        고정층 생밀막공법에 의한 하폐수의 정화효율에 관한 실험적 연구

        Trickling filters using fixed biological film have been used for many years for the treatment of liquid organic waste and trickling filtration is one of the most common process for the removal of organic matter from wastewater. The introduction of plastic media has caused a variety of changes in the design and construction of trickling filters. The characteristic of plastic media is larger surface area per volume of packing and higher percentage of void spaces than broken stone that has used since early 20th century. The experimental methods have been practiced using the continuous culture system and the analysis of water quality have been practiced using standard method. The experimental values obtained at these processes were applied to Eckenfelder's equation. From the experimental results, high efficiency of organic removal was obtained above 86.6% when the organic was 0.25㎏ COD/m^3ㆍday. From the experimental data was found at following: When influent COD concentration was 100㎎/ℓ; S_ℓ/ S_o = exp ( -0.0382 A_v.D/Ω^0.54) was 100㎎/ℓ; S_ℓ/ S_o = exp ( -0.00321 A_v.D/Ω^0.51) was 100㎎/ℓ; S_ℓ/ S_o = exp ( -0.00129 A_v.D/Ω^0.55)
