The current study evaluates the capacity of Caryophylli Flos water extract(CFWE) to regulate immediate allergic reaction by control of histamine release. CFWE was found to exhibit a ingibitory activity on the compound 48/80-induced anaphylaxis. CFWE inhibited the serum histamine release induced in anaphylaxis by compound 48/80. CFWE was also showed a dose-depent activity on the conpound 40/80-induced histamine release from the highly purified population of Alcian Blue-positive peritoneal mast cells. This result suggest that CFWE may be useful for the prevention and treatment of allergy related disease.

Pilomatricoma, often called calcifying epithelioma of Malherbe, is a tumor with differentiation toward hair cells, particularly hair matrix cells. It presents as a firm, deep-seated nodule that is covered by normal or pink skin. It is occuring usually as a single lesion which is most commonly found on the face, neck, or proximal upper extremity. Multiple lesions are quite unusual, comprising only 2-3.5% of cases. A 32-year old man had 3 subcutaneous nodules on the both upper extremities. Histological findings of the lesion showed the typical pattern of pilomatricoma. We presented herein one case of multiple pilomatricoma with the review of literatures.

In recent, the CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastics) composite has been widely used because it has light-weight and high mechanical strength. Therefore, CFRP composite is applied to variable industrial areas such as aerospace, automobiles, sporting goods, ships and so on. Generally, CFRP composite has been used in the industrial field by mechanical cutting processes. In this research, the CFRP composite specimen are laminated by 64plies with orientation angles such as 0°, 45°, 90° and [0°/±45°/90°]4S. The results are analyzed with cutting force and cutting surface.

A high performance liquid chromatographic method developed for the determination of polyamines(putrescine, spermidine and spermine) in the serum of normal human and cancer patients. The benzoyi chloride derivatives of polyamines are separated on a uBondapak C_18 reverse-phase column with methanol/water(50v/50v) as the mobile phase. The results show that the mean level of polyamines in concer patients serum is much higher than that in normal human serum.

Pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular, inflammatory proliferation that appears following minor trauma in children and young adults. The exact pathogenesis of pyogenic granuloma is unknown, but its formation is closely related to minor trauma, chronic irritation, and hormonal influences. A 52-year old woman visited us with a protruding nodule on the right zygoma area. The nodule was pedunculatedby trauma of tied up nevus. Based on the histological finding, we diagnosed post-traumatic pyogenic granuloma like lesion developed within melanocytic nevus.

The purpose of this study was to elucidate the relationship between body mass index and body Composition ingredients, Body Composition ingredients were height, protein, mineral, intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid. Subjects were 101 male college students, Subjects were divided into three groups according to their BMI, LWG(low weight group, n=27) was consisted of students under BMI 20㎏/㎡. NWG(normal weight group, n=37) was consisted f students who have BMI 20 ~ 22.9㎏/㎡, OWG(Ove weight group, n=37) was consisted of students over BMI 23㎏/m2, Measurement instrument was bioelectrical-impedance analyzer, Statistical analysis methods were One-Way ANVOVA, Pearson Correlation. The results were as followed: 1. Height of NWG was higher than LWG OWG(p<.05), Normal weight has some positive effect on the growth of height, But low weight and over weight indicated the possibility that have negative effect on the growth of height. 2. The higher weight, the higher volumes of protein and mineral. But low weight indicated the possibility that have negative effect on the growth of muscle and bone. 3. The possibility that have positive effect on the maintainment of intracellular volume and energy metabolism of NWG was higher than LWC OWG And LWG indicated the possibility that have negative effect on the function of intracellular fluid and extracellular fluid.

The present study was carried out to find the attempt that exhibits the Lest record during long jump competition. The subjects of this study were 72(male=40, female=32.) long jump athletes who passed elimination in national track and field events, These subjects practiced six long jump during their competition Therefore, total trials of long jump were 432. Arid these records were recognized as official records by Korea Amateur Athletic Federation. The results were as follows; First, total Repeated ANOVAs revealed that there was no significant trial difference, but separate Repeated ANOVAs revealed that there was significant trial difference in gender records. Second, there was significant trial difference in male records, and post-hoc revealed that the record of 5 trial was the highest. Third, there was no significant trial difference in female records. From these results, I suggest that it is important for long jump athletes and their coaches involved in competition to be familiar with the variety of mechanism which can be leaded fatigue, and that it is desirable to exhibit the Lest competition record during elimination period.

This paper describes that the cutting resistance of non-homogeneous workpiece siuch as mild steel having 6-4 brass fitted on 6 parts of grooved mild steel in turning operations with various cutting conditions by using tool dynanometer was investigated experimentally. The three components of cutting forces was recorded on the oscillograph, the size of workpiece was 50 ㎜ø × 300 ㎜ and Chemical composition of tool was w(18%) - Cr(4%) - V(1%). The results of this experiment are as follows; (1) The cutting forces increase with increasing depth of Cut, and feeds. (2) The cutting forces ( principal forces, feed forces) increase little by little till cutting velocity 60m/min, but the cutting forces increase rapidly from cutting velocity 60m/min to 110m/min and decrease from this point continously.
