열산화법에 의한 티타늄 임플란트의 인산칼슘 결정의 형성 능력 증진

티타늄 임플란트의 표면을 열산화법을 이용하여 티타늄의 표면 위에 생체활성을 갖는 $TiO_2$ 박막을 생성시켜 다양한 의료분야의 응용 가능성을 검토하였다. 시판되고 있는 순수한 티타늄 디스크를 세척 공정을 거친 후, 공기와 아르곤 분위기에서 500, 550, 600, 650, 700${\circ}C$의 온도로 10분간 각각 열산화 처리를 실시하였다. 열처리된 시편의 인산칼슘 결정의 형성 능력을 시험하기 위하여 36.5${\circ}C$의 Eagle's minimum essential medium 용액에서 15일 동안 침적시험을 행하였다. 침적하기 전과 후의 시편의 표면 형상과 표면 조성을 Field Emission-Scanning Electron Microscopy(FE-SEM)와 Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectrometry(EDS)로 각각 분석하였다. In vitro 시험에서 미세한 $TiO_2$ 결정이 생성된 박막의 표면에는 탄소가 함유된 인산칼슘 결정이 생성됨을 확인하였다. Titanium oxide film was deposited on the commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti) by thermal oxidation method for its medical application. The cp-Ti disks were cleaned and then heat-treated at the temperatures of 500, 550, 600, 650, and 700${\circ}C$, respectively, for 10 min in air or Ar. To test the ability of calcium phosphate formation, the specimens were immersed in the Eagle's minimum essential medium solution at 36.5${\circ}C$ for 15 days. The morphology and chemical composition of the surfaces before and after soaking were analyzed by using FE-SEM and EDS. The in-vitro formation of carbonated calcium phosphate on the thin films containing nano-sized $TiO_2$ crystals was identified.
스핀코팅으로 금속물질을 도핑한 TiO<sub>2</sub>박막의 광학적 특성

Ti-나프텐산염과 금속을 출발원료로 사용하고, 스핀코팅-열분해법을 이용하여 실리카 유리위에 박막을 제조하였다. 도포된 박막은 $500^{\circ}C$ 공기에서 10min동안 열처리하였다. 이를 5회 코팅한 박막은 마지막으로 공기에서 $600^{\circ}C$에서 30min으로 하였다. 박막의 특성을 분석하기 위하여 X-선 회절 분석, 전자현미경, UV스펙트럼을 이용하여 분석하였다. 밴드갭에서 가장 큰 장파장 쪽으로 이동은 Fe을 도핑한 $TiO_2$ 박막이었다. Metal-doped $TiO_2$ thin films were prepared on soda-lime-silica glass substrates by using a spin coating-pyrolysis process. As-deposited films were prefired at $500^{\circ}C$ or 10 min in air. Five-coated films were finally annealed at $600^{\circ}C$ for 30 min in air. High resolution X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscope and UV spectrophotometer were used to analyze film's property. The largest red shift in optical energy gap is obtained in the Fe-doped $TiO_2$ film.
어린이 천식과 주거환경적 위험요인에 대한 환자-대조군 연구

Objective: We performed this study to determine the association between childhood asthma and residential environment risk factors including VOCs and formaldehyde exposure. Methods: We selected an asthma group (30) and a control gorup (30) through physicain diagnosis and assessed the VOCs and formaldehyde levels of exposure of elementary school children in Seoul. Results: In the results, there were no significant differences in socioeconomic factors between case and control groups. However, there were significant differences in family asthma history, amount of sunlight, level of humidity and number of household residents (p < 0.05). The level of VOC (toluene, ethylbenzene, stylene, m,p-xylene) exposure level of the case group was significantly higher than that of the control group (p < 0.05) and the result of logistic regression showed that asthma family history, amount of humidity and number of household residents were significant predictors of childhood asthma (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Some residential environments such as lower amounts of sunlight, greater amounts of humidity and smaller numbers of household residents and VOC exposure were determinded as risk factors for childhood asthma.
군산시, 부안군 및 고창군의 2002∼2011년의 산업재해 분석

Objectives: This study was conducted to assess the trend of work-related accident rate in the past 10 years (2002∼2011) in Gusan district, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Korea. Methods: To analyze the change of work-related accident rate in the past 10 years in Gunsan District, we analyzed the work-related accident and disease by the type of business, business scale and analyzing the victim`s age and job period using workplace information management system(PKMS) in the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Results: The average rate of work-related accidents in Gunsan district was 0.96% in the past 10 years and it was a little higher than that of national average 0.75%. The rates of work-related accidents tended to decrease from 1.11% in 2002, to 1.09% in 2006, and to 0.79% in 2011. Mortality (per 10,000) rates also tended to decrease in the years 2002, 2006, and 2011 as 3.07, 2.46, and 1.53. By the type of business, the average rate of work-related accidents in the past 10 years was the highest in agriculture as 1.77%, followed by forestry farming at 1.76%. By the business scale, the average rate of work-related accidents was the highest in the group of under 5 employees as 2.05% and it was the lowest in the group of more than 300 employees as 0.50%. The ratio of work-related accidents in the 30`s age group was decreased from 41.7% in 2002 to 25.2% in 2011 and the ratio for the 50`s age group was increased from 28.6% in 2002 to 49.5% in 2011. Conclusions: Although the rate of work-related accident was decreased in the past 10 years, the polarization of work-related accidents rated by the business scale and age groups show a significant difference. So it is needed that the planning and implementing of work-related accidents prevention policies.
