Molecular grafting to improve adhesion of spray-deposited circuits on polymeric surface for flexible electronics

Dexin Chen,Zhixin Kang,Takeshi Bessho 한국공업화학회 2017 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.52 No.-

An efficient molecular grafting approach is presented to improve interfacial adhesion of logic circuits byvirtue of the valuable molecules chemically linked to polymer surfaces. With spray-assisted layer-by-layer deposition, pure metallic Ag coatings with a thickness of 130 gm adhere well to the PET plastics andthe homogeneity of the Ag coatings has been studied. In particular, the peel broken site is estimatedinside polyester resin beneath the interface. The fabricatedflexible circuits maintain high conductivityunder various twisting conditions and bending tests, indicating the possibility of producing robustprinted circuits ontoflexible substrates.

Adaptive Prescribed-time Control for Coupled 6-DOF Spacecraft Formation Flying

        Li Chen,Yongyan Sun,Xiaowei Shao,Junli Chen,Dexin Zhang 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2023 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.21 No.2

This paper studies the prescribed-time spacecraft formation flying problem under known and unknown external disturbance. The coupled 6-degrees-of-freedom relative kinematics and dynamics for spacecraft are modeled by using exponential coordinates of SE(3). With the help of the linear time-varying Lyapunov inequality based prescribed-time stability theorem, a novel global adaptive prescribed-time time-varying high-gain control law is designed by backstepping. It is shown that the designed controller is bounded. Numerical simulations verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method.

Selected microRNA-192 mutant indicates association with several function genes in bovine cells

        Chen Zi,Dexin Zeng,Jiyong Zhou,Jianjun Dai,Luyan Jiang,Feng Xue,Yuan Jiang,Baoguang Li 한국유전학회 2018 Genes & Genomics Vol.40 No.4

MicroRNAs are implicated in many cellular processes such as cell differentiation and development, tumorigenesis, and immune regulation. In this study, miR192 was detected using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) when MDBK cells were exposed to Escherichia coli. Cells with malfunction of bta-miR-192 were established using transcription activator-like effector nuclease (TALEN) technology. Finally, bta-miR-192 mutant cells were screened for differentially expressed genes using RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq). The results showed that miR192 significantly decreased in cells exposed to E. coli F18ac and E. coli K88ac. The RNA-seq results showed that 1673 differentially expressed transcripts were identified; 890 genes were upregulated and 775 genes were downregulated. With the gene ontology enrichment analysis, 431 differentially expressed genes (DEGs) were classified into 937 gene ontology terms. The pathway enrichment analysis showed that 535 genes were involved in 254 pathway terms. Interestingly, most of these DEGs were associated with the pathways in cancers or infectious diseases. When the selected DEGs (n = 162) in these pathways were intersected with 120 differential transcripts, 11 DEGs were identified. Subsequently, several genes associated with regulation, cancers, or viral infections, such as LEF1, AXIN2, MX1, and FCGR2B, were identified among the DEGs using functional analysis. Furthermore, associations between bta-miR-192 and DEGs were detected by intersecting the bta-miR-192’s target genes with the DEGs, indicating that three genes including CBL, DICER1 and TRERF1 were involved in this relationship. These findings provided useful guidance for investigating the role played by bta-miR-192 in cellular functionality in bovine cells.

Molecular cloning of the Bombus terrestris bumblebee venom protein phospholipase A2 and its anti-leukemia effects on K562 cells

        Yuling Qiu,Yali Chen,Haiyang Yu,Qianxiang Zhou,Ran Wang,Meihua Jin,Dexin Kong 한국응용곤충학회 2017 Journal of Asia-Pacific Entomology Vol.20 No.2

Bee venom has been used for treating various diseases for a long time. However, the bioactive constituents of bee venom and its mechanisms remain poorly understood. In the present study, phospholipase A2 (Bt-PLA2) cDNA was cloned, and a mature form of Bt-PLA2 was purified from bumblebee venom (Bombus terrestris). The differentiation induction and apoptosis induction activities of Bt-PLA2 on chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) K562 cells were also evaluated. Bt-PLA2 cDNA has 540 nucleotides that encode a 180-amino-acid protein. The purified, mature form of Bt-PLA2 was an 18-kDa protein, and it inhibited K562 cell growth, determined by an IC50 value of 29.5 ng/μl. Moreover, Bt-PLA2 induced erythroid differentiation of K562 cells in a dose-dependent manner, and this was supplemented with the upregulation of glycophorin A (GPA) mRNA expression. Bt-PLA2- induced apoptosis, analyzed by DAPI staining, was correlated with the result analyzed by AnnexinV-FITC/PI binding. Furthermore, activation of caspase 3 and poly ADP-ribose polymerase (PARP) and inhibition of p-Akt, determined by western blot, further demonstrated that Bt-PLA2 induced apoptosis mainly through the Akt pathway. The parallel induction of erythroblasts differentiation of K562 cells and apoptosis due to Bt-PLA2 treatment demonstrated the potential use of Bt-PLA2 as an anti-leukemia drug lead.

      • Research of the Exciting Current Detection Method of MCR

        Wang Jun,Wei Liangliang,Chen Feng,Nie Dexin,Lu Wenhua 보안공학연구지원센터 2016 International Journal of Multimedia and Ubiquitous Vol.11 No.5

Magnetic valve controllable reactor (MCR) is a kind of dynamic reactive power compensation device. The exciting current of MCR is one of the important indexes of operating condition of MCR. This paper firstly analyzed the principle of MCR, and deduced the relationship between the exciting current and the output current, verified by MATLAB/SIMULINK. And then an effective method to detect the exciting current was proposed by this paper. The method has the advantages of optical fiber isolation, high detection precision, strong anti-interference, etc. Finally, a 220v/1200var MCR was experimented in detail. The results demonstrate the accuracy of the theoretical analysis.
