        Convergent Influence of Self Efficacy, Academic Control and School Resilience on TOEIC Learning Flow among Health College Students

        This study investigates convergent influence on TOEIC learning flow and its association with self efficacy, academic control and school resilience among health college students. Data collection was carried out using a self-administered questionnaire from May 1 to May 29, 2018 and the target was randomly selected 255 health college students in TOEIC class from college located in J city. TOEIC learning flow was positively correlated with self efficacy, academic control and school resilience. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm relationship among self efficacy, academic control, school resilience and TOEIC learning flow. School resilience was more influential on TOEIC learning flow than self efficacy and academic control. The results of the study indicate that the efforts to manage these factors are required to increase TOEIC learning flow of health college students in TOEIC class. The results are expected to be used to develop TOEIC learning curriculum increasing the TOEIC learning flow among health college students in TOEIC class. In the following study, the survey about additional factors of influence on TOEIC learning flow will be needed.

        Convergent Influence of Job Seeking Stress, Self Efficacy and Academic Burnout on TOEIC Test Anxiety at TOEIC study among Health College Students

        This study investigates convergent influence on test anxiety and its association with job seeking stress, academic burnout, self efficacy among health college students in TOEIC class. Data collection was carried out using a self-administered questionnaire from April 3 to April 14, 2017 and the target was randomly selected 291 Health College Students in TOEIC class from 1 college located in J city. Test anxiety was positively correlated with job seeking stress and academic burnout, and it was negatively correlated with self efficacy. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm relationship among job seeking stress, academic burnout, self efficacy and test anxiety. Job seeking stress was more influential on test anxiety than academic burnout and self efficacy. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to manage these factors, are required to decrease the test anxiety of health college students in TOEIC class. The results are expected to be useful for the development of TOEIC learning curriculum decrease the test anxiety of TOEIC study among health college students in TOEIC class. In the following study, the survey about additional factors of influence on test anxiety will be needed.

        Convergence Factors Related with Communication Competency of Students in Health Majors in Studying for TOEIC

        This study investigates convergent factors related with communication competency of some health majors students in studying for TOEIC. The questionnaire was used using an unregistered self-administered questionnaire for 280 health majors students in TOEIC class from college located in J area from November 1, 2018 to November 30, 2018. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The communication competency of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which ego-resilience is higher, a group in which inkling is higher, and a group in which self-leadership is higher. The results show explanatory power of 57.0%. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to increase ego-resilience, inkling and self-leadership are required to improve the communication competency among health majors students in studying for TOEIC. These results can be used to develop and operate educational resources and support programs that improve communication competency of health majors students in studying for TOEIC. Future research requires presentation and analysis of structural models considering factors affecting communication competency and correlation with TOEIC scores of health majors students in studying for TOEIC.

        An analysis on Structure Equation Model of Convergent Influence on Academic Burnout of Health Major Students in Studying for TOEIC

        This study investigates convergent influence on Self Factors(SF), Stress Factors(STF), Resilience & Control Factors(RCF), Test Anxiety(TA), Learning Flow(LF) and academic burnout among Health College Students in TOEIC class(HCST). The survey was administered to 291 HCST from 1 college located in J area during the period from April 3, 2017 to April 14, 2017. The structured self-administered questionaries were used. With the analysis of covariance structure, we could confirm relationship among the six factors such as SF, STF, RCF, TA, LF and academic burnout. The results of the study indicate that the efforts, to manage these factors, are required to decrease the academic burnout of HCST. Squared multiple correlations, which explain the academic burnout related with the stress from economic pressure and job seeking, test anxiety, learning flow and self factors, were 98.8%. The results are expected to be useful for the development of TOEIC learning curriculum and course to decrease the academic burnout of HCST. In the following study, the analysis about additional factors of influence on academic burnout will be needed.

        한국 고등학교 학생들의 환경문제 및 환경교육에 대한 인식 연구

        The purpose of this study is to develop guiding principles of the environment education in high school geography courses through the search for the consciousness of the matter of environment and environment education on the part of high school students. The method of questionaire is taken up for the inquiry. The subjects of this inquiry include 260 students in Seoul, the metropolice, 150 students in an industrial city, Incheon, 60 in a small and medium, sized city, Choon-chun, and 60 in a farming community. The investigation into the consciousness of environment includes the degree of environmental interest, the degree of virtual examination in the inhabited regions, general knowledge of environment, and the policy of environment. The investigation into the environment education comprises general environment education, environment education in geography class, teaching methods in environment education, and the practice of environment education and the preservation of environment. The guides at which should be aimed in environment education in every situations and geography class are as follows: At first, the environment education should be done, with the awarness of respective regional aspects; the awarness of virtual degree of contamination and the cause of environmental pollution vary in every situation. Secondly, despite of high awarness of the degree of interest in the matter of environment and environment education, the degree of awarness of terms, representing the amount of environmental pollution, and of the government's policy toward environment is somewhat low. The majority become aware of the necessity of environment preservation and the environment-related information chiefly by mean of mass media, so the reinforcement of environment education toward these areas is required through formal environmental education. Thirdly, the students emphasize on active participation in the activities, in which are at the formation of the pleasant environment. In view of their inactive participation in environment preservation at home and in and out their campuses after school, the greatest emphasis should be put on the practical aspects of life with ecological understanding of relationship between human and environment for the purpose of practice of environment education in every day life. Fourth, the current curriculum should be shifted from the emphasis on individual phenomenon and individual cases to those of multiple phenomena and materials dealing with common environmental issues. The field of study in class should be emphasized not only their own inhabitation areas but also other areas, which will help enhance the abilities to think in a comprehensive way and to make their decisions in a reasonable way. Finally, the use of multimedia including photographs, maps, tables, and statistic data, is required in environment education in geographic class, in addition to these, the use of a variety of audio-visual aids and a variety of new teaching method are recommended.

