The frequency of Judo player's using techniques by weight was investigated. The subjects of this study were devided into 3 groups. First group is composed 154 males who were participated in the World Judo Championship (1985). Second is 600 males who were participated in the elimination match for the representative of the Asian Games (1986). Third is 55 males who were participated in the 10th Asian Games (1986). The frequency in using techiques of these 3 groups was compared and analyzed. The results were as follows : The score distribution of each game shown that a score rate of ippon is higher than the old games. It means that the players play not a passive game but a more active and violent game by using a big motion skill. Also, katame-waza had an important effect on a final consequence with tachi-waza, then it required a concentrative study and an intensive train. And it was showed up that sukui-naga was great used in international games than internal and Asian games. a) Extra Light Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of ippon-seoi-nage, okuri-ashi-barai and tomeo-nage. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, ko-uchi-gari, osoto-gari, uchi-mata and kami-shiho-gatame. In the Asizn games, it was used in order of uchi-mata, seoi-nage and tai-otoshi. b) Half Light Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, o-uchi-gari, ko-uchi-gari and sukui-nage. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, ko-uchi-gari, kami-shiho-gatame.and uchi-mate. In the Asian games, it was used in order of seoi-nage and okuri-eri-jime. c) Light Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, tai-otoshi, sukui-nage, hon-keas-gateme and kosoto-gari. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, ko-uchi-gari, uchi-mate, okuri-ashi-barai and kami-shiho-gatame. In the Asian games, it was used in order of seoi-nage and okuri-ashi-barai. d) half Middle Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, o-uchi-gari, uchi-mata, sukui-nage, o-soto-gari and kosoto-gari. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, ko-uchi-gari, uchi-mata, tai-ototshi and o-soto-gari. In the Asian Games, it was used in order of o-soto-gari, hon-keas-gatame and seoi-nage. e) Middle Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of ippon-seoi-nage, uchi-mata, kosoto-gari, o-soto-gari and sasac-tsurikomi-ashi. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, kami-shiho-gatame, sukui-nage, o-soto-gari and ko-uchi-gari. In the Asian Games, it was used in order of uchi-mata and o-soto-gari. f) Half heavy Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of uchi-mata, seoi-nage, tai-otoshi, sukui-naga and de-asni-barai. In the internal games, it was used in order of seoi-nage, okuri-ashi-barai, ko-uchi-gari and o-soto-gari. In the Asian games, it was used in order of uchi-mata and kosota-gake. g) Heavy Weight Games In the international games, it was used in order of hon-kesa-gatane, yoto-guruma and kosoto-gari. In the internal games, it was used in order of uchi-mata, kami-shiho-gatame, seoi-nage, soto-makikomi and o-uchi-gari. In the Asian Games, it was used in order of tai-otoshi, uchi-mata, soto-makikomi and hon-kesa-gatame.

‘가구업계의 도요타가 되겠다’와 ‘침대는 가구가 아닙니다. 과학입니다’의 엇갈린 운명

The purpose of this study is to compare the mixed fates of ‘To be a toyota in the furniture industry’ and ‘The bed is not furniture, it’s science’. I want to find out how the leading companies in the furniture industry and bed industry in Korea have reached today. In other words, I want to compare the management strategies of BIF(Borneo International Furniture Co) and Ace Bed. First, let’s take a look at the growth and decline of BIF, which was ranked first in the evaluation of domestic furniture brands in Korea furniture brand evaluation. From 1962 to 1988, after listing the stock market and entering court administration in 1991, I will examine the path that BIF have followed and draw up the problems. Next I take a look at the successful growth of Ace Bed with the slogan is ‘The bed is not furniture, it’s science.’ Since the founding, I would like to find out why it has contributed to growth while maintaining its unique status. The results derived from this process are expected to provide implications for the future development of the Korean furniture industry and bed industry. 본 연구는 ‘가구업계의 도요타가 되겠다’는 보루네오가구와 ‘침대는 가구가 아닙니다. 과학입니다’라는 광고를 앞세운 에이스침대의 성공과 실패를 비교하는데 목적이 있다. 우리나라 가구산업과 침대산업의 대표적인 기업이 어떤 과정을 거쳐서 오늘날에 이르렀는지를 파악하고자 하는 것이다. 즉 보루네오가구와 에이스침대가 구사한 경영전략을 비교하려는 것이다. 우선 국내 가구브랜드 평가에서 1위를 지켜온 보루네오가구의 성장과 쇠퇴과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 1962년부터 1988년 주식시장 상장 후 1991년 법정관리에 들어갈 때까지 보루네오 가구가 걸어온 길을 살펴보고 문제점을 도출하고자 한다. 이 기간까지만 살펴보는 것은 이 기간 이후는 경영권분쟁에 휘말리면서 실질적인 가구산업의 역할을 다하지 못했다고 판단하기 때문이다. 다음은 ‘침대는 가구가 아닙니다. 과학입니다’라는 슬로건을 내걸고 성공한 에이스침대의 성장과정을 살펴보고자 한다. 창업 이후 현재까지 꾸준히 독보적인 지위를 지키면서 성장하는데 기여한 이유를 찾아보고자 한다. 이 과정에서 도출된 결과들은 향후 우리나라 가구산업과 침대산업의 발전에 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.

