Estimation for the Random Errors of Reflector Surfaces Using Measured Data
Meng Wang,Cong-Si Wang,Wei Wang,Jin-Zhu Zhou,Peng Li 한국정밀공학회 2014 International Journal of Precision Engineering and Vol. No.
In this research, a novel error-decomposition scheme is developed to determine efficiently the random errors of reflector surface basedon the discrete measurement data. The least squares fitting of semi-closed B-spline surface is employed. Subsequently, a spatialstatistical analysis is performed to determine whether the spatial independent distribution of the sampled data points is attained fora given confidence level. This research rests on the assumption that the measurement errors of instruments are trivial compared withrandom errors caused by machining and assembly inaccuracies. The presented methodology has been applied to the surface analysisof a 3.7 m reflector antenna.

Genetic Algorithm (GA) is a meta-heuristic algorithm which is capable of providing robust solutions for optimal design of structural components, particularly those one needs considering many design requirements. Hence, it has been successfully used by engineers in the typology optimization of structural members. As a novel approach, this study employs GA in order for conducting a case study with high constraints on the optimum mechanical properties of reinforced concrete (RC) beams under different load combinations. Accordingly, unified optimum sections through a computer program are adopted to solve the continuous beams problem. Genetic Algorithms proved in finding the optimum resolution smoothly and flawlessly particularly in case of handling many complicated constraints like a continuous beam subjected to different loads as moments shear - torsion regarding the curbs of design codes.

This residue was removed during the subsequent chemical bath deposition of the CdS buffer layer. However, the removal of the residue led to poor crystallinity and reduced photocurrent near the location of the residue, which suggests that controlling the formation of the sulfates during the fabrication of the absorber layer would be critical for obtaining high efficiency solar cells by the solution method.</P> <P><B>highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> We discovered sulfate residue on Cu2ZnSnS4 prepared by the solution method. </LI> <LI> The chemical bath deposition (CBD) of CdS removes the residue but degrades the absorber layer. </LI> <LI> Photocurrent is reduced in regions where residues were removed during CBD. </LI> </UL> </P>
Additive biocomponents from catfish by-products enhance the growth of shrimp Litopenaeus vannamei

The rapid expansion of shrimp production requires a huge amount of protein sources from soybeans and wild-caught fishmeal; both are becoming a shortage. Meanwhile, catfish production and processing is a giant industry in Vietnam, which produce hundred thousand tonnes of protein- and lipid-rich by-products, annually. Using catfish by-products to gradually replace the traditional protein sources in shrimp aquaculture may bring triple benefits: 1) reducing pressure on wild fish exploitation for fishmeal, 2) reducing the environmental impacts of catfish by-products, and 3) increasing the value and sustainability of aquaculture production. In this study, we used catfish by-products to produce fish protein hydrolysate (FPH) and nano-hydroxyapatite (HA) as additives in feed for Pacific white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei). The supplement mixture of FPH and HA was added into the commercial diet (Charoen Pokphand Group [CP], 38% protein, and 6.5% lipid) to reach 38%, 38.5%, 40%, 43%, and 44% of the crude protein content. The survival and growth of shrimps were weekly assessed to day 55. The results showed that the shrimp growth was highest at 43% crude protein content in the feed as indicated by an increase of 124% and 112% in shrimp weight and length, respectively, compared to the commercial reference diet. No negative effects of adding the mixture of FPH and HA on the water quality were observed. Vibrio density was lower than 6.5 × 103 CFU/mL, which is the lowest Vibrio density negatively affecting the shrimp growth and development. These findings indicate that the mixture of FPH and HA are promising additive components in feed for post-larval shrimp L. vannamei diets.

China has a vast territory and a large population, and the content of traditional folk culture is extremely rich. Social fire is an important part of Chinese traditional culture. There are many kinds, forms and rich contents of social fire in Shaanxi Province, which is an important representative of Chinese social fire. Maintaining and inheriting Shaanxi Shehuo folk culture is conducive to promoting cultural construction and cultural diversity, and promoting the construction of China’s harmonious society. In recent years, due to the development of China s modernization process, Shaanxi Shehuo has been faced with many problems, such as the loss of Shehuo art, the fault of inheritance, the imbalance of structure, and the extinction of some Shehuo culture. In this paper, a large number of historical materials and modern scholars’ research are summarized, and the “inheritor” problem of Shehuo is deeply discussed in the form of comparison, and some suggestions are put forward for the development and inheritance of Shehuo in Shaanxi Province:First of all, break through the constraints of time and region in the performance, and then, learn from foreign experience in the inheritance and development of folk culture. Finally, the feasibility of the community fire culture into the campus is explored.