        Convergent Influence of Ego-Resilience, Nunchi and Self-Leadership on Communication Competency among Students in Health Majors in Studying for TOEIC

        This study investigated the relationship between ego-resilience, Nunchi, self-leadership, and communication competency of Health Majors Students in Studying for TOEIC(HMSST) and analyzed the convergent influence on communication competency. For collection data, this study distributed self-administered questionnaires from November 1 to November 30, 2018 and the questionnaires were distributed to randomly selected 280 health majors students in TOEIC class from colleges located in J area. The survey showed that the communication competency was positively correlated with ego-resilience, Nunchi and self-leadership. The covariance structure analysis showed that the higher ego-resilience, the higher Nunchi and the higher self-leadership tend to increase communication competency. The results of the study indicate that the efforts to increase ego-resilience, Nunchi and self-leadership will improve communication competency of HMSST. These results are expected to be utilized in educational support and mediation to enhance the communication competency among HMSST. In the following study, the research on the additional factors which may influence on communication competency will be needed.

        Convergent Factors Related to TOEIC Learning Flow of Some College Students in Health Care

        This study investigates convergent factors to TOEIC learning flow among some health college students in TOEIC class. The questionnaire was performed on 255 health college students in TOEIC class from college located in J area from May 1st, 2018 to May. 25th, 2018 by using an unregistered self-administered questionnaire. The hierarchical multiple regression analysis shows the following results. The TOEIC learning flow of respondents turned out to be significantly higher in following groups: a group in which self efficacy is higher, a group in which academic control is higher, a group in which school resilience is higher. The results show explanatory power of 43.4%. As the results of the study, it is necessary to make an effort to increase self efficacy, academic control and school resilience to improve the TOEIC learning flow among health college students. These results can be used in development and operation of TOEIC learning program to higher TOEIC learning flow in health college students. Further studies need the analysis of structural equation model effecting TOEIC learning flow of health college students.

        A study on Convergence Factors Related with Academic Burnout of Students in Health Majors in Studying for TOEIC

        This study was carried out to examine the converging factors related to academic burnout in students from health-related majors who are involved in studying for the Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC). Research subjects included 291 randomly selected students from the J-region, who were enrolled in TOEIC classes. Data collection took place from April 3, 2017 to April 14, 2017, using anonymous self-administered questionnaires. The results of a multiple regression analysis in female students showed higher academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC when sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion were low, and job-seeking stress and test anxiety were high. The explanatory power of this model was 65%. Based on these results, to reduce academic burnout pertaining to studying for the TOEIC in health majors, it is first necessary to increase sleeping hours, self-worth, self-efficacy, school adaptation resilience, and study immersion, and to make efforts to manage self-competence, job-seeking stress, and test anxiety. The results of this study may be used to decrease the academic burnout caused by studying for the TOEIC in health major students and to increase their aptitude for studying English, to cultivate globalized capabilities. Future studies need to conduct an effect analysis on the control and mediation effect that these factors have on academic burnout.

        내담자가 지각한 상담성과에 영향을 미치는 내담자 요인에 대한 개념도 연구

        본 연구는 내담자가 지각하는 상담성과에 영향을 미치는 내담자 요인의 내용과 그 이면의 구조를 개념도 연구 방법을 통해 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 상담의 성과를 경험한 대학생 내담자 13명을 대상으로 면담을 실시하여 상담성과에 영향을 미치는 내담자 요인 진술문 65개를 도출하였다. 그리고 내담자 요인 진술문에 대한 유사성 분류 및 중요도 평정을 실시하고, 유사성 분류 자료를 바탕으로 다차원 척도와 위계적 군집분석을 실시한 결과 상담성과에 영향을 미치는 내담자 요인의 2개 인식 차원과 5개 범주를 확인하였다. 차원은 ‘상담을 위한 노력-자신을 위한 노력’ 차원과 ‘내담자의 외적 세계-내담자의 내적 세계’로 명명하고, 5개의 범주는 ‘상담 장면에서의 적극적인 참여’, ‘반성적 사고를 통한 자각 확장’, ‘문제해결과 변화에 대한 강한 욕구’, ‘상담 밖에서의 상담 내용 적용’, ‘상담에 대한 긍정적 인식’으로 정의하였다. 범주별 중요도를 평정한 결과 모든 범주가 3.95점 또는 그 이상으로 중요하고 의미 있는 것으로 나타났다. 내담자 요인 진술문 중 “문제해결의 주체는 상담자가 아닌 나 자신으로 생각했다.”가 가장 중요한 내담자 요인이었다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 제시하였다. This study explored the underlying constructs of client factors influencing counseling outcomes. Thirteen college student clients who successfully terminated counseling were interviewed. Sixty-five client statements were extracted and classified based on their similarities. Multidimensional scaling analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis were conducted. Results revealed 2 dimensions and 5 categories of client factors. The two dimensions represented ‘Effort for counseling - Effort for themselves’ and ‘Client’s external world - Client’s internal world.’ The five categories were identified as follows: ‘Active participation in counseling’, ‘Enhanced awareness through reflective thinking’, ‘Strong willingness for problem solving and change’, ‘Applying the lesson beyond counseling’, and ‘Positive thoughts about counseling.’ Clients rated all the categories as important as 3.95 or higher. Implications and suggestions were offered.
