스포츠 다문화 담론 분석: 프로농구 온라인 커뮤니티를 중심으로

본 연구는 스포츠 온라인 커뮤니티의 게시글과 댓글과 같은 텍스트를 통해 스포츠 다문화 현상에 대한 팬들의 담론이 어떻게 구성되는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 프로농구 팬들의 정보교환 및 소통공간으로 활용되고 있는 온라인 커뮤니티를 선정하여 게시판에 게시된 게시글과 댓글에 대해 해석적 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. 첫째, 스포츠 온라인 커뮤니티 게시판을 통해 스포츠 팬들은 외국인 선수 개인에 관한 내용, 경기 내용 분석, 구단 및 협회의 태도 등에 대한 다양한 의견을 제시하였고, 외국인 선수에 대한 쟁점을 이슈화시키는 모습을 나타냈다. 특히 벤슨과 윌리엄스의 사례는 다수의 게시글과 댓글, 높은 조회수를 고려할 때 스포츠 다문화 현상에 대한 스포츠 팬들의 높은 관심을 반영하는 결과로 볼 수 있다. 둘째, 프로스포츠의 인종적, 민족적 다양화 현상의 바탕이 되는 외국인 선수제도가 스포츠 팬들에게 중요한 주제로 다루어졌다. 특히 5명의 선수가 경기하는 프로농구에서 외국인 선수의 영향력이 크기 때문에 자민족중심주의를 벗어나 프로농구의 발전을 위한 외국인 선수제도 개선을 요구하는 의견을 나타내었다. 셋째, 스포츠 온라인 커뮤니티 게시판의 게시글과 댓글들은 대부분 외국인 선수들을 개방적으로 수용하는 태도를 보였다. 타인종이나 타민족에 대한 편견이나 차별보다는 하나의 선수로서 그들의 이미지와 상품성을 존중하는 의견이 다수 제시됨으로써 스포츠 팬들이 스포츠 다문화주의 현상에 대한 포용성이 높아질 수 있는 가능성을 드러내었다. The purpose of this study is to examine the racism and multiculturalism about foreign players in professional sports league by analyzing the texts of internet boards in sports on-line community. The texts and replies of internet board which are produced by sports fans about Korean professional baseball league were analyzed with the interpretative textual analysis. The results of this study are as follows. The texts were mostly focused on foreign players’ position and conditions. Sports fans communicated about foreign players and their issues on internet board as public sphere. Also, most comments described the system of foreign players’employments. As the influence of foreign players in Korean basketball league was increased, the interest of its institutional improvement was more demanding. While there were discrimination against nationality and ethnicity and foreign players were not treated equally with Korean players, sports fans showed their welcoming culture and open minded on different nationality and ethnicity of foreign players.

The purpose of the study was to explore on power relations among dancers in ballet company. 10 dancers in A ballet company were selected as the key informants using quota selection and ideal case selection. Data were collected mainly through in-depth interviews and supported by participant-observation. Inductive Thematic Analysis were employed for analyzing data. The conclusions were drawn as below.First, dancers with old age and career establish hierarchical structure, reinforce dominant-subordinate status and appropriation of space for exercising their power. Second, dancers who possess physical and social capital are powerful in relation of competition. Third, dancers as emotional and informational supporter have power in relation of reciprocity.

인문,사회과학편 : 지상파TV 스포츠콘텐츠 수용결정요인과 인지된 가치 및 행위 의도의 관계

본 연구는 지상파TV 스포츠콘텐츠 수용자의 수용결정요인을 살펴보고 인지된 가치와 행위의도에 미치는 영향을 규명하여 지상파TV 스포츠 콘텐츠 가치증진에 시사점을 제공하고자 수도권 소재, 대학생 901명의 지상파TV 스포츠콘텐츠의 수용결정요인과 인지된 가치, 행위의도 설문조사 자료를 분석하였다. 이에 따라 제시한 연구방법 및 절차에 의한 자료분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 첫째, 지상파TV 스포츠콘텐츠 수용결정요인의 시스템이용편리성, 적합성, 접근용이성, 사회문화적 영향은 인지된 가치에 영향을 미치므로 공익적 차원에서 국민적 관심사가 높은 킬러콘텐츠들의 적극적인 수용이 필요하다. 둘째, 지상파TV 스포츠콘텐츠 수용결정요인의 시스템이용편리성, 적합성은 행위의도에 영향을 미치므로 상대적으로 우수한 인력과 기술, 전파 인프라 등을 활용하여 고도의 서비스 집약적 상품을 공급해주어야 할 것이다. This study was intended to provide the value increase of terrestrial TV sport contents by analyzing the comparison among the factors of value expectation and use and gratification. For this study, the self-administered questionnaire for 901 college students was employed. The results were as followed. First, the recognized value expectation of TV sport contents were influenced by the audiences' receiving factors such as the use convenience of systems, appropriateness, easy access, and socio-cultural impact. Thus, in terms of public benefits, the TV killer sport contents should be produced and distributed to the audiences. Second, the intended behaviors were influenced by the use convenience of systems and appropriateness about TV sport contents. In this respect, with the mobilization of high quality personnels and techniques, the service intensified contents need to be supplied.

인문,사회과학편 : 영화에서 나타난 춤의 사회저항적 담론 분석 - <빌리 엘리어트>를 중심으로

본 연구는 춤을 소재로 한 영화에서 재현된 사회 갈등 구조와 이데올로기, 그리고 춤을 통해 표현되는 상징적 의미와 담론을 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 영국의 광산 노동자 계층 출신인 소년이 발레리노로 성장하는 영화 <빌리 엘리어트>를 연구대상으로 선정하여 해석적 텍스트 분석을 실시하였다. 주인공인 빌리는 남성성을 상징하는 권투가 아닌 사회적으로 여성적 활동으로 인식되는 발레를 배우게 됨으로써 전형적인 성역할의 이분법적 구조와 젠더 관계에서 탈피하고자 하였다. 또한, 발레는 많은 시간과 비용이 요구되기 때문에 빌리의 사회경제적 위치에서는 노동가 계층의 문화를 반영하는 권투를 하도록 강요받지만, 결국 발레를 통해 경제적 차이를 극복하고 사회적 성공의 계층이동이 가능하게 된 것으로 나타났다. 즉 <빌리 엘리어트>에서 표현된 춤은 젠더 및 계층적 지배 이데올로기에 대한 저항의 매개체로서 영화의 담론을 재현하였다. This study was designed to analyze the symbolic meanings and discourses portrayed through dance in movie in terms of social conflicts and struggles between dominant and subordinate ideologies. For the study, the film, ``Billy Elliot`` was selected because it represents the strong social implications regarding gender and class, and the interpretive textual analysis was employed. The results showed that: First, the main character, Billy, struggled to start to learn ballet because ballet was regarded as a male-sex inappropriate cultural form and that he tried to escape from the traditional gender stereotyped social structure and to avoid from socialization into boxing which seems to be the most masculine sport in the coal-mining town. Second, to learn ballet seemed to challenge the class boundary about consumption of cultural activities and finally to work as a mechanism of social upward mobility and triumph of ideological conflicts. Finally, this study argued that dance represented in ``Billy Elliot`` worked as a medium of social resistance against the dominant ideologies around gender and class.
