      • 住岩댐 建設에 따른 寶城郡 地域의 生態系 變化 硏究 : 生活環境을 中心으로 Based on the Life Environment

        In order to study on the change of ecosystem after the construction of Juam dam in Posung-gun, life environment was investigated the soil and water pollution and the physical component of refuse from May 1992 to 1993. The pH of soil was about 6.06. The water quality of the past and that of the present in the upper stream of Posung reservior were all 2nd grade in water quality criteria, and the present trophic state of Posung reservior was eutrophic. The loading of BOD, SS, T-N and T-P due to the pont and the nonpoint source were about 16t/day, 58t/day, 3.5t/day and 1.3t/day, respectively. The compositions of the moisture content, the combustible component and the ignition residue in refuse were 49%, 40% and 12% in annual average, respectively, and the compositions of the combustible and the noncombustible in physical components of refuse were 81% and 19%, respectively.

        세립자 첨가 활성슬러지에 의한 하수처리

        Experimental studies for the Sewage treatment by activated sludge process added activated carbon and briquette ash were executed, and the obtained results are as follows; 1. As the concentration of activated sludge increases, settling velocity and volume of it obviously decrease and its settling conditions become very poor. 2. Most appropriate sizes of activated carbon and briquette ash added to activated sludge process are 0.1㎜ to 0.15㎜. And each volume of them is about 6g/ℓ. The settling rate of activated sludge increases by the addition of media such as activated carbon or briquette ash, and this tendency is more remarkable when the activated sludge concentration is high. 3. Adding the appropriate particle size and volume of media to activated sludge makes Sewage treatment more effective. Especially, as the media, briquette ash is more economic than activated carbon added to the activated sludge process because the cost of briquette ash is very cheap.

      • 高密度 魚類養殖을 위한 效率的인 循環水 處理씨스템에 관한 硏究

        The purpose of this paper is to development the more effective treatment system of recycling water for the high-density fishfarming. Investigations through analysis of quality for the fishfarming water and the experimental treatment using the designed system with Biological Fluidized Bed(BFB) reactor have been performed for the recycling water in fishfarming. The obtained results showed that water quality in breeding pond was affected by the light cycle and vitalities of fishes and recycle flow range showing the most effective solid removal rates of the settler in system which was designed specially was near of 0.25ℓ/sec. Oxygen transfer rates in the aeration system consistes of four-column tower were in proportion to recycling flow rates of water. And also, the effluent BOD load in biological water treatment system using BFB reactor could be decreased to 65% than other existing water reuse aquaculture system with filter media.

      • 東津江 水系의 汚染原因과 그影響

        In order to investigate the pollution source and its influence at Tongjin river basin in Chonbuk, water quality analysis were undertaken at 9 stations from April to June in 1983 and 1987. The following conculusions were obtained as a result of this investigation. 1. Chongeub chon is the most polluted stream among the branches of Tongjin river basin 2. The portions of Chongju sewage and Chongeub industrial complex wastewater in Chongeub chon are 51% and 29% as BOD basis, respectively. 3. Where Tongjin river waters are storaged by floodgate, eutrophication is expect to occur because the waters contained high concentration of N and P. 4. Thogjin river waters except Chongeub chon are possible to the agricultural and industrial use, but impossible to the source of water supply. 5. Water quality of Tongjin river basin in 1987 is more purified than that in 1983.

      • 全州市 大規模 住宅開發이 三川에 미치는 影響

        A site plan for 16,110 persons and area of 308,569㎡ was planned by Chonju City. This paper is to study the effects of the site development on Sam-cheon. Average water quality of Sam-cheon was BOD_5 46.0㎎/ℓ in Jan. and Feb., which exceeded the class levels of legislated water quality obviously. If the site were developed by plan, amounts of estimated overall sewage, BOD and SS loads to Sam-cheon would be about 2,954 ㎥/day, 702 ㎏ BOD/day and 409 ㎏SS/day respectively. Even if the sewage of developed area is treated through the legislated purification system, BOD concentration of the stream would be 2.2 ㎎/ℓ more than the present by effluent of purification facilities. Therefore, to prevent more degradation of water quality at least, the pollutional regulation of total emission for the stream could be applied to Sam-cheon with a time-limit.
