This study was conducted to examine the effect relationship among emotional labor, burnout, organizational commitment and turnover intention of franchise restaurant's employees. Moreover, the results can provide strategical implications for human resources management of franchise restaurant companies. Emotional labor consists of 2 factors: surface acting, deep acting and burnout consists of 3 factors: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, low personal accomplishment. The results are suggested useful implications to human resources management of franchise restaurant companies. First, restaurant executives have to prepare the education manual that contain reliability and protection for employees facing customers. Second, it is important that a cafe, restroom and other facilities have also been set up in work place for employees. The facilities will be helpful to relieve employees' physical and mental fatigue. Third, restaurant managers have to listen carefully employees suggestion and difficulties in their job.

The purpose of this study was to provide basic data in child health education or counselling through content analysis related to child health in newspaper articles. Data were collected 8 daily newspaper by selecting health articles from neonate to adolescent period during 1 year from January 1 to December 31 in 1998. The data were analyzed in the framework of content analysis method and the reliability degree was 98% by the method of Holsti. The results of this study are as follows. 1. The frequency according to health category, disease treatment(46.7%) topped followed by health maintenanceㆍpromotion(28.0%), disease prevention(14.7%), growthㆍdevelopment(10.6%) 2. The frequency according to season, summer (36.4%) rank first. 3. The frequency according to WHO international disease classification, infectious disease (29.6%) take most. 4. According to child developmental age, similar frequency showed from infant to adolescent except neonate. 5. 201 themes, 43 category,4 health categories were confirmed in the content analysis. 6. Health maintenceㆍpromotion occupy 28.0% of health category include 14 categories. 7, Growthㆍdevelopment include 6 category occuping 10.6% of the whole health category. 8. Disease prevention occupy 14.7% of health category and contain 6 categories. 9. Disease treatment take top of health category by the rate of 46.7% and contain 17 categories.

This study examines the perception about hotel human resource service and facilities service according to customers; characteristics: age, sex and income level. Results indicated that customers` satisfaction was strongly related to human resource service. Moreover, both male and female perceived facilitate service is important in choosing a hotel. Therefore, strategic hotel services should be developed to improve the training program for hotel human resources and facilities state of high quality.
관광학전공자의 진로결정 자기효능감이 산학실습 만족도와 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향

This study was carried out to find out the influence of job career decision-making self efficacy on internship program satisfaction and career preparation behavior of students majoring in tourism. Out of 270 questionnaires, 248 were analysed. Based on conducting factor analysis results, internship program satisfaction was classified into 4 factors: constructs, contents, benefit and environment. Career decision-making self efficacy was classified into 4 factors (information gathering, self-evaluation, goal setting and problem solving) and career preparation behavior was classified into 3 factors (planning, counseling and searching). Self-evaluation factor of career decision-making self efficacy had influences on planning and searching factors of career preparation behavior. Self-evaluation factor of career decision-making self efficacy had positive influences on internship program satisfaction. Environment satisfaction factor of internship program had negative influences on career preparation behavior. Forth, internship program satisfaction had a mediating effect on the relationship between career decision-making self efficacy and career preparation behavior.
COVID-19 상황에서 관광학 전공 대학생의 사회적 지지가 진로결정 자기효능감에 미치는 영향 -전공만족도 매개효과를 중심으로-

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect social support of college students major in tourism on career decision making self-efficacy. To achieve the research purpose, the samples were drawn from six colleges located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. A total of 330 questionnaires were used for the analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, only professor support, one of the sub factors of social support, had positive effect on major satisfaction. Social support had positive effect on career decision making self-efficacy partially. Second, major satisfaction had positive effect on information collection, goal establishment, and self-evaluation, the sub factors of career decision making self-efficacy. Third, major satisfaction had the mediating effect between social support and career decision making self-efficacy. According to the result of this study, the meaning can be suggested. It is necessary for college students major in tourism under COVID 19 circumstances to have high self-efficacy and higher major satisfaction.
외식 프랜차이즈 경쟁력 증진을 위한 프랜차이즈 비용구조 전략

Franchise contracts typically contain three forms of payment from franchisee to franchisor in Korean restaurant franchise: the initial franchise fee, the ongoing royalty payment, and deposit money. This paper has explored the franchise fee structure and franchisee's perception on franchisor's support. Results indicated that the initial franchise fee was significantly positively associated with the franchisee's perception on start-up services signifcantly. Also royalty and the franchisee's perception on ongoing services had a positive relationship. Therefore, strategic franchise fee structure should be developed to improve the competitiveness of restaurant franchise. Implications for franchisor and franchisee were discussed.
