수소첨가 CNG연료의 연소 및 배출 가스 특성에 관한 실험적 연구

Searching for environmentally friendly fuel is the main issue for the future internal combustion engines. HCNG(Hydrogen-Methane) as a fuel is now considered as one of the alternative fuels due to its low pollutant emissions and high burning rate. An experimental study was carried out to obtain the fundamental data about the combustion and emission characteristics of pre-mixed hydrogen and methane in a Constant Volume Chamber(CVC) with various fractions of hydrogen-methane blends. A pre-mixed chamber was used to obtain a good mixture of the above gas. Exhaust emissions were measured using Horiba exhaust gas analyzer, for various fraction of hydrogen-methane blends. The results showed that the rapid combustion duration was shortened and rate of heat release increases as hydrogen fraction in blended fuel ratio was increased. Moreover, the maximum mean gas temperature and mamimum pressure ratio have increased. These phenomena were attributed to the burning velocity which increases exponentially with the increase of hydrogen fraction in blended fuels. Exhaust HC and CO2 concentration decreased while NOx emission increased with the increase of the hydrogen fraction in blended fuels. The information from this experiment will be useful in the application of hydrogen along with Methane as a fuel to internal combustion engines.

The mechanical parts of small wind power generator less than 10 ㎾ are manufactured in the form of removing most of the accelerators. The braking system to protect blade from damages caused by high wind speed is manufactured in a manner having apparatus system(furling), manual brake or no brake. This study is on braking system in small size wind power generator, and carried out survey as following steps by applying electric braking system which uses armature reaction. We explained the principle of electric braking system and the principle of existing braking system. Also, this paper interpreted short circui tcurrent through open circuit and short circuit, as well as checking brake system's action using armature reaction with real construction of control device.

Many diesel engine manufactures make an efforts to reduce NOx and PM emissions exhausted from engines under pressure. Also, it has been required to comply with new stringent emission standards while improving engine efficiencies. To overcome these problems, a clear understanding of phenomena of spray combustion and emission formation process will be a key issue in an internal combustion engine. This study concluded that the oxygen-enriched and EGR might be a good measure to reduce smoke, PM and NOx in diesel engine.<br/> Therefore, through this research the interrelation among parameters were intensively investigated and evaluated quantitatively, and proposed direction in design for heavy diesel engine with Cooled-EGR and Oxygen-enriched system. Furthermore, tins research has bee made efforts to accomplish the regulation on emission for heavy duty diesel engine.<br/>
