운전석 압력분포 측정을 위한 Velostat<SUP>TM</SUP>기반 압력센싱 플랫폼 개발

As a preliminary study for improving driver’s comfort, we developed novel force sensor based on Velostat<SUP>TM</SUP> as well as implemented seat pressure distribution sensing platform. The test result shows that the developed force sensor shows a power-law y=5.1185x<SUP>-1.03</SUP>, R²=0.9949 characteristic in 0∼10 kg weight changes. Pressure sensing platform, consists of 8 developed force sensors, in 3×3 lattice structure, was tested by changing postures to validate its feasibility. Developed pressure sensing platform shows acceptable results of pressure distribution in normal, tilting-left, tilting-right and lean-forward posture each.
