        의암호의 (衣岩湖) 이화학적 환경조사

        Limnological studies of the Uiam artifical lake located in the Chun chon city, in the chemical and physical point of view, chemical components and physical factors in this water, were made during a half year round from May to November in 1968. In the seasonal variation of water quality, amount of each component estimated in this lake was increased in a small measure in June in the Summer season, decreased a little in August after the rainy season, however, in October, slighthy increased again and in November gradually decreased according to the change of the atomosphoric temperature. Juding from seasonal and vertical variation of water quality, the Uiam lake can be seen one of the artifical reservios which shows a ordinary river`s nature. The order of rate of water pollution at three stations studied in the Uiam lake is as follows: St.2>St.l>St.3.

        한강유역 (漢江流域) 어류중의 중금속 분포에 관한 연구

        A study on the distribution of heavy metals in the tissues of the fresh-water fishes was proceeded. The samples of fresh-water fishes were collected from the Han River during June and September in 1981. The species of fresh-water fishes were selected 3 species such as Carsscus auratus, Parasilurus asotus and Pseudogobio escinus and the sampling areas were choice 3 sites take into account for a habitat, near Kimpo bridge in main Han River, near Yeoju up in South Han River and near Cheongpyeong Dam in the North Han River. After classifing each species. the muscle, skeleton, bronchia, liver and kidney were ectomyzed from those fishes, and than the content of heavy metals, copper, lead and cadmium in each ectomyzed tissue were analyzed by flameless method of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The results are summarized as follows. On the whole, the content of copper, lead and cadmium in the tissues of the Carossius auratus were shown higher than the others. The contents of cadmium only in the muscle and bronchia of the Parasilurus asotus were shown higher than that of carassius auratus. Ingeneral, the copper in the liver, the lead in the skeleton and the cadmium in the kidney were found especially higher as comparison with other tissues. on the contrary, the content of copper, lead and cadmium in the muscle were found lower than the other tissues. As regarding to the each collecting site, the contents of copper, lead and cadmium in those fishes collecting near Kimpo bridge in Han River were shown higher values than the other 2 sites.

        경안천의 (慶安川) 춘기 육수학적 연구

        1. In spring season, the quality of water and kinds and distribution of aquatic insects over the Kyung-An stream along the length between Yong-In and Han river in Bun-Won was studied. 2. The quality of water near Yong-In on this Kyung-An stream was slightly polluted by the inflow of domestic sewage. Judging from the quality of water and the aquatic insects distribution, this area is gradually transfering from oligo saprove zone to β-mesosaprove zone with such insects as Espeorus sp. and Rhithrogena na. in it. 3. Between Wang-San Ri to near Kwang-Ju along this stream, concentration of Cl^-, Hardness, KMnO₄, consumed, Alkalinity are found to be lower in this area than in other areas and many kinds of aquatic insects especially Trichoptera sp. have been found in great numbers and it belong to the oligo saprove zone, in terms of water quality and aquatic insects. 4. From Won-Dang Ri to near Han river the quality of water shows again a slight pollution and accordingly a slight change in aquatic organism is also obsorved. This area transfering from oligo saprove zone to β-meso saprove zone.

        화진포의 수질과 Plankton 에 관한 연구

        Water properties and plankton fauna in Hwajin-po which is located at the northern edge of eastern sea in the Kangwon province Korea, were investigated during the period of Aug. 14 and Oct. 7, 1969. respectively. The results obtained from which compared water characteristics with plankton fauna that composed of both exterior and interior lakes are as follows: ① The content of nitrogen compound in both lakes was similar with each other, and COD, alkalinity, total hardness, Cl, Ca and Mg hardness were appeared higher content in the exterior lake than in the interior lake. As for sea water inflow frequently into the external lake, so the large amount of these compounds considerably existed higher in the exterior. ② The fact that the content of PO₄^(-3) and Fe found similar with in both lakes were principally caused by geological nature. And the anount of SiO₂ in the interior lake was considerable higher value than that of the exterior lake, because of the several stream waters arounding the lake inflow frequently into this lake. ③ The authors could not abserve Cladocera of zooplankton in both lakes. The fact that the genus was not counted in the lakes agreed with the fact that the Cladocera did not observed in brackish water. ④ The number of Copepoda was found similar with both lakes, many amount of the common species that found in brackish or fresh water were observed in both lakes. ⑤ It is consumed that Mastigophore of protozoa was a main species in brackish water situated at external edge of the Hwajin-po.

