재진압대원과 구조대원, 구급대원의 업무특성에 따른 위험요인 인자 에 대하여 전국 소방공무원 6만여 명을 대상으로 인식조사를 실시하였다. 위험인자 요인의 내적일관 성신뢰도를 검토하여 신뢰도를 확보하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석을 통하여 잠재요인을 추출하여 요인 분석을 실시하였다. 또한 직무 간 위험인자 인식 차이를 알아보고자 일원배치 분산분석을 실시하여, 각 직무 간 위험인자를 검토하고, 직무 간 위험인자 인식에서 구조대원이 가장 위험하다고 인식하는 것을 검토하였다. 이를 통하여 현장안전을 위한 학문적 적립이 필요하다는 것과, 화재진압대원과 구조대원 등 현장대원이 위험하다 인식하는 유해화학물질에 대응하기 위한 조직적인 전문가 위원회 활동의 필요성을 제시하였다. In this study, we empirically examined risk factors that affect health for firefighting civil servants nationwide, and tried to utilize the results to establish a health management improvement plan for firefighting civil servants in the field. To this end, we conducted an awareness survey on the risk factors associated with the work characteristics of fire suppression personnel, rescue personnel, and rescue personnel. In the analysis, the internal consistency reliability of the risk factor factors was examined to ensure the reliability. Next, latent factors were extracted through Exploratory Factor Analysis and factor analysis was performed. We also performed a one-way ANOVA to investigate the differences in risk factor perceptions between jobs. Through the examination of risk factors between each job, he suggested that an academic scale for on-site safety is necessary. He also suggested the need for organized expert committee activities to deal with hazardous chemicals that field personnel perceive as dangerous.

        Developing Evaluation Method of Improving Sound Environment in Shelters in Disaster Situations

        대피소는 재난 등에 인한 피해자들이 일시적으로 대피, 거주하는 시설로 재난 발생 시 가장 기본적 인 방재시설이다. 그러나 국내 대피소의 경우 지정, 관리 및 지원 등에 대한 대응이 미흡한 실적이다. 이에 대피소에서의 피난생활에 관한 여러 문제들이 나타나고 있으며, 이 중 대피소의 실내환경의 각 영향요소 중 소리환경 개선을 위한 평가방법 개발을 목적으로 한다. 실내환경의 쾌적여부에 관한 기존연구는 실내요소에 대한 평가기준 및 모델이 연구되어 왔다. 그러나 평가요소간의 관계를 종합 적으로 평가하는 연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 관점에서 본 연구는 대피소의 실내환경 각 영향요소 중 소리환경을 중심으로 재실자의 인식에 따른 정량적 분석 및 종합적 평가모델을 개발하 기 위한 기초연구를 목적으로 한다. 이에 본 연구에서는 시노하라의 경관파악모델을 기본으로 소리 경관 파악을 제시한 스기하라의 소리경관파악모델을 이용하여 조사대상지역의 경관과 소리경관을 조사하여, 경관을 구성하는 대상물과 소리경관을 구성하는 소리의 관계를 파악하고, 소리경관파악 모델의 타당성을 검토하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 대피소의 실내환경의 평가모델의 개발연구의 기초자료로 활용될 것으로 사료된다. A shelter, a facility in which victims affected by disasters evacuate and temporarily reside, becomes the most fundamental facility for disaster prevention. Shelters in Korea, however, have responded poorly to designation, management and support. Among many problems of refugee life in shelters, this study aims to develop an evaluation method for improving sound environment as a factor influencing indoor environment of shelters. The existing studies on the comfort of shelters examined criteria and models for measuring indoor factors by difference in perceptions, but few studies have comprehensively evaluated the relationship between factors. From this perspective, this study attempts to develop a general evaluation and quantitative analytic model on residents' perceptions, focusing on sound environment as a determinant of indoor environment of shelters. It examined landscapes and soundscapes in study area, understood the relationship between sound and soundscapes by using Sugiyama's model of soundscape perception, and then tested the validity of the model. The findings of this study are thought to be used as basic data for the study of developing an evaluation model of indoor environment in shelters in the future.

        A Study on the Resilience of Urban Disaster through Space Design: Focusing on Nagasaki City, Japan

        Historically, we could find through case studies and researches that cites are recovering themselves from disasters and accidents. Resilience refers to the power of returning a state changed due to some stimulation to its original state. The criteria suggested as the basis of the resilience of the city is based on the reconstruction of the city and it does not deal with the recovery of citizen who are the elements of the city. As modern citizen living in the city are exposed to various formal dangers, space design making a harmonious environment to recover it are getting attentions, Therefore, in this study, we paid attentions on hearing that can greatly affect vision in spatial design and assumed it as a component of the spatial environment and performed simulation of improvement effect. By identifying the effect of the objects constituting the space to the entire landscape through the analysis result, we could efficiently figure out the effect of improving the space. Also, through the results, it is judged that the rational improvement direction of the resilience space environment can be derived by using the quantified data as basic data in the resilience space plan.
