이용후평가(P.O.E.)를 활용한 도시공원 개선방안 연구

도시공원은 도시 생활의 질과 고밀도 지역 주민들의 만족도를 높이기 위한 중요한 요소이다. 본 연구는 도화도시개발사업 중 도시공원에 대한 이용후평가를 실시하여 도시공원의 이용에 대한 피드백을 통해 연구를 진행하였다. 향후 조성될 도시공원의 계획방향을 도출하기 위한 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 이용자의 만족도를 높이고 접근 가능한 공원 시설의 다양성을 증가시키기 위해 도시공원 네트워크 구축이 필요하다. 둘째, 지속 가능한 도시공원 조성을 위해서는 계획 및 관리 과정에 주민 참여도를 높여야 한다. 셋째, 지역사회 시설, 탁 트인 공간, 놀이터가 부족한 주변 환경 등을 고려하여 도시공원시설(교육 및 문화 시설)의 계획기준을 높여야 한다. 넷째, 세부적인 공원 관리 계획은 주민의 만족도를 높이고 도시공원의 질을 유지하기 위해 필수적이다. 마지막으로, 향후 고밀도 지역의 도시공원 계획 및 설계에 관한 정성적 연구가 필요하다. Urban park is an important factor for increasing the quality of urban life and the satisfaction of residents in high density area. This research conducts a post occupancy evaluation of urban parks in the middle of Dohwa Urban Development Project and to obtain feedback on urban park’ performance in use. Key research findings are as follows. Firstly, the network quality of urban parks is a key important factor for improving the level of users’ satisfaction and increasing the diversity of accessible park facilities within walking distance. Secondly, for creating a sustainable urban park, it is necessary to increase the level of resident’s participation in planning and management processes as soon as possible. Thirdly, considering the poor quality of surrounding environment lacking community facilities, open spaces and playgrounds, it is necessary to increase the planning standard of urban park facilities (i.e. educational and cultural facilities). Fourthly, further detailed park management plan is essential for increasing the level of residents’ satisfaction and maintaining the quality of urban park. Finally, further qualitative researches order to find out detailed ways of future urban park planning and design in high density area.