        이리시 (裡里市) 일원 정수의 위생화학적 (衛生學的) 연구

        Hygienic and chemical research were proceed in the several wells among the 4 areas of I-Ri city, such as Mokchun-dong near the Man gyoung bridge, Dongsan-dong upper side of Mokchun-dong along the Man gyoung river, Namchung-dong in the north side of this city and Mohyun-dung in the northwest side of this city in August during Summer, 1970. Compare with the drinking water standard in our country, nearly all the wells water in this 4 areas was unsuitable for drinking water. In especially the concentration of Cl^- in those wells water of 4 areas are higher than those of most another county in our country. The concentration of Fe, NH₃-N and KMnO₄ consumed in the wells water of Mokchun-dong and the concentration of Fe and KMnO₄, consumed in the wells water of Dongsan-dong are higher value than that of the drinking water standard. In some of the wells, both of Nam chun and Mohyun-dong, the concentration of KMnO₄, consumed, Fe were found also higher value than that of standard.

        한강수계의 (漢江水系) MBAS 오염에 관한 연구

        Studied on the monthly variation of water quality in the Han river between Kwangjang bridge to Nanji island from May to September during 1973. Comparing with the water quality in each area, the concentration of COD and MBAS in Chyeong gae stream and Anyang stream was more higher than that of the Han river. And it was considered that the streams were very polluted for the waste water influence of from Seoul city. Comparing the Han river to upper site(Kwangjang bridge) of it the upper site was not polluted but the Han river was going to polluted for the wastewater influence from Seoul city. In this experiment, the MBAS analytical value was compared statiscally with the value of DO and COD, it showed that there was the relationship between MBAS and DO, COD.

        수은 (水銀) ion 이 가물치 혈청 (血淸) 및 근육내 (筋肉內) Lactate dehydrogenase 에 미치는 영향

        The activity of LDH and the variation of LDH isozyme pattern in the serum and muscle of snakehead which keeped in the water polluted by HgCl₂ had been studied by the method of colorimetry and cellulose acetate electrophoresis gram and compared with each pattern of LDH isozyme. The activity of LDH was gradually increased in the serum of snakehead which keeped in the water polluted with 0.01ppm and 0.05ppm of HgCl₂ through the experimental period. LDH activity in the serum of snakehead which keeped in the water with 0.05ppm of HgCl₂ was increased more superos than the others. The LDH activity in the intramuscular of snakehead which keeped in the water with 0.01ppm of HgCl₂ was gradually decreased after 5 and 10 days. And also decreased the LDH activity in it which keeped in the water with 0.05ppm of HgCl₂. However it more decreased 5 pattern of LDH isozymes were separated in serum and muscle of snakehead which keeped in the both water with 0.01 and 0.05ppm HgCl₂. In the both of the snakehead which keeped with 0.05 and 0.01ppm it show a tendency that the percentage of LDH in serum and muscle was similary decreased and on the other hands the percentage of LDH_5 in serum and muscle was also similary increased in the whole experiment period.

        아산호의 (牙山湖) 육수학적 (陸水學的) 연구

        The water quality has been studied in the artifical Asan reservoir that constructed in Asan bay. from kyung gi-do to the Chung nam during Autumn in 1975. In generally the content of NH₃-N, NO₂-N and NO₃,-N in this water were higher than that of the natural river water but lower than that of the lower course of Han river as which polluted by the sewage water owing to the Seoul city. The content of Cl^- and hardness in this water were more higher than in natural river water but compared with the brackish water it was very low The salinity in this reservoir was rapidly decrease. As a result it is changing to inland water from brackish water. As compared with Ca^(++) and Mg^(++) in the ordernerlly inland water, in generally the content of Ca^(++) is higher than that of Mg^(++). On the centrary the ratio of Ca^(++) to Mg^(++) in brackish water was oppesite to inland water. In this water it show oppoisite ratio, so it is net yet fully changing to inland water from brackish water.

        남한강의 (南漢江) 수질 (水質)

        The water qualities of the south Han river investigated for 8 areas between the upper flows near the Yeo ryang to the middle flows near the Yang pyeong and also for 6 tributaries for a week from on May 31 during 1977. The value of the DO in this river have reduced gradually as the river flows were down along to the low course. But on the contrary the value of the BOD have a tendency to increase along to the low course consquentially it show a tendency to be slightly pollution. The value of hardness and Na were a little superior in these areas near the Chungju city which was many cement factories than the others upper flows and the mining of lime stone. But in the lower course from these areas these values decreasing gradually, and the pollution by the mine seweage slightly found in this area. The value of hardness and Na were especially higher in these tributaries which have polluted by the seweage of mine such as Okdong stream, Gijang stream and Golji stream than in the others streams for the many region of lime stone lies to the upper flow of south Han river. In generally, the value of pH and alkalinity in this south Han river were higher than in the north Han river.
