Zen"ichidōjin(全一道人), a Korean textbook compiled by Amenomori Hōshū(雨森芳洲), has Hangeul and Hanja(漢字) Banghun(傍訓) which show the orthography of the words, alongside Kana transcription which represents the pronunciation of the words. Chōsen"goyaku(朝鮮語譯), another Korean textbook transcribed by Hattori Nankaku(服部南郭), consists of three volumes that volume 1 is written in Kana, and volume 2 and 3 are written in Hangeul. We found the facts as a conclusion of comparison about the Hangeul parts of two textbooks. First of all, both are subject to the conventional orthography in Modern Korean but Zen"ichidōjin shows the gap between orthography and pronunciation through its Banghun and Kana transcription. Next, both show phonological writing errors between consonants or vowels and it is an inevitable consequence of the differences between phonological inventories or syllable structures of Korean and Japanese. Finally, volume 3 of Chōsen"goyaku differs from other materials in that it shows more unrefined orthography and many phonological writing errors. As a result, they illustrate what becomes difficulties to Japanese learners in process of learning Korean and provide clues for understanding phonetic realization of Korean language in the era.

『고려대 한국어대사전』의 부가 정보 ‘어원의 상세한 설명’에 대하여

본고는 『고려대 한국어대사전』의 ‘부가 정보’ 중 ‘어원의 상세한 설명’에 대하여 그 현황과 특징을 설명한 것이다. 고려대 한국어대사전』은 4600여 개 단어에 어원(최초 출현형)을 제시하고, 일부 단어에는 어휘 역사에 대한 상세한 설명을 제공하였다. 최근에는 수정 및 보완 작업을 통해 기존 정보를 점검하고 신규 정보를 추가하여 총 1050여 개 표제어에 ‘어원의 상세한 설명’을 마련하였으며, 향후 포털 사이트를 통해 서비스하면서 보완을 지속할 예정이다. 이번 작업을 통해 『고려대 한국어대사전』은 기존 정보의 형식과 장점을 유지하되 서술 기준을 구체화하고 특징을 분명히 하여 차별성을 갖추었다. ‘어원의 상세한 설명’의 특징으로는 표제어 선정의 측면에서 ‘이용자를 고려한 표제어 선정’과 ‘다양한 어종·시대의 표제어 선정’을, 내용 기술의 측면에서 ‘의미 변화를 고려한 내용 기술’과 ‘다양한 자료를 활용한 내용 기술’을 들 수 있다. 앞으로는 더 많은 자료를 바탕으로 보다 폭넓은 표제어에 부가 정보가 추가될 필요가 있다. This article aims to elucidate the current status and features of the “Detailed Explanation of Etymology” found in the Korea University Korean Dictionary . The dictionary presents vocabularys initial appearance as micro-information in the “etymology” section, and some entries come with in-depth explanations through the “Detailed Explanation of Etymology.” Recently, the dictionary has been expanded to include a total of 1,050 entries, which were established through modification, supplementation, and the addition of new words. The dictionary will continue to grow, with further additions and revisions planned for the future. This work has allowed the dictionary to specify detailed criteria and clarify its unique characteristics. The characteristics of the “Detailed Explanation of Etymology” are “Selection of Headwords Considering Users,” “Selection of Headwords of Various Types and Times,” “Description Considering Meaning Changes,” and “Description Using Various Data.”

한국어의 영향으로 예외적으로 음이 변한 한자어 고찰 ― 『표준국어대사전』(1999)의 ▽ 표시 한자음을 중심으로

In this paper, we examine the cases of Sino-Korean pronunciations marked with the symbol ∇ in the Standard Korean Language Dictionary (1999), where exceptional sound changes have occurred due to internal changes in the Korean language. As a result, we found that various internal factors in the Korean language, such as the initial law, fortition, alternation between aspirated and unaspirated sounds, phonetic changes including weakening, deletion, and addition, vowel sound changes such as vowel raising and fronting, dialectal variations, and associative effects, have a direct influence on Sino-Korean pronunciations.
