FSK 변조에 의한 CPM DS-SS 통신시스템의 단일주파수 잡음에 대한 성능평가

This paper has analyzed the performance against a single tone jamming for the CPM DS-SS system with a Binary FSK Modulation. The CPM DS-SS system designed with the different phase shift of the same pseude-noise code has the advantage of reducing the jamming and interference effects on multi-users communication environment. Analytical results show that the system preformance improves by increasing parrallel users in he presence of the coherent single-tone, which is the worst interference since the jamming signal has the same frequency as a carrier.
전력선모뎀 및 조광제어 안정기를 이용한 400W Metal Halide Lamp의 조광제어 시스템 개발

In this paper, we developed remote dimming control system of electronic ballast for 400W metal halide lamp. This ballast could limit ignition current and soft start-up technique by the inverter with LCsCp resonance tank. The dimming circuit can dim from 400W to 200W by varying of the inverter switching frequency. The PLM consists of coupling circuit, BPF(Band-Pass Filter), FSK(Frequency Shift Keying) Modem and μ-controller(Micro Controller). By coupling electronic ballast with PLM, the system that able to dimming the lamp through PLM is demonstrated by experimental results.
메탈핼라이드 램프용 조도제어형 자기식 안정기의 최적 설계 방법

The inductor which is used at low frequency as the main part of magnetic ballast consists of an iron core, a bobbin and coil. The conventional inductor design method is not suitable for the magnetic ballast because it has various variables and is not a unique method for the magnetic ballast. Thus, this paper presents the optimal design method for a lamination type inductor using a magnetic ballast for Metal Halide Lamps. Also, the optimal inductor design method is researched for inductors of dimming ballasts and ignitors that have a gate-triggered structure using a SCR thyristor. By the simulation and experimental results, we showed that the proposed design methods is valid.

The power line channel has time-variant characteristics caused by various kind of electrical devices. This characteristics are synchronized with the main voltage by their own characteristics. The main factors of disturbance are the variation of the channel impedance and noises, In other papers [2] [3], the synchronous noise modeling has been achieved. But the modeling is not satisfied simultaneously with the time domain and the frequency domain and there are not any discussion about short-term variations of the channel impedance which cause to the signal fading. Therefore, this paper researched to solve problems about the signal fading by analyzing the short-term variation of the channel impedance, and proposed the synchronous noise modeling which is satisfied simultaneously in the time domain and the frequency domain.

For the power line communication, we studied its characteristic impedance, noise characteristics, loss characteristics and the coupling circuit between the communication MODEM and power lines. As the results of the experiments, we concluded that the power line impedance in a house varied in the wide range because the electric systems generate the current and voltage hamornic noises.

Today there is an ever increasing effort to control high-pressure discharge lamps with electronic ballasts. HID lamps can be ignited by high-voltage pulses and need an ignitor to start them. An ignitor gives high-voltage pulses to HID lamps, which have the type of the P-spice program and we have shown experimental results in this paper . The result of this study seems to be able to help to develope various ignitors.

In recent years, various power factor correction(PFC) circuits for the electronic ballast have been proposed. And these circuts have difference characteristics each other . We have researched several PFC circuits of them. And operational principles and characteristics fo PFC circuits are compared by the cost and the electrical performance.Finally, we established the reference for the evaluation of PFC circuits with performance and the price.
32Watt 형광등용 3단자 반도체 스타터의 개발 및 특성

Various types of electronic starter have been developed for the general fluorescent lamps with magnetic-type ballasts. However, the FL032/T8 fluorescent lamp requires higher voltage to discharge the lamp. The general starter with two-terminal is not suitable for the FL032/T8 slim-line type fluorescent for its higher discharge voltage. The suitable starter with three terminals have been studied for the FL032/T8 lamp in this paper. The developed starter have better characteristics in view points of the discharge voltage magnitude. We have proposed and designed the three terminals electronic starter. The proposed starter have been experimented and compared with the other 2-terminal general starters. By the experimental results, we have concluded that the proposed starter is suitable to the FL032/Ts lamp.

This paper develops a design technique for approximating nonseparable frequency characteristics by sums and products of separable transfer functions. Therefore nonseparable frequency characteristics includes the four-quadrant symmetry filters. The desired filter with half plan symmetry is obtained by shifting a low pass characteristic in the frequency domain, and by combining these shifted characteristics. Also the paper develops the technique for designing recursive and nonrecursive two dimensional digital filters by the application of a complex transformation to one dimensional low pass filter.
