amorphouscalciumfluorophosphate (CPP-ACFP) on artificial proximal carious lesion in situ. Methods: Two volunteers wore palatal appliances attached with 6 slabs, each consisted of 3, 1x1 mm2 windows on contralateral sides each serving as intraoral control and material applied groups, with original control slabs kept in deionized water. The appliance were immersed in 20% sucrose solution 8 times a day. Each material was randomly assigned to each 14 day-session. The appliances were worn in 4, 14 day-sessions with one week wash-out periods. The carious cross sectioned area was analyzed with Image-Pro plus program. Results: All the materials significantly reduced the lesion area comparing to control in descending order: RMGI, GI, NaF-gel and CPP-ACFP (p<0.05). Conclusion: The use of these remineralizing agents helped remineralizing the incipient lesion from 12-34%.

Objective: To compare the remineralizing effect of resin modified glass ionomer (RMGI), glass ionomer (GI), 5,000 ppm NaF gel (NaF-gel) and caseinphosphopeptide amorphouscalciumfluorophosphate (CPP-ACFP) on artificial proximal carious lesion in situ. Methods: Two volunteers wore palatal appliances attached with 6 slabs, each consisted of 3, 1x1 mm2 windows on contralateral sides each serving as intraoral control and material applied groups, with original control slabs kept in deionized water.
