Since the end of the 1990s, an increasing number of mass buildings has been associated with turnkey-based bidding system in domestic public sector. Thus, this system has acted a significant role in architectural culture. However, most of architectural practice related to the turnkey-based approach has been focused on its facial and aesthetic aspects, and, in the field of academic research, most literature has been mainly concentrated on its bidding or evaluation system. In order to overcome the limitation of the design approach which is merely connected to the formative aspects, this research explores the effective models of design processes, namely ‘standard model’ and ‘process model.’ Elucidating a contemporary communication theory, this study aims to contribute to the improvement of rational and competitive design processes in terms of turnkey-based design approach. To achieve this aim, with quantitative methodology as well as its qualitative interpretation, questionnaire technique is employed.

This study introduce a architectural design process by the changes of sustainable design guidelines in public project. First of all, this study examines existing integrated design process studies performed by Rhee & U.B.C. Also, this study examines sustainable guidelines which demanded by public building projects. Then, this study introduces sustainable design process using existing sustainable design process, and shows that how to operate and proceed integrated design to satisfy the sustainable guidelines in practice. The results of this study are as follows. (1) Since 2007, sustainable design guidelines of bidding projects have been highlighted. (2) In publicbuildings, energy saving is very important issue. Especially energy certification demands 1st degree(under300㎾h/㎡?yr). (3) In practice, integrated design team performed sustainable design using the sustainable design process to improve sustainable in public buildings.
제로에너지건축물 인증을 고려한 공동주택 태양광 발전시스템 적용 방안

This study examined the applicable capacity of the photovoltaic system of two blocks of the apartment complex for each ZEB certification grade through a solar simulation program. District heating is applied to the two blocks of the apartment, and the Ⓐ block is higher-rise than the Ⓑ block. Accordingly, since the Ⓐ block has a relatively long district heating pipe length and pumping power, the primary energy requirement was calculated to be higher. As a result of calculating the PV applicable area of the roof and the facade using the solar simulation program, the roof was found to be in the range of 54 to 73% depending on the building arrangement, and it was analyzed that the average of 65% was applicable. The facade was found to be available as much as 15% of the total facade area in the southeast and 20% in the southwest. As a result of applying the PV system according to the ZEB certification grade, it was analyzed that up to Grade4 can be achieved only by the rooftop area, and it was found that the facade area from Grade3 should be available. As the maximum achievable level, Ⓐ block was analyzed as ZEB Grade3 and Ⓑ block as Grade2.
