        韓国語を母語とする日本語学習者の 日本語「漢字+する」動詞の誤用について

        이재현,Chosa Hideki 한국일본어교육학회 2023 日本語敎育 Vol.106 No.1

This paper aims to prevent misuse of "漢字+する" (kanji + suru) among Korean learners of Japanese by applying natural language processing techniques. The study focuses on "漢字+する" verbs and their Korean counterparts "漢字+하다" (hanja + hada) that appear in the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) from N5 to N1 levels. The primary objective is to quantitatively determine the degree of exceptionality for "漢字+する" verbs that need to be addressed. First, in "漢字+する" at JLPT N5 to N1 levels, the following two points were clarified: (i) Regardless of the level, the self-transitive and intransitive alignment of "漢字+する" and "漢字+하다" exceeds 70%. (ii) The proportion of cases where "漢字+する" and "漢字+하다" do not align remains below 30% at all levels. Based on the results of these two points, this paper proposes treating (ii) as an exception in the presentation of "漢字+する" for Korean learners of Japanese and compiling them into a list.

      • A Spätzle-Processing Enzyme Required for Toll Signaling Activation in <i>Drosophila</i> Innate Immunity

        Jang, In-Hwan,Chosa, Naoyuki,Kim, Sung-Hee,Nam, Hyuck-Jin,Lemaitre, Bruno,Ochiai, Masanori,Kambris, Zakaria,Brun, Sylvain,Hashimoto, Carl,Ashida, Masaaki,Brey, Paul T.,Lee, Won-Jae Elsevier 2006 Developmental cell Vol.10 No.1

<P><B>Summary</B></P><P>The Toll receptor was originally identified as an indispensable molecule for <I>Drosophila</I> embryonic development and subsequently as an essential component of innate immunity from insects to humans. Although in <I>Drosophila</I> the Easter protease processes the pro-Spätzle protein to generate the Toll ligand during development, the identification of the protease responsible for pro-Spätzle processing during the immune response has remained elusive for a decade. Here, we report a protease, called Spätzle-processing enzyme (SPE), required for Toll-dependent antimicrobial response. Flies with reduced SPE expression show no noticeable pro-Spätzle processing and become highly susceptible to microbial infection. Furthermore, activated SPE can rescue ventral and lateral development in embryos lacking Easter, showing the functional homology between SPE and Easter. These results imply that a single ligand/receptor-mediated signaling event can be utilized for different biological processes, such as immunity and development, by recruiting similar ligand-processing proteases with distinct activation modes.</P>

      • Monitoring the Internal State of Sweet Potato Tubers during Heating by Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy

        ( Eri Takatori ),( Tadashi Chosa ),( Seishu Tojo ) 한국농업기계학회 2018 한국농업기계학회 학술발표논문집 Vol.23 No.1

Electrical impedance spectroscopy was used to monitor the internal state of sweet potato tubers during heating. The sweetness of sweet potato strongly relies on the baking temperature. However, the state of gelatinization and saccharification during actual baking is unclear. Electrical impedance spectroscopy was used as a non-destructive, continuous method to measure the internal state of sweet potato. The first experiment examined the effects of the amount material and the presence of skin on impedance. First, the impedance of a sweet potato with skin was measured. Next, the skin was removed from the sweet potato, and the impedance was measured again. Finally, the center core was bored out, and the impedance of the bored sample was measured. The measured value was drawn as a Cole-Cole plot and approximated to the modified Hayden model. The cell membrane capacitance (Cm) in modified Hayden model was correlated with the moisture content in specimens of all sizes. The impedance tended to decrease with the size of the specimen. Cm was affected by the distance between the electrodes. In the second experiment, potatoes were baked, and the impedance was measured during the process. Before heating, every sample showed a clear arc in the Cole-Cole plot. This was very close to the modified Hayden model. Shrinkage and collapse of the circular arc were observed during heating. A sharp decline in the resistance of the extracellular (Re) in modified Hayden was observed after heating for 5 minutes. The resistance of the intracellular (Ri) in modified Hayden model fluctuated slightly, although the overall trend was downward. This was thought to be due to an increase in the electrical conductivity of the extra- and intracellular fluid with heating. An increase in Ri and decrease in Re were observed at around 60°C. As this is within the gelatinization temperature zone of sweet potato, the changed was presumed to be due to gelatinization. A comparison of the temperature change with the sugar content and the state of the cross section after heating demonstrated that gelatinization and saccharification occurred during heating. The reported rise in Re near the gelatinization temperature was not obvious. We postulated that this was due to 1) the influence of skin, 2) the change in electrical conductivity due to heating, and 3) the influence of saccharification. It is necessary to consider modifying to compensate these factors.

