Research on the development of CNG dedicated en dine that has important meaning both as a clean fuel and an alterna-tive energy to reduce the exhaust emission horn diesel engine are actively going on these days. In this study, in order to present the direction and application of CNG engine, we tested the CNG engine performance experimented by changing the parameters such as ignition timing, equivalent ratio. The engine performance and exhaust emission were measured by engine performance mode at maximum load condition with increasing the rpm in the range of 1,000∼2,200rpm. Also, the testing engine was heavy-duty CNG dedicated engines with displacement of 11,050cc.

Recently, increasing usage of diesel vehicle, many countries try to reduce the pollutant materials by emission regulation standard. Particularly, in our country, the supplement ratio of diesel vehicle is high, and air pollution by vehicle exhaust gas is very serious. So, in study, we tested exhaust gas by various mode in light duty diesel engine. Therefore, we can know about NOx and smoke seriousness.
여성 요실금에서 Kontinence™와 Compact Elite™의 치료효과 비교

Biofeedback and pelvic floor electrical stimulation are new modalities that have been advocated for the treatment of female urinary incontinence. The aim of this study was to compare prospectively the therapeutic effect of Kontinence™(HMT Co., Korea) with Compact Elite™(ECL Co., France) in female urinary incontinence. All patients were evaluated with a complete history, physical examination, urinalysis, urine culture and urodynamic study. Eighteen patients were treated with Compact Elite™, and thirteen patients with Kontinence™. Enrolled patients had completed 8 office sessions consisting of biofeedback and intravaginal electrical stimulation according to the program of each machines. Overall treatment response was graded by patients on a scale of complete cure to aggravation. At two weeks after last session, overall improvement rate was 78% in Compact Elite™group and 92% in Kontinence™group(p>0.05). Overall patients' acceptability during treatment course was greater than 80% in both machines(p>0.05). There were no unexpected clinical findings during Kontinence™ treatment. After Kontinence™treatment, there were no laboratory changes including electrocardiography, complete blood count, liver function profile, and chest PA. These results showed that the biofeedback and electrical stimulation with Kontinence™was safe and moderately effective for female urinary incontinence comparable to Compact Elite™. However, long-term results of a larger patients are needed to ensure the therapeutic effect of Kontinence™.

With the increased use of lasers in industrial welding applications, techniques for monitoring and controlling these processes become increasingly important. It is very important that we understand the dynamic behaviors of the laser induced plume in welding because the laser induced plume has considerable effects on welding efficiency and the quality of materials. As the plume fluctuation was associated with keyhole instability, unstable vapor plume indicated the process was unstable and would result in poor welds. An Infrared Themal-vision Camera can be utilized compensate for incurracies encountered in real-time monitoring during laser welding. We have results that instabilities of plume are closely dated with hot cracking and defect of laser welding.

With the significant growth of the number of vehicles, environmental problems is raised. NOx, SOx, and PM emissions in diesel powered vehicles are larger than that in gasoline, because the development of pollutants reduction techniques has no: been yet achieved. So it is need to develop after-treatment or to convert into alternative fuel to satisfy emission regula-tion. Among the after-treatment systems to reduce the diesel emissions, studies with diesel oxidation catalyst(DOC) are done greatly. In this study using DOC, reduction efficiency with the change of temperature and catalyst loading was calculated through measurements of CO, HC, PM, and SOx.
절삭유와 유기용매에 혼합 폭로된 근로자의 피부질환에 관한조사

Cutting oils denature keratin, defat the skin and remove water from it, causing dryness, fissures and frank eczematization. Solvents remove the surface lipid film. Therefore the skin barrier is weakened and the absorption of irritant substances are increased. Saturated hydrocarbons from the solvent and paraffin series are stronger irritant than those from the aromatic series. To evaluate the health effects on skin among cutting oil and solvent exposed workers, self-administrative questionnaire survey was performed on 72 exposed workers and 91 non-exposed workers. The dermatologic examination and patch test were performed on the workers with suspected skin diseases. The results are summarized as follows ; The prevalences of some dermatologic disorders, such as primary irritant dermatitis, dyshidrotic eczema, allergic contact dermatitis and folliculitis were significantly higher among exposed group than non-exposed group(P<0.05). The positive rate of patch test among 16 workers were 6.3% for cutting oil, 18.8% for old solvent, 18.8% for new solventⅠ and 6.3% for new solvent Ⅱ. These results suggest that cutting oil and solvent may be a cause of occupational dermatoses among exposed workers.

Comparing Bioavailability of Cadmium and Arsenic in Agricultural Soil Under Varied pH Condition

Bioavailability of cadmium (Cd) and arsenic (As) can be different depending on soil pH. For this reason, main purpose of this research was to compare bioavailability of Cd and As in agricultural field under varied soil pH and different extractants. Bioavailable fraction of Cd and As in soil was extracted with $CaCl_2$, $NaNO_3$, DTPA, EDTA, and low molecular weight organic acids (LMWOAs). Soil samples and cultivated crops were collected at the range of soil pH 4.5-8.5 and correlation analysis was conducted between bioavailable fraction of Cd and As in soil and total concentration of Cd and As in crops. Results showed that concentration of Cd and As in acidic soil was ranged $0.002-0.462mg\;kg^{-1}$ and $0.041-4.903mg\;kg^{-1}$ respectively. In alkaline condition, concentration of Cd and As were ranged $0.006-0.351mg\;kg^{-1}$ and $0.039-2.807mg\;kg^{-1}$ respectively. Comparing bioavailable fraction of Cd and As in acidic and alkaline soil condition, higher concentration was measured in acidic condition. Similarly, higher average concentration of Cd and Asin crops was observed in acidic condition (0.398 and $0.751mg\;kg^{-1}$ respectively) than alkaline condition (0.248 and $0.264mg\;kg^{-1}$). Among different extractants, LMWOAs method showed higher correlation ($r^2=0.545$) for Cd in acidic condition indicating that LMWOAs method could be applied for evaluating bioavailability of Cd in acidic soil. However, no high correlation was observed for As in both acidic and alkaline condition. Overall, bioavailable fraction of Cd and As can be higher in acidic condition of soil than alkaline condition resulting higher uptake of Cd and As from soil to crops. Therefore, efficient best management practice (BMPs) for Cd and As in acidic soil should be conducted for minimizing uptake of Cd and As into crops.
이산대수문제에 기반한 그룹 비밀키 분배 및 갱신프로토콜

본 논문에서는 ID 보안 기술에 기반을 둔 디지털서명, 키분배 기법을 이용하여 그룹 비밀키의 분배와 갱신을 위한 효율적인 프로토콜을 제안한다. 제안된 프로토콜의 안전성은 이산대수 어려움에 근거하고 있으며 단말기의 저장능력과 처리의 능력이 적을 경우도 적절하게 운영될 수 있고, 그룹 내에서 제외하고자하는 통화자가 동시에 여러 명일 경우에도 적용할 수 있다. 또한 통화자의 변동 없이 그룹 비밀키를 변경하고자 하는 경우에도 용이하게 키를 갱신할 수 있도록 설계되었다
