        무릎관절 통증 환자에서 멀리건 관절가동술과 맥켄지 운동이 통증과, 균형, 관절가동범위에 미치는 영향

        Background: This study aimed to compare the effects of the Mulligan mobilization with movement and McKenzie exercise after applying conservative physical therapy to patients with knee pain. Methods: Patients were randomly allocatied into two groups: the Mulligan mobilization with movement (10 subjects) and the McKenzie technique (10 subjects). Each group was givenr conservative physical therapy and manual therapy sessions, three times week, for four weeks. The pain intensity was measured using the visual analogue scale (VAS). The cervical range of motion (ROM) was measured with a goniometer. Balance was measured using the modified Berg balance scale (BBS). Results: After four weeks of therapy, VAS (p<.05) decreased significantly, and ROM and balance increased siginficantly in both groups(p<.05). There was a significant improvement in knee extension (p<.05) in the McKenzie group compared to the Mulligan group. No intergroup differences were found with respect to the knee flex, VAS, and BBS (p>.05). Conclusion: The McKenzie exercises are more effective than Mulligan mobilization with movement for improving knee extension. Both interventions have the same effects on pain relief, in increasing knee flexion ROM and improving balance in patients with knee pain.

      • 철-알루미늄 합금의 내식성에 미치는 Boron첨가의 영향

        The effects of boron addition on the grain size, hardness and corrosion resistance of two aluminum alloys, Fe-15 wt% Al and Fe-17 wt% Al, were investigated. 1. The average size of grains decreased in case of boron addition to both iron aluminum alloys. 2. Vickers hardness number was low either in Al rich alloy or in the alloys with boron addition. 3. Breakdown potential and repassivation potential observed from cyclic potentiodynamic polarization test curves became higher in Al rich alloy and in the alloys with boron addition. 4. The values of corrosion potential were low in Al rich alloy and high in case of boron addition.

      • 高티타늄슬랙에서의 不純物의 擧動

        In the reduction and smelting of ilmenite which contains impurities(Fe, V, Cr,Mn, Si, Mg, Ca and Al etc.), the possibilities of titanium slag refining were investigated and tested on the basis of thermodynamic and electrochemical data. Results are summarized as follows : 1. The electrochemical behavior of impurities in the high titanium slag was in great detail investigated. 2. The behavior of impurities could be tested through the phase changes of ilmenite and phase deagram. 3. It was possible that the skillful technique of refining ilmenite could be established theoretically. 4. The energy consumption could be calculated with the aid of thermodynamic data.

      • 주철조직중 흑연거동에 미치는 기포발생처리의 영향

        The process of graphite formation in solid state was observed after the graphitization heat treatment of the white cast irons artificially made to contain pores or CaO inclusion by means of the additions of Se, gas bubble formation agents or CaO, a compound of oxygen in the hypoeutectic cast iron melts. The process of graphite formation in liquid state was examined after the additions of MmH_2 or Kl in the hypereutectic cast iron melts and cooling either slowly or rapidly. The influences of the amount of MmH_2 addition, different holding times after the additions and different S amount in the melts were also investigated. According to the results obtained, the mechanism of spheroidal graphite formation was studied in the view of the gas bubble theory. The results obtained in this work were as follows: 1. in the case of the graphitization heat treatment of the white cast irons under Se, CaCO_3 additions, temper carbon was preferentially precipitated on the remaining gas pores, but with only CaO addition, little graphite was formed on the CaO inclusion in the samples. From the results the behavior of graphite in solid state was preferred at the defects such as the remained pores in cast iron. 2. In the case of the addition of 0.5wt% MmH_2, a gas bubble formation agent, to the hypereutectic melts with 0.015 and 0.030wt% S, there appeared an increase in the count of spheroidal graphite, the rate of graphite formation and the time for spheroidal graphite to remain in the melts with 0.015wt% S rather than 0.030wt% S. 3. In Kl addition to the hypereutectic melts with 0.030wt% S spheroidal graphite was made when cooling the sample rapidly, but flake graphite was made when cooling slowly. These results were in accordance with the view of the gas bubble theory.

        The purpose of this paper goes this; It is to find out the process of the educational punishment completion, to distinguish education from the educational punishment and to look for what kinds of existing system based upon the educational punishment system. The results from this paper go these: 1. In these days, if becomes important to distinguish punishments in according to the kind of punishment and the quality of it in order to personalize it and socialize the criminals. 2. The thought of the educational punishment is that people believe the nature of punishment is education. 3. The thought of the educational punishment aims at improvement the criminal's nature by education. 4. But only the education of the criminals is not sufficient for making them socialize and therefore there must be nation's systematic quarantee and it is necessary for nation to control the social environments. 5. In our country among the educational punishment systems, there are a stay of sentence system, probation system, parole system, amercement system, an indeterminate sentence system, disposal of maintenance of public security system, a stay of prosecution. 6. According to the essence of the punishment, there has been two trends, "The punishment is a nemesis," and "The punishment is an education". Nowadays, it has been impossible for us to seek the value and the meaning of the punishment without understanding the essence of it as an education. The theory that believes the essence of the punishment as an education is Liepmann's "Theory of the educational punishment". 7. The theory of the educational punishment is a basic theory which lays the importance for the prevention of the future crime.

      • 슬랙내에서 금속입자의 전기속도론적 연구

        D.C.-arc furnaces as a new smelting aggregate are used for the production of Fe and ferro-alloys. To obtain a fuller understanding of electrophoretic phenomena occuring in slag phase during the smelting process, electrophoresis data in slag phase are reviewed and dicussed, and the results obtained in the titanium slag are presented. The discussion is extened to the determination of metal drop velocity in the arc smelting process. Also, the theoretical comparision for the determination of iron drop velocity in the above mentioned titanium slag is described.