      • Postoperative Serum CEA Level is a More Significant Prognostic Factor than Post/Preoperative Serum CEA Ratio in Non-small Cell Cancer Patients

Tomita, Masaki,Ayabe, Takanori,Chosa, Eiichi,Nakamura, Kunihide Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2015 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.16 No.17

Background: In non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with preoperative high serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) level, patients with a persistently high serum CEA level after surgery have been reported to have a poor prognosis. In addition, in other cancers, the post/preoperative serum CEA ratio has been reported as a useful parameter. Materials and Methods: We enrolled 123 NSCLC patients with preoperative high CEA levels (${\geq}5ng/mL$) who underwent curative surgery between 2004 and 2011. Prognostic significance of postoperative serum CEA level and the CEA ratio was examined. Results: The 5-year survival of patients with persistently high serum CEA level after surgery was poor. On the other hand, patients with normal postoperative serum CEA levels had significant favorable prognosis. The patients with CEA ratio>1 had poor prognosis, however the number was only 7 (5.7%). The 5-year survival rates of patients with other subgroup based on the CEA ratio ($0.5{\geq}CEA$ ratio and $0.5{\leq}CEA$ $ratio{\leq}1$) was similar. Multivariate analysis revealed prognostic significance for the postoperative serum CEA level but not the CEA ratio. Conclusions: For NSCLC patients with preoperative high serum CEA level, their postoperative serum CEA levels is a more significant prognostic factor than the post/preoperative serum CEA ratio.

      • Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Mutations in Japanese Men with Lung Adenocarcinomas

Tomita, Masaki,Ayabe, Takanori,Chosa, Eiichi,Kawagoe, Katsuya,Nakamura, Kunihide Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2014 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.15 No.24

Background: Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations play a vital role in the prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma. Such somatic mutations are more common in women who are non-smokers with adenocarcinoma and are of Asian origin. However, to our knowledge, there are few studies that have focused on men. Materials and Methods: One hundred and eighty-four consecutive patients (90 men and 94 women) of resected lung adenocarcinoma were studied retrospectively. Results: EGFR mutations were positive in 48.9% and negative (wild type) in 51.1%. Overall mutation was significant in women (66.0% vs. 32.2%) compared with men (p<0.001). For overall patients, EGFR mutation status was associated with gender, pStage, pT status, lepidic dominant histologic subtype, pure or mixed ground-glass nodule type on computed tomography and smoking status. However, in men, EGFR mutation status was only associated with lepidic dominant histologic subtype and not the other variables. Interestingly, the Brinkman index of men with mutant EGFR also did not differ from that for the wild type ($680.0{\pm}619.3$ vs. $813.1{\pm}552.1$ p=0.1077). Conclusions: The clinical characteristics of men with lung adenocarcinoma related to EGFR mutation are not always similar to that of overall patients. Especially we failed to find the relationship between EGFR mutations and smoking status in men.

      • Correlation between Serum Carcinoembryonic Antigen Level and Histologic Subtype in Resected Lung Adenocarcinoma

Tomita, Masaki,Ayabe, Takanori,Nakamura, Eiichi Chosa Kunihide Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention 2015 Asian Pacific journal of cancer prevention Vol.16 No.9

Background: Recent studies revealed a relationship between ground-glass opacity (GGO) ratio on computed tomography (CT) and serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) level in lung adenocarcinoma. Since an association between lepidic histologic pattern and GGO is well accepted, we investigated the link between histologic subtype and serum CEA level in resected lung adenocarcinoma. Materials and Methods: One hundred and eighty-one consecutive patients with resected lung adenocarcinoma were studied retrospectively. The histologic subtype was subdivided into 2 groups: lepidic dominant histologic subtype, including adenocarcinoma in situ, minimally invasive adenocarcinoma and lepidic predominant invasive adenocarcinoma versus other subtypes. Results: The 5-year survival of patients with s high serum CEA level was significantly more unfavorable than that with normal levels. Similarly, there was also a relationship between the patient survival and histologic subtype, with favorable survival found in patients with the lepidic dominant histologic subtype. There was a significant relationship between serum CEA level and lepidic dominant histologic subtype overall and in p-stage I patients. Conclusions: Lung adenocarcinomas with non-lepidic dominant histologic subtype are associated with high serum CEA levels.
