Natural gas hydrates have a high potential as the 21st century new energy resource, because it have a large amount of deposits in many deep-water and permafrost regions of the world widely. Natural gas hydrate is formed by physical binding between water molecule and gas mainly composed of methane, which is captured in the cavities of water molecules under the specific temperature and pressure. 1m³ methane hydrate can be decomposed to the methane gas of 172m³ and water of 0.8m³ at standard condition. Therefore, there are a lot of practical applications such as separation processes, natural gas storage transportation and carbon dioxide sequestration. For the industrial utilization of methane hydrate, it is very important to rapidly manufacture hydrate. However, when methane hydrate is artificially formed, its reaction time may be too long and the gas consumption in water becomes relatively low, because the reaction rate between water and gas is low. So in this study, hydrate formation was experimented by adding natural zeolite and Synthetic zeolite 5A in distilled water, respectively. The results show that when the Synthetic zeolite 5A of 0.01 wt% was, the amount of gas consumed during the formation of methane hydrate was higher than that in the natural zeolite. Also, the natural zeolite and Synthetic zeolite 5A decreased the hydrate formation time to a greater extent than the distilled water at the same subcooling temperature.

During the past few years emission regulations have become more stringent as a result of increased environmental issue and energy saving. To meet stringent diesel emission regulations, the diesel exhaust gas aftertreatment systems such as LNT(Lean NOx Trap), LNC(Lean NOx Catalyst) and SCR(Selective Catalytic Reduction) were developed. Especially, it is well known that the urea-SCR system for diesel engine aftertreatment is very effective system for reduction of NOx in diesel exhaust gas. Also, DOC which can meet regulations of exhaust gas induces fast SCR reaction through NO oxidation. In this study, therefore, numerical experiments were carried out to estimate the SCR De-NOx performance in DOC plus SCR systems. After validating the present approach by comparing the present results with the experimental results, such various parameters as space velocity, H₂O concentration, NO₂/NOx ratio and relative volume of DOC are explored to increase the SCR De-NOx performance.
고등학교 수학 교과서에 제시된 유리수 지수 α(m/n)의 정의에 관한 소고

There may be two methods defining the rational exponent α(m/n) for any positive real number α. The one which is used in all korean highschool mathematics textbooks is to define it as n√α(m) that is (α(m))(1/n). The other is to define it as (n√α)m, that is (α1/n)m. In this paper, we insist that the latter is more appropriate and universal, and that the contents of current textbooks on the definition of the rational exponent should be corrected.

수학적 불변성이란 어떤 변환이 수학적 대상에 작용하였을 때 특정한 양이나 속성이 변하지 않는 특성이다. 학교수학의 곳곳에서 수학적 불변성이 내재된 내용을 찾아볼 수 있는데, 이를 어떻게 다루느냐에 따라 교사의 가르치는 방법이 달라질 것으로 기대할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 학교수학에서 수학적 불변성의 구체적인 사례를 찾아보고, 수학적 불변성을 염두에 둔 교수-학습 방안(Mathematical Invariance Based Learning, MIBL)을 제안한 뒤 그 의의를 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 학교수학의 내용을 수학적 불변성의 측면에서 재조명하였고, MIBL의 필요조건으로서 수학적 불변성의 가치를 제고할 수 있었다. Mathematical invariance is a characteristic in which a particular quantity or property does not change when a transformation is applied to a mathematical object. The mathematical invariance can be found in many places in school mathematics. Depending on how we deal with it, we can expect that the way teachers teach will be different. In this study, we searched for concrete examples of mathematical invariance in school mathematics, and proposed a teaching-learning method with mathematical invariance in mind(Mathematical Invariance Based Learning, MIBL), looked at its educational significance. Through this, the contents of school mathematics were reexamined in terms of mathematical invariance, and the value of mathematical invariance was raised as a requirement of MIBL.
Nacl 3wt% 수용액에서 혼합가스 하이드레이트의 상평형에 대한 연구

Natural gas hydrate is a special kind of inclusion compound that can be formed by capturing gas molecules to water lattice in high pressure and low temperature conditions. 1 ㎥ water can store up to 216 methane gas in the form of hydrate. Such large volume of the hydrate can be utilized to store and transport large quantity of natural gas in a stable condition. In this study, three-phase equilibrium conditions for forming natural gas hydrate were theoretically obtained in aqueous single electrolyte solution containing 3wt% Nacl. The results show that help gases such as ethan, propane, i-butane, and n-butane reduce the hydrate formation pressure at the same temperature.
체험과 활동 중심의 중학교 자유학기제 수학 프로그램 개발

2017학년도부터 중학교 자유학기제가 전면적으로 실시되고 있다. 이에 따라 자유학기제의 취지에 부합하는 교육 프로그램에 대한 수요 또한 증가하고 있다. 그러나 자유학기제를 염두에 둔 수학교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용은 아직 충분하지 않은 듯하다. 본 연구에서는 중학교 자유학기제 프로그램으로 활용할 수 있는 체험과 활동 중심의 수학 프로그램을 개발함으로써 중학교 자유학기제의 현장 정착에 기여하고자 한다. The free semester has been implemented in the middle school since the school year 2017. However we need various educational programs to support the free semester, those programs are not enough yet. In this paper we develop activity oriented mathematics programs for middle school students in free semester and contribute to the settlement of the policy of the free semester.

When referred to standard conditions, 1m³ solid hydrates contain up to 172Nm³ of methane gas, depending on the pressure and temperature of production, Such large volumes make natural gas hydrates can be used to store and transport natural gas. In this study, three-phase equilibrium conditions for forming methane hydrate were theoretically obtained in aqueous single electrolyte solution containing 3wt% Nacl. The results show that Nacl acts as a inhibitor, but help gases such as ethan, propane, i-butane, and n-butane reduce the hydrate formation pressure at the same temperature.
초등학교 수학에서의 넓이 지도 내용에 대한 공리적 해석

본고에서는 도형의 넓이에 대한 정의 및 그 속에 내재된 공리와 그 의미를 고찰하고, 이들 공리의 관점에서 초등학교 수학에서의 넓이 지도 내용을 해석하였다. 이를 통해 현행 초등학교 수학에서의 넓이 지도 내용이 넓이 공리의 관점에서 볼 때 넓이 개념의 여러 측면 중 어떤 측면에 초점을 두고 있고 어떤 측면이 소홀히 다루어지고 있는지 살펴보았다. 이에 따르면 현행 초등학교 수학의 넓이 지도에서는 넓이의 합동 불변성과 가법성을 이용한 넓이의 직접 비교 관련 내용이 수치화를 통한 넓이의 간접비교에 비해 그 비중이 작으며, 전체적으로 단위넓이 및 이를 이용한 넓이의 간접 비교가 넓이 지도 내용의 핵심을 이루는 것으로 나타났다. In this paper we review an axiomatic definition of the area of plane figures with area axioms, discuss what the area axioms mean, and analyze the contents about the area of plane figures in elementary school mathematics from the view point of area axioms. So we evaluate which aspects of the concept of area are emphasized or deemphasized in the current elementary school mathematics textbook.
