This paper is about the improvement of the announcement at the shop, by using diverse sound effects. The experiments of sound effects are conducted by using original sound, reverberation, voice modulation and echo. The test which is about awareness of announcement contains recognition and content recognition. Environments of experiments are three types: general place, a place surrounded by partition, and an environment of partitions with sound absorption material. By the result of experiments, we have got the conclusion that the reverberation is more effective if not an environment of partition reflecting sound. Also, for both human voice and TTS sound as original sound, TTS sound got higher percent of awareness on all occasions.
