        기후 변화 교육을 위한 국내 웹 자료 분석

        Global climate change becomes one of the most serious environmental problems over the world. There is growing recognition that climate change education, especially for children is important. However, there have been few programmes, curricula, teachers' training chances, and teaching-learning materials for climate change education so far. Therefore, we analyse the world wide web(web) contents in Korea which are available for climate change education, providing fundamental data in developing educational contents for climate change, as well as helping users to search appropriate contents for climate change education. Subjects for this study are 10 web sites of public institutions related to climate change in Korea. The web contents are evaluated in terms of diversity, accuracy, authenticity and the ease of use. The key finding in this study is that the majority of the contents are focused on how to respond to the problem, especially mitigation and also we find that most of the web sites provide text-types of lesson plan and video-types. Consequently, it would be necessary to develop various web contents for climate change education in both quality and quantity aspects.

        생물자원에 대한 초등학생의 인식 조사 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate cognitions of elementary school students of the biological resources. Subjects were 252 elementary school students in Seoul and Busan. An instrument that measures cognitions consists of 3 components: kinds of biological and non-biological resources, values of biological resources and interest of using biological resources. The three components were composed of 46 items. They had less cognition of living things than non-biological resources as resources. But, most of them conceived ecological environment to be resources. Almost 80% elementary school students thought that biological resources had values contributing to the existence and health of human beings, but less economic values except ecological values. They had cognition of biological resources which we should manage and research in. It is time to need the educational approach to integrate nature, economy and environment in environmental education. As concrete cases of biological resources are proposed, it activate elementary school students to get cognition of biological resources. In conclusion, values of biological resources will be materials for environmental education.

        초등 예비교사들의 지속가능 발전에 대한 인식, 태도 및 실천 의지에 대한 조사 연구

        The purpose of this study was to examine the pre-service elementary teachers’ perceptions and attitudes toward sustainable development. Subjects were 152 university students, who were surveyed by questionnaire. The instrument consisted of totally 41 items which were constructed by 3 components; ’the perception of concept of sustainable development’, ’the attitude toward the relationship between economy and environment’ and ’the practical intention of personal change for sustainable lifestyle’. The key findings suggest that most students associate strongly the concepts of sustainable development with their environmental as against economic and social aspect. Most of them incline toward eco-centrism but they had complex attitudes concerning the relationship between economy and environment. They have intention to act for sustainable lifestyle such as purchasing habits, recycling, energy?water saving, forms of transportation, nature conservation and education. However, they prefer to act passively than actively in a certain aspect of sustainable lifestyle. Understanding of pre-service elementary teachers’ perceptions of and attitudes toward sustainable development will be helpful to work out teaching and learning strategies in environmental education.

        미배양 융모막융모세포에서 FISH의 이용

        목적 : 임신초기의 핵형분석이 필요한 미배양 융모막융모세포와 수태산물에서 배양실패로 인해 분석이 곤란한 경우 핵형분석의 보조적 수단으로서의 FISH의 유용성을 확인하고자 한다. 연구방법: 본원을 내원한 산모들 중 융모막융모생검을 통한 염색체검사를 의뢰받은 46례의 환자는 상염색체 이상이 의심되는 환자와 혈우병 등 반성유전 위험성이 있는 환자군으로 나누어 전자는 염색체 21, 18번에 대해 후자는 염색체 X, Y에 대해 FISH를 실시하였고, 유산의 원인을 조사하기 위한 11례의 수태산물에서는 염색체 21, 18, X, Y에 대해 FISH를 실시하였다. 결과의 분석은 Bryndorf 등(1996)의 기준치에 따라 판정하였다. 결과: 상염색의 이상여부를 확인하고자 FISH를 실시한 26례 중 염색체 18번과 21번에 대해 2개의 signal을 나타낸 정확도는 평균 83%와 86%였고, 각 1례의 다운증후군과 에드워드 증후군에서의 정확도는 88%와 91%였으며 핵형분석결과와 일치하였다. 혈우병등 반성유전의 위험성이 있는 환자 20례에서는 염색체 X와 Y에 대한 정확도가 평균 84-88%로 핵형 분석결과와 모두 일치하였다. 수태산물에서 핵형분석이 가능했던 6례의 경우 정상 2례와 에드워드증후군 1례, 1례의 45, X에서 평균 83.0-88.5%의 정확도를 보였으며 핵형분석결과와 일치했고, 배양실패로 인해 FISH만으로 확인한 5례에서는 정상으로 추정되는 4례와 45, X로 추정되는 1례를 관찰할수 있었다. 또한 융모막융모생검에서 직접법에의한 핵형분 석이 용이하지 못하여 FISH로 확인한 후 장기배양법에 의한 염색체검사 결과와 비교한 경우도 7례가 있었다. 결론: 미배양 융모막융모세포에서의 FISH는 배양기간없이 염색체의 수적이상 유무를 관찰할 수 있어 분석실패를 부분적으로나마 극복할 수 있고, 임신초기 검진에 있어서 산모들의 불안감을 다소 줄일 수 있어 핵형분석의 보조적인 방법이 될 수 있으리라 사료된다. Objective: The cytogenetic analysis for earlier detection of fetal chromosome aneuploidies is performed from chorionic villus using either long-term culture or direct chromosome preparation. To analyze the cause of pregnancy loss, we also attempt the cytogenetic study in product of conception(POC) using chorionic villi or fetal tissue. But the failure of analysis often occurs in direct preparation of villus cells and product of conception(POC). We studied to evaluate the clinical usefulness of FISH in uncultured chorionic villus cells of culture-failed cases. Methods: According to the patient's indication, we performed FISH for chromosome 18, 21, X and Y in chorionic villi as well as POC and compared FISH results with their chromosomal studies. Results: We found one trisomy 18 and one trisomy 21 in Chorionic Villus Sampling and one trisomy 18 and one monosomy X(45, X) in POC. The averages for accuracy of FISH were 83-91% and all cases are represented consistent results with their chromosomal studies. Among them, we could analyze using FISH only in 5 cases of culture failure including one case of monosomy X in POC. Conclusion: We could detect aneuploidy with uncultured chorionic villus cells in case of culture failure, using FISH, it may be the potential method to assist the cytogenetic study.
