This study examined the influence of mother's mentalization facilitation on mother - child relationships characterized by insecure attachment and changes after treatment. For this purpose, 49 sessions of play therapy were conducted once a week for infants(children) with disorganized attachment types, and then 39 sessions of personal counseling for mothers were conducted once a week. The change in regards to attachment on the mother-child relationship was analyzed after the change in the mother's mentalization and children 's play. The main results of this study are as follows. First, the mother's mentalization facilitation was helpful in eliciting reliable responses to children by making it possible to predict the behaviors of mothers and others (children and husbands) in unstable situations through the meaningful behavior of people through attribution of insightful thoughts and emotions. Second, the mother's mentalization facilitation promoted stable attachment in relation to the child and provided a basis for sensitive reactions to the child. Third, the mother's mentalization facilitation promoted the communication of the child 's tacit and non-verbal desires and emotions in language by recognizing the child' s psychological state. Fourth, through the mother's mentalization facilitation, the mother’s ability to react with sensitivity to the child was increased and a stable mother-child relationship was formed. As a result of the promotion of the mother's mentalization facilitation and the child's play therapy, sleeping problems, which are a major problem for children, were resolved and unstable attachment behaviors such as crying, explosions of anger, and clinging, etc. were mitigated. In addition children reported stable exploration of the environment, expansion of cognitive, emotional, and social abilities, and changes that formed meaningful relationships. Based on these results, limitations and future proposals were discussed.

Sodium arsenite ($NaAsO_2$) was injected to the rat subcutaneously for the study of the acute toxicity of arsenite on hepatocytes, and the effects of pretreatment of arsenite and glutathione on the lethalty of the arsenite treated rats. Arsenite treated rat hepatocytes showed vacuolated cytosol and shrinked nuclear and expanded perinuclear space and cytoplasmic membrane whirl. Rats pretreated with BSO (L-Buthionine-SR-Sulfoximine), less survived than arsenite treated alone. It means that glutathione acts as a protecting agent against the arsenite. Subcutaneous sublethal dose (10mg/kg body weight) treatment was showed the protecting activity to lethality of lethal dose (15mg/kg body weight) treated rat. 10mg/kg body weight sublethal dose effects appeared in six hours intervals of between treatments.

A mountain is an object of primitive intuition and starting point of imagination for a poet Pak Doo-jin. Memories of mountains in the poet`s hometown must have been a catalyst that stimulated his poetic imagination, providing numerous images that harbored essential meanings for him. The research examines how the poet`s experience of the hometown mountains during the childhood years formed poetic elements and how the elements were visualized in his poem. The research also examines what the poet pursued through images of mountain, and attempts to illuminate root of the poet`s consciousness and his world of poem-writing, centered on the symbol of mountains that are present in his poem on nature. Hyesan`s (pen name of Pak Doo-jin) poem departs from images of a mountain. Mountain Cheongryong, buds of arrowroot, bushy young pine trees (Dabaksol) and windflowers on the village hills and sound of mountain birds filled the young poet`s heart with delight. The poet was inspired by the mountain and visualized themes of poem through objects he found in mountains. In Hyesan`s poem, a mountain stands for the whole world of living things, a space charged with primitive force of time as well as the poet`s aspiration. These represent a different kind of principle of life and resistance from Jeong Ji-yong, Pak Mok-wol or Cho Ji-hoon who portrayed the nature with sad and sensual feeling, as a peach blossom heaven, as symbol of linearity and calm, respectively. Pak Doo-jin`s symbolism instilled his poem with vital feelings. Pak Doo-jin perceived the nature as a symbolic being that materialized ultimate relationship between the mankind and the god, eternal life and salvation, embodied principles of life, and the poet verbalized his perception with metaphors and symbols. However, for the poet, nature provided materials to visualize his understanding of the world, and the nature itself was not a main theme of his poem. His poem is significant in that its bright and powerful symbol of mountain evoked masculine spirit and deepened religious faith in the history of Korean modern poetry.