전환사채 발행기업의 재무적 특성 및 발행동기에 대한 연구

전환사채에 대한 연구는 전환사채의 가치와 최적상환정책에 대한 연구, 기업의 재무의사결정에 있어서 전환사채의 역할 및 기능, 그리고 전환사채의 발행이 주식가격에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 중점이 주어져 왔다. 전환사채의 가격 결정 모형에 대한 연구와 전환사채발행이 주식가격에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 많지만, 전환사채를 발행한 기업의 재무적 특성과 발행동기에 대한 연구는 상대적으로 적다. 본 연구는 이러한 점에 착안하여 1987년 이후 발행이 증가하고 있는 국내전환사채를 연구대상으로, 전환사채 발행기업과 전환사채 비발행기업의 재무비율을 변수로 선택하여 전환사채를 발행한 기업의 재무적 특성을 분석한다. 그리고 기업들이 실제로 어떤 동기에서 전환사채를 발행하고 있는가를 설문조사를 이용하여 살펴본다.

금융위기 상황에서 내재변동성의 유용성에 관한 연구

In order to develop sound judgement, risk managers need to understand how markets behave during financial crises. This paper provides the overview how stock index return implied volatilities could evolve during financial crises focusing on the usefulness of implied volatility as the warning signal index.The results of empirical study on the usefulness of implied volatility during financial crises are as following. First, implied volatility of put option was significantly related to stock index volatility.Second, we conducted Granger causality tests in order to confirm the null hypothesis that implied volatility Granger-cause, that is systematically precedes large magnitude returns. We found that implied volatility of put option Granger-cause.Third, we checked the usefulness implied volatility during financial crises by contingency table analysis. The hypothesis that implied volatility would have no signalling value for large-magnitude returns couldn't be rejected.Fourth, the large-magnitude returns often occur when option market shows the high implied volatility in case of put option.From above results, when option market shows the high implied volatility of put option risk managers should be careful in its' volatilities. 본 연구는 콜옵션 또는 풋옵션의 내재변동성이 주식시장에서 발생하는 금융위기상황을 알려줄 수 있는 경고신호의 역할을 할 수 있는지를 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다.첫째, 금융위기 상황에 대한 경고신호지수로서 내재변동성의 유용성을 분석하기 위해 사전적으로 주가변동성과 내재변동성의 Granger 인과관계 검정을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 풋옵션 내재변동성이 주가변동성을 Granger 코오즈하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.둘째, 금융위기 상황의 경고신호지수의 대안으로 내재변동성의 유용성을 조사한 결과, 콜옵션 및 풋옵션의 내재변동성이 경고신호지수로 유의하지는 않았다. 그러나 금융위기 상황이 심각할수록 풋옵션 내재변동성이 높아지는 현상을 발견할 수 있었다.위의 연구가 시장참여자의 위험관리에 줄 수 있는 시사점은 비정상적으로 높은 내재변동성이 관측될 경우, 금융위기 상황이 발생할 가능성이 높다는 점을 인식하고 이에 대한 준비를 철저히 해야 한다는 점이다.
