We have studied the effect of the Dzyaloshinskii Moria (DM) interaction on geometric quantum discord (GQD) and concurrence for two spin $\sfrac12$ particles in the XXZ Heisenberg model, we have also investigated the effects of the temperature, the strength of DM interaction (D) and the anisotropic coupling constant of the Heisenberg model $J_z$ on them in the GQD and concurrence. Further, we have compared the behaviors of GQD and entanglement for our system under the above parameters.

Laboratory research was conducted to compare the monotonic behavior of two different marine calcareous sands - Hormuz Island(HI) and Bushehr Port (BP) - with siliceous sand named Firoozkuh sand (F). A series of undrained isotropically consolidated triaxialtests was performed on reconstituted specimens of these sands. In this experimental investigation, their contractive and dilativebehaviors were evaluated. The effect of some important parameters, such as relative density and confining pressure on the behaviorof these specimens was studied. To analyze the effect of shape and stiffness (resistance to particle breakage) on the contractive andthe dilative responses of these soils, the influence of axial strain on the crushability of the calcareous soils was assessed. Thereafter, the undrained behavior of the soils was analyzed, using two parameters, which represented a normalized variation of excess porewater pressure in two phases of monotonic triaxial tests. The contractive and dilative behavior of the two different calcareous sandswas compared to the siliceous sand. The results showed that particle shape played a key role in the behavior of soils in contractivephase. However, the shearing response of the used carbonate soils was more affected by particle crushing in dilation.

The origin and distribution of median nerve varies among the different individuals. The median nerve variations in axillary region were reported by many authors previously. Understanding of these variations is especially necessary for clinicians to prevent iatrogenic nerve damage. The current work aimed to evaluate the possible anatomical variations of median nerve in the axillary region in a sample of the Iranian cadavers (Shiraz, Fars). We dissected 26 upper limbs from 13 male cadavers to investigate the different variations of median and musculocutaneous nerves according to Venieratos and Anagnostopoulou classification. In 23.07% of specimens (n=6), the medial root united with 2 lateral roots and formed the median nerve proximal to the coracobrachialis muscle. In one case, a communicating branch separated from the musculocutaneous nerve distal to the coracobrachialis and connected to the median nerve in upper arm. Our results suggest that there are anatomical variations of the median nerve in terms of its origin and its communication with the musculocutaneous nerve in the population of southern Iran. The anatomical knowledge of the median nerve variations is important for clinicians to improve patient health outcome. Theses variations of the median nerve should be considered during surgical procedures of the axillary region and nerve block of the infra clavicular part of the brachial plexus.

It is requisite in laser-aided direct metal deposition (LADMD) to investigate the influence of three key process parameters(laser power, scanning speed, and powder feeding rate) on geometric characteristics of single-track deposits so as to acquireLADMD deposits with minimum defects and controlled geometric accuracy. In this study, LADMD of Inconel 718 superalloywas studied and the dependency of geometric characteristics on key process parameters was investigated as a combinedparameter (PαVβFγ). A simple empirical-statistical modeling was used employing linear regression method. The resultsshowed that the geometric characteristics had a linear relationship with a combined parameter including three/two key processparameters together. The height and wetting angle of single-track deposits were dependent on P2V−1F1 and P3/2V−1F1,respectively. The width of single-track deposits was dependent on P2V−1/4 but it was independent of powder feeding rate. The dilution of single-track deposits depended on V1F−1 while laser power had no effect on it. A process map is developedto enable optimization of the process parameters in LADMD process of Inconel 718.
