Diels–Alder reaction of anthracene on grafted polysiloxane and cylindrical carbosilane dendrimer

<P>Anthracene-grafted polysiloxane was prepared by the dehydrocoupling between linear siloxane polymers and anthracenecarbinol. The cylindrical type of dendritic polysiloxane was prepared up to the second generation by the hydrosilation between polysiloxane and vinyltrichlorosilane, and the continual addition of allyl alcohol. The anthracene groups on cylindrical dendrimers were prepared by the reaction of Si&n.bond;Cl bonds on the polymer and anthracenecarbinol. The Diels–Alder reaction of anthracene moieties on polysiloxane and maleimide derivatives, maleic acid anhydride, and 1,4-quinone derivatives was carried out under mild conditions. The polymers prepared were characterized by NMR and gel-permeation chromatography. Synthesis of Terpyridine Dendrimer

Dendrimers with 2,2':6,2˝-terpyridine groups on the periphery were prepared by chlorinated parent dendrimers (Gn-mCl; n = 1, m = 4; n = 2, m = 8; n = 3, m = 16) and 6-hydroxy-1-oxyhexa-4'-(2,2':6'.2˝-terpyridine). Dendrimers have been characterized by NMR, UV, MALDI Mass and elemental analysis.
Preparation of Organosilane Dendrimer Containing Allyl End Groups

A dendrimeric silane containing 162 allylic end groups is prepared via a divergent growing approach. The reaction process of the repetitive alkenylation and hydrosilylation cycles was monitored by NMRspectroscopic attachments. Both steps provided almost quantitative yields of pure silane dendrimers.
디스크 브레이크의 트라이볼로지적 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

In this paper surface profile, roughness and hardness were experimented for study of tribological characteristic of automotive disk brake. In this work, 5 specimens were employed for roughness test as a function running distance. Despite the fact that brakes must operate under a variety of environmental conditions, most research has worked in laboratory with ideal condition. This paper investigated the average roughness of disk brakes which are actually operated in automotive. Average roughness decreased with running distance from 0 to about 10,000㎞ due to unevenly contact surfaces between disk brake and pads. But that has been increased with running distance from about 10,000 to 20,000㎞ due to loss of solid lubrication film and higher contact pressure between two rubbing surfaces.

This paper presents the numerical results of the contact force and durability with optimized design of lip seal. Using the finite element method based on the Ogden model, the contact force and durability of lip seals were analyzed to illuminate the effect of various shaft interferences and the shape of lip seals. And the optimized design is performed through the Taguchi method. The results show that No.5 model is the best model. And the interference, angle and displacement(d) is important factors.

And the optimized design is performed through the Taguchi method. The results show that No.4 model is best model. And the inteference, angle and round is important factors.

This paper is for study on the leakage including with surface roughness in the valve stem system of diesel engine. This paper is for study on the oil leakage including with surface roughness in the valve stem system of diesel engine. In the leakage 1, the surface roughness was very dense, but leakage quantity of oil showed growing a trend. In the leakage 1 and 2, when the surface roughness was more scabrous, the control of oil leakage verified that fact is more advantageous. In the leakage 3, the sample verified more favorable for control of oil leakage that the surface roughness of valve stem was not soft. The experimental result of leakage 4 verified that lost a pocket effect that is a role for oil storage existing in the range of surface roughness in leakage 3. As a result, the oil leakage quantity knew increasing a tendency. In the showing from this experimental results, the condition of surface roughness being the most suitable for oil leakage control can conclude with 0.26~0.48㎛.

An improved synthesis of the spherical dendritic macromolecule G2 with 36 allylic end groups starting from allyl alcohol and trichlorosilane as the building blocks and siloxane tetramers as core molecules is described. The formation of pure and uniform dendrimers was controlled by ¹H and ??? NMR spectra. MALDI mass spectra, and elemental analyses. The subsequent generation of G3P with 108 Si-Cl bonds starting from G2 could not be made uniform by repetition of key intermediate steps.
