This paper presents a numerical study to enhance the mixing of polyurethane resin in a container. In general, the properties of polyurethane resin vary with the production environment, such as temperature. However in this study we assumed that the dynamic viscosity of the polyurethane is kept constant at 15 [Paㆍs]. We computed the flow solution and visualized the mixing pattern for different shapes of mixers by using commercial code, ANSYS CFX. In order to quantify mixing, we employed the concept of mixing index by volume integration.

In this paper, we present flow patterns and characteristics of an air-flow separator by using the numerical analysis. Materials(or particles) of different density is to be separated by using the drag force from air flow. The separated low-density particle are discharged by using inhalation with a drum. To obtain the flow informations numerical computation has been performed by using a commercial code, ANSYS CFX.
교차된 배플 구조의 채널 믹서의 유동 및 혼합에 관한 실험적 및 수치해석적 연구

In this study a newly designed mixer is proposed to enhance the mixing effect with the purpose to apply it to microchannel mixing in a short future. This design is composed of a channel with cross baffles periodically arranged on the both bottom and top surfaces of the channel. To obtain the flow patterns, the numerical computation was performed by using a commercial code, ANSYS CFX 10.0. To evaluate the mixing performance, we computed Lyapunov exponent and obtained Poincare sections. Then, experiment was performed in a macro scale at low Reynolds numbers (Re<=1). The visualized mixing pattern was shown to be in a good agreement with the Poincare section obtained from the numerical computation.
유도 맞잡기 유형에 따른 양손업어치기의 동작의 운동학적 분석[ I ]

The purpose of this study was to analyze exercise related mechanical variables according to performance levels and Kumi-kata types in elite judo players (G1) and non-elite judo players, namely university players (G2). To achieve this purpose, three players in G1 whose main special skill was Morote-Seoinage and three university judo players(G2) was selected as comparative group. Then they were examined for distinguishing A and B types of Kumi-kata. Analyzed variables were the time required to show skills, knee degree, elbow degree. After analysing this study, conclusions were derived as follows. 1. In total necessary time of showing skills according to group of Kumi-kata type, G2 was longer than G1 in both A type (20.9%) and B type (23.7%). In necessary time of phase, in only 3P, G1 was shorter than G2 in A type (50%) and B type (75%). There was no difference in time required of 1P and 2P according to Kumi-kata type of group and in only 3P, B type was shorter than A type in both B type (75%) of G1 and B type (50%) of G2 2 There was no difference in elbow degree of offensive arm according to group of Kumi-kata type, however in A and B types, G1 could use skills by extending in kake phase, but G2 could use skills by bending. Elbow degree of offensive arm according to Kumi-kata type of group showed difference in E1. and F2 of G1. A and B types of G1 extended elbow degree in Kake phase, but G2 bent elbow degree so exercise program which could movable range extensively in Kake phase is needed.

In this paper, we present flow patterns around and performance of an air-flow separator by using the numerical analysis. With this separator, particles of different density are to be separated by using the drag force from the air flow. The low-density particles are designed to be separated by using inhalation through holes on a rotating drum. To obtain the flow informations needed for determining the proper design parameters, we have performed numerical simulations by using a commercial code, ANSYS CFX. Various parameter set was tested and it was found that depending on the design of drums there exist critical parameter set regarding the attachment of light particles on the drum, which is prerequisite for the separation of materials. We present here the possibility of using the present design in separation of particles mixed in the clod for use in recycling.
