The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between nutrition knowledge, the eating habits, food preference and anthropometric data. Three hundred thirty five childrens, who were sampled from the 6th grade students of primary school located in Taegu. The survey was conducted from December 12, to December 13, 1994 by questionnaires which was composed of nutrition knowledge test, nutrition attitude test and food preference test. The results of this study are summerized as follows : Nutrition knowledge score of BMI 3 and BMI 4 group was higher than other groups, which had no difference in BMI groups, Nutrition attitude score of male group was higher than that of female group. Nutrition between nutrition knowledge score and BMI groups were found to be negatively related. Food preference for mackerel, onion, spinach(P<0.001), lettuce, mushroom, chocolate, icecream(p<0.005), and chicken, egg, dried anchovy(p<0.05) were related significantly related in BMI groups.

초등학교 학생을 대상으로 실과교과의 식생활 영역의 교과내용을 가정생활에서 얼마나 활용하고 있는지 알아보고, 학습내용의 성취도가 실천도와 어떠한 관계가 있는지, 그리고 실과 내용의 실천도에 환경변인들이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아봄으로써 앞으로의 실과교육에 도움이 되는 자료를 활용하고자 한다.
초등학교 아동의 행동성향과 영양지식이 식행동에 미치는 영향

초등학교 남녀 아동이 그들의 행동성향과 영양 교육에 의해 습득된 영양 지식 정도가 식행동에 어떤 관련이 있는지 알아보고가 대구시내 몇몇 초등학교 6학년 아동 363명을 대상으로, 설문지를 통해 행동성향, 영양지식, 여러 식행동 항목들을 조사하였다. 그 결과 성별에 따라서는 채소·과일의 섭취가 가장 유의적이었고(P<.001), 행동성향별로는 식사의 규칙성, 아침식사의 섭취, 평소식사의 섭취량, 김치의 섭취량, 편식의 정도 등에서 유의성을 보였으며(P<.001), 영양지식정도에 따라서는 식사의 규칙성, 아침식사의 섭취, 저녁식사의 섭취, 김치의 섭취량 등에서 유의성이 크게 나타났다(P<.001).

여자 대학생을 대상으로 체중 조절에 대한 관심도와 그에 따른 섭식 태도에 관하여 조사해 본 결과 자신의 체위에 대하여 크게 불만족하다고 답하였고 체중조절에 대한 관심도도 높았으며, 체중조절의 시도방법은 식사량 조절을 택하는 경우가 다른 여러 가지 방법보다 높게 나타났다. 식행동에 있어서 식사의 목적은 식사의 즐거움에 가장 큰 비중을 두었고, 하루 중 가장 충실한 식사는 저녁식사로, 간식의 섭취는 시험기간이나 즐거울 때 섭취증가의 경향을 보였다.

This paper was intended to explain the reason for obesity among middle aged women. For this survey, 247 middle aged women(mean age:49±9 years old, body index: 113.8 ±13.2) inclusive of 59 obese and 308 unmarried women (mean age: 22±3 years old, body index: 97.8±10.3) were asked to questionnaire about their consciousness toward prevelence of obesity. The results are as follows. (1) Most of the obese women established presume the ideal body weight and the limit of obesity at levels higher than those generally accepted, but then the desire for leaness in unmarried women was higher than that in middle aged women. (2) The middle aged women and unmarried women regarded obesity as related to causing diseases but about 10 of the obese women regarded obesity as unmarried to health. (3) In relation to human obesity, about 30% of the obese women thought obesity as an age-dependent physiological phenomenon. (4) The middle aged women and unmarried women tended to select that reduced energy and exercise were needed in preventive on obesity, but significant differences were not observed. (5) Generally, score of high calorie-yielding foods was lower than that of low calorie-yielding foods. The middle aged women had insufficient knowledge on the energy value of foods compared with unmarried women.

초등학교 학생의 바람직한 식습관 지도를 위한 기초자료를 활용하기 위해 식습관에 영향을 미치는 여러 요인중 성별, 형제수, 어머니 직업, 생활정도, 동거가족여부 등 가정환경요인을 중심으로 아침, 저녁식사의 규칙성과 내용, 간식의 회수와 내용, 음식의 선택기준, 전통음식과 외래음식의 선호도를 조사한 내용이다.
國民學校 實科 敎科書 內容 分析 : 生活技能 領域을 中心으로 Focused on Living Skill Parts

In this paper, the subject of living skill parts in the present practical course textbooks of 4th, 5th and 6th grades in primary school was analyzed and examined for the teaching of the course and refinement of the tecxtbooks reasonably. Present status of teaching the course was inquired, and the obstruction factors in the teaching of the course was found. To consider the counterplan, the practical situation for the teaching was also examined in the four parts of areas in Taegu city and Kyungbuk province, and the results were four as follows : 1) Teaching of the practical course to be practised at the outside of class-room mainly was taken in the classroom almost every class. 2) Practical Activities were not accomplished enough for the reason of facility and teaching material lack for the reasonable teaching. 3) The countents of the texts were not reasonable for the situation of the areas and for the students, level at class. 4) Aministractive assistauce should be needed more for the effective teaching, and needs of the learning hours and excellent teacher for the class should be considered sooner. 5) It was strongly suggested that the teachers for the class should have enthusiasm and devotion for the class and skill for the practice.
