CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE의 鷄胎器官成長에 미치는 效果에 關한 硏究

420 fertilized white leghorn eggs were incubated and injected 0.05㎎ or 0.1㎎ of cyclophosphamide into chorio-allantoic membrane on the 6th or 8th day of incubation. Whole body, brain, eye-ball, heart, lung, liver and kidney were weighed on the 12th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th and 18th day of incubation and compared with that of control group. The effects of cyclophosphamide on the mitotic coefficient in liver were also studied microscopically. The effects of injection time and dosage of cyclophosphamide on developing chick embryo were analyzed by the growth formula and the results were obtained as followings. 1. The growth of chick embryos was markedly inhibited by cyclophosphamide treatment. The growth inhibitory effect was more significant in the 6th day treatment group compared with that of 8th day treatment group, with the exception of heart and kidney which showed no noticeable difference in both groups. Increasing the dosage of cyclophosphamide from 0.05㎎ to 0.1㎎, more significant growth inhibition was observed in body weight, eye-ball and heart but the difference was not found in brain, lung, liver and kidney. 2. Specific growth rate was significantly low in body weight, eye-ball and liver of the 6th day treatment group and body weight, brain, lung and heart of the 8th day treatment group. 3. Mitotic coefficient in liver was lower in the 6th day treatment group than that of the 8th day treatment group, but no significant difference was observed between 0.05㎎ and 0.1 ㎎ injected groups.

As the computing technologies treating multimedia data have been developed rapidly, there are a lot of efforts in research and development for the construction of multimedia database systems. In this paper, we design an object-oriented database language called Algebraic Database Language(ADL). ADL is a database language for Algebraic Data Model which is a formal defined object-oriented data model based on an algebra. ADL uses algebraic expressions as the language constructs, and tries to express temporal and spatial information naturally for displaying multimedia data via output devices.

Background: Testicular rupture is a surgical emergency which command immediate repair. If surgery is delayd, a hematoma causes severe pain and loss of spermatogenesis as well as hormonal functions. Scrotal ultrasonography has been helpful in early diagnosis of testicular rupture. But disadvantage of ultrasonography include a relatively low signal-to-noise level, tissue nonspecificity, lack of contrast media, a small field of view, and dependence on the operators skill and the patients physique. Also the diagnostic accuracy, sensitivity or specificity of scrotal ultrasonography was variable in regard to authors. And so, a diagnostic accuracy of scrotal ultrasonography was evaluated in scrotal trauma. Methods·. We reviewed 38 patients of scrotal trauma from May, 1994 to March, 1998. 6 patients were treated conservatively fellowing sonography and 10 patients treated only surgical exploration without ultasonography Surgical exploration was performed in 22 case, which were evaluated by ultasound before surgical treatment. In a such 22 cases, diagnostic accuracy of scrotal ultasonography was evaluated. Results: We compared ultrasound before treatment with surgical exploration finding in a such 22 cases. The ultrasonographic features in 7(31.8%) out of 22 cases, which showed testicular ruptured, but surgical exploration revealed testicular rupture in5 and epididymal rupture in 1, simple hematocele in 1. In 15(68.2%) out of 22cases the simple hematocele was diagnosed by ultrasonography, but surgical finding feature in of the 7 cases revealed testicular rupture, epididymal rupture in 1, simple hematocele in 7. The sensitivity and specificity for the ultrasonography are 42.9% and 87.5%, and the positive and negative predictive values are 86.5%and 46.7%, respectively. Ultrasonography is low sensitive in identifying testicular rupture. Conclusion: 7trasonography include a relatively low signal-to-noise level, tissue nonspecificity, lack of contrast media, a small field of view, and dependence on the operators skill and the patients physique. Therefore, early surgical exploration for saving the testis should be performed that sonographically by seeing hypoehoic peripheral lesions and disappearance of normal ovoid form of testis, hematocele in scrotal sac.
Testosterone 投與한 鷄胎器官의 成長 및 相對成長에 關하여

This study is to analyze the effects of testostenone on the weight gains of body weight and various organs of chick embroys, out of which growth and relative growth formula have been derived. On the 8th and 12th days of incubation, 0.5㎎ and 7.5㎎ of testosterone were injected into the chorio-allantoic membrance of each incubated egg of two groups, and each main group were devided into three more small groups such as control, 0.5㎎ injected group and 7.5㎎ injected group. Between the 12th and 18th of incubation day, a daily total of 10 treated eggs were brocken for weighing the body weights of chick embryos and six organs, namely, brain, eyeball, lung, liver, heart and kidney. The authors used Dr. Joo's formula to analyze the growth and relative growth in this study. The results are as follows: 1) Growth rate; In the 8th day group, it was observed to be increased in body weight through out three groups-control, 0.5㎎ group and 7.5㎎ group, in 0.5㎎ groups and 7.5㎎ groups of brain, lung and liver, in 0.5㎎ group of heart and in 7.5㎎ group of kidney. The others were decreased. In the 12th day group, the increase in growth rate was observed in followings; eevery group of body weight, lung and liver, control group and 7.5㎎ group of kidney. The others were decreased. 2) Specific growth rate; The increase was observed onlo in the drug injected groups of lung in 12th day group and the others were decreased. Among the others, 7.5㎎ groups of lung in 8th day group and body weight in 12th group were increased until 13th day of incubation and thereafter they were decreased. And control of lung in 12th day group was increased until 16th day of incubation and was decreased thereafter. 3) Growth gradient: The growth centers appeared as follows. a) In the 8th day group; most of them were on 12th day of incubation, except 0.5㎎ group of brain which was on between 16th and 17th, control of eyeball on 15th, 0.5㎎ group of eyeball on 13th, 0.5㎎ groups of lung and liver on 18th, and 7.5㎎ group of lung on between 17th and 18th day. b) In the 12th day group; most of them were found to be on 12th day of incubation except control and 0.5㎎ groups of eyeball on 13th, liver and control group of kidney on 18th day. 4) Coefficient of relative growth; The coefficients of relative growth to body weight were as follows: a) In the 8th day group; 7.5㎎ group of lung, liver and 0.5㎎ group of kidney were of positive allometry; the others showed negative. b) In the 12th day group;0.5㎎ group of brain and every group of liver were of positive allometry and the others were negative.
