4배체와 2배체 포도 품종간 교배를 통해서 생성된 3배체 후대개체에서 과실특성의 변이

본 연구는 고품질을 가진 노동절감형 3배체 포도의 효율적인 육성 가능성을 검토하기 위해서, 4배체와 2배체의 교배를 통해서 얻어진 3배체 포도계통들에서 과실 특성의 변이 를 교배조합별로 검정하였다. 비록 가용성 고형물 함량과 적정산도와 같은 과실의 품질과 관련 된 형질들은 교배조합들 사이에서 유의미한 차이가 관찰되지 않았지만, GA₃ 1회 처리에 따른 과실의 비대 정도는 교배조합에 따른 변이가 크게 나타났다. 특히, ‘거봉’과 ‘적령’의 교배 조합에서 생성된 3배체 후대계통에서의 평균 과방중은 491g으로써 다른 교배조합에서 생성된 후대계통들에 비해서 유의적으로 컸으며, 동일한 교배조합 내의 계통간에서의 차이도 크지 않았다. 이러한 연구결과는 ‘거봉’과 ‘적령’ 같은 특정한 교배 조합이 고품질을 가진 노동력 절감형 대립계 무핵포도를 육성하는데 있어서 효율적으로 이용될 수 있음을 시사하고 있다. This study investigated the variation in fruit characteristics between different triploid progenies derived from a cross between tetraploid and diploid grape cultivars, with the aim of developing high quality, labor-saving triploid grapes. No differences were found in fruit quality traits such as soluble solids content and titratable acidity, whereas significant variation was noted in cluster weight induced by a one-time application of GA3 (100 ppm) on the triploid progeny of different cross combinations. The cluster weight was higher in progeny obtained from ‘Kyoho’ × ‘Sekirei’ than for offspring derived from other cross combinations; deviation in the mean cluster weight was also small for ‘Kyoho’ × ‘Sekirei’ progeny. These results suggest that specific cross combinations, such as ‘Kyoho’ × ‘Sekirei’, can be used to efficiently breed new, labor-saving seedless grape cultivars.

Salt stress is one of major restrictions for the production of lettuce. In order to identify promising lettuce genotypes having tolerance against salt stress, effect of different sodium chloride (NaCl) concentrations (0, 100, and 200 mM) on electrolyte leakage and growth of thirty-two lettuce landraces from Korea was evaluated. Screening salt tolerant genotypes based on cluster analysis using data of electrolyte leakage discriminated IT105183 and IT195057 as the most salt tolerant landraces. More importantly, salinity significantly reduced growth of lettuce, but the reduction rates of growth caused by salt stress in salt-tolerant genotypes were much smaller than those in salt-sensitive genotypes. These results indicate that IT105183 and IT195057 have high potential for being used as parents to improve salt tolerance in other lettuce cultivars.

Purpose This study was to survey contrast media washout time in right atrium(RA) using time bolus and saline push method. And, we have compared routine injection with changed injection method in order to obtain the excellent images without streak artifacts at cardiac computed tomographic angiography(CTA). Materials and methods We have inspected 50 people those who had scanned CT during November, 2008. After preparing intravenous route in medial-cubital vein at elbow joint of right side, we had performed the test bolus at the ascending aorta. We attained enhance peak time and injected the combination of contrast media(CM) and saline(CM: 60cc, 4cc/sec ; saline: 50cc, 5cc/sec). Then we acquired contrast media washout time in RA to below 300HU. We have selected 45 people those who had scanned cardiac CTA between October to November 2005. We divided them to 3 groups(group A: CM 70cc, 4.0/sec ; saline 30cc, 4.0/sec, group B: CM 75cc, 4.0/sec ; saline 30cc, 4.0/sec, group C: CM 80cc, 4.0/sec ; saline 30cc, 4.0/sec) and evaluated in the quantitative and qualitative way. We have performed 50 people those who had scanned cardiac CTA using changed volume method(group D) and evaluated in and qualitative way during January, 2009. Results 1. At the time curve coordinates against HU of RA, contrast media washout time takes 23sec in 15 and takes 24sec in 35 people to below 300HU. It means that takes about 9sec after injection contrast media. 2. Group D is superior to other groups(A, B, C) in the quantitative way. 3. Group D is superior to other groups(A, B, C) in the qualitative way. Conclusion According to the results contrast media washout time has regularity and changed volume method helped to obtain excellent image without streak artifacts.

‘Sweet Dream’(Vitis complex), a new triploid seedless grape cultivar, is developed from the grape breeding program at Gangwondo Agricultural Research and Extension Services in 2009. ‘Sweet Dream’ was obtained from a cross ‘Honey Black’(Vitis complex) and ‘Campbell Early’(Vitis labrusca), a diploid x tetraploid grape cultivar. Characteristics of fruits and vines in ‘Sweet Dream’ were observed from 2006 to 2008, and ‘Sweet Dream’ was finally selected in 2009. Its optimum harvest time in Chuncheon is September 11, 12 days later than ‘Campbell Early’. ‘Sweet Dream’ has strong vine vigor and moderate freezing tolerance, with no bud damage occurring during winter in Chuncheon. The average weight of a cluster is 440g, and its average soluble solids concentration is 16.4 °Brix. It is seedless and has larger fruit size and better fruit quality than ‘Campbell Early’. It, therefore, is expected that introduction of ‘Sweet Dream’ could contribute to the diversification and gentrification of Korean grape cultivars (Registration No. 4359).
Hypo-, Hyper-tetraploid 포도의 수체생육 및 과실특성

In this study, we investigated the fruit and vine characteristics of hypo- and hyper-tetraploid grapes from which a chromosome was added or deleted. The aim of this study was to evaluate the possibility of developing seedless grapes by utilizing the characteristics of hypo- and hyper-tetraploid grapes. Both the hypo- and hyper-tetraploid grapes showed stable vine growth characteristics unlike other aneuploid plants, which displayed abnormal leaf morphology and unstable vine growth patterns, indicating that hypo- and hyper-tetraploid grapes can be used for commercial purpose. The hypo-tetraploid grapes produced 100% seedless fruits, with large berries ranging from 8.5 to 10.5 g, when the grapes were applied with 100 ppm gibberillic acid during their full bloom period. Although the fruits of the hyper-tetraploid grape were larger than those of the hypo-tetraploid grapes, it produced a lower percentage of seedless fruits. We conclude that the characteristics of hypo-tetraploid grapes may be exploited to develop seedless grapes with large berries.
