ATC(Automatic Train Control) system employed in Bundang urban transit is operated in accordance with automatic blocking equipment. Using AF(Audio Frequency) track circuits installed at a block section, the block signal is automatically controlled and the safety of train operation is supported. In this paper, we investigate the operation mode of bundang urban transit and analyze the operation algorithm of ATC on-board system.

This paper is presented to a theory comparing each different systems by quantitatively analyzing reliability, availability, maintenance and safety. Reliability R(t) produced by the method here is used for MTBF calculation of system as reliability of normal state. It is possible to produce the failure rate of unsafety state through modelization of system only to use the failure rate, after yielding the failure rate of failure mode to each un safety sate in case that unsafety state is defined with the function of systems applied.

This paper show Device Driver for RTOS-FT Systems. In this paper, a definition of Device Driver is introduced which is used in RTOS-FT Systems. The structure of Device Driver is briefly divided into physical layer and logical layer. The specific characteristic of physical field and logical field which is discussed in this paper is suggested for the system which is satisfied with fault-tolerant theory.

In a signal control of the railway system, the first objective is to guarantee a safety of the train operation, and the second is to increase a frequency(a capability of the transportation) of the train operation. In order to express the capability of the transportation a terminology what is called a railroad line capacity is employed. The railroad line capacity means a maximum frequency of the train operation in a possible schedule of the one way operation for one day. During the last several years an improvement in the facilities of the train operation (railroad line extension, improvement in the stations, improvement in the signal facilities) has been achieved to increase the railroad line capacity. In this paper the authors deal with the case analysis which try to shorten headway and which has an impartible relation with increasing of the railroad capacity
