맥루한의 사상서는 미디어의 권력으로 자리 잡고 있다. 그가 말하는 -하나의 감각에 편중되지 않은- "촉각적 글쓰기" 는 바로 이상의 작품에서 발견할 수 있다. 한국 구체시의 시초로 자리 잡은 이상의 작품은 현대에 와서 재조명되고 있다. 난해하고 복잡한, 정신분열증의 결과물로 발간 이후 끊임없이 화제가 되었던 그의 시는 재조명 과정에서 시각예술의 단편으로 실험적 정신과 한국 다다이즘의 실체로 분석되고 있다. 그러나 이상 시의 진정한 의미는 회화적 측면 혹은 감성적 측면에 치우치지 않은 하나의 감각이 다른 감각으로 확장되었다는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 감각의 확장' 이라는 미디어의 관점으로 그의 세계를 재해석 하고자 한다. McLuhan's work has enormous power in the study 이 media theory. In Lee-Sang's works, we can find out the Macluhan's idea, "tactile" writing, which enhances more than one single sense, Lee-Sang's pieces, viewed as the origin of Korean concrete poetry, are being reconfigured in modern times. After publication, Lee-Sang's esoteric and complicated poem was considered as the result of schizophrenia. However, in the reconfiguring process, his continuously issued poems were reconsidered as a fraction of visual arts and analyzed as the substances of Korean dadaism and an attitude to challenge. But the real importance of Lee-Sang's poem is the extension of a sense; his poem is unbiased either by visual part or by emotional part, though one sense is extended to another sense. Now you will see the reinterpretation of Lee-Sang's world from the viewpoint of media, 'extension of senses'.

자연스러운 춤 동작 생성을 위한 분절화와 전이기법 (pp.407-415)

본 연구에서는 긴 춤 시퀀스를 춤 세그먼트들로 분절하는 방법과 이 춤 세그먼트들의 자연스러운 연결을 위한 전이 방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 분절화(segmentation) 방법은 라반 운동 분석(LMA)을 기반으로 한다. 춤 세그먼트 안에서 춤추는 캐릭터 외형의 변화가 일정한 패턴을 이루며 발생하는 것에 착안하여, 패턴이 변화되는 구간에서 춤 세그먼트의 경계를 찾는다. 이 방법은 춤 시퀀스에서 얻어낸 LMA의 외형 곡선에서 키 자세(key pose)를 찾고, 나타나는 패턴을 분석하여 수행된다. 제안하는 전이(transition) 방법은 춤과 같이 유사도가 낮은 모션을 대상으로 하고 있다. 이 방법은 선형 보간 방법을 기본으로 이용하고, 발에 발생하는 제약사항을 만족하도록 중간 자세를 생성하고, 전이 구간 중간의 키 프레임으로 사용하여 전이를 완성한다. 우리가 제안하는 방법들은 기존의 춤 모션 데이타를 사용한 새로운 춤 시퀀스 합성에 활용이 가능하다. This paper presents novel segmentation and transition techniques for dancing motion synthesis. The segmentation method for dancing motions is based on Laban Movement Analysis (LMA). We assume a dance sequence as a set of small dancing motions. To segment a dancing motion is a subjective, psychological, and complex problem, so we extract the shape factor of LMA from a dance motion and observe shape’s changes to find the boundaries of dance segments. We also introduce a transition method that meets constraints on the feet. This method that is based on a linear interpolation modifies the intermediate posture motion after analyzing footprint positions. The posture could be a key-frame between source motion and target motion on the transition. With the proposed techniques, it would be easy for multimedia applications to generate plausible dance motions.
