To understand the identity of sport management programs, it was necessary to examine why undergraduate college students choose their majors and how much they are committed to their majors. This study analyzed the differences of educational motivations and commitments between undergraduate college students majoring in sport management and students majoring in business. With over 300 college students(n=316) participated in this study, the Multivariate Analysis of Variances (MANOVA) was performed to measure differences between groups after ensuring the validity and reliability of the instrument. The results revealed that there were significant differences between groups on (a) social opportunities, (b) intellectual curiosity, (c) normative/expectations, and (d) enjoyment, and (e) affective commitment, while there are no differences on (a) task value, (b) career/financial, (c) self-discovery, and (d) continuous commitment. Specifically, students majoring sport management reported higher scores on social opportunities, enjoyment, and affective commitment, and students majoring business showed greater scores on intellectual curiosity and normative/expectations. Given that there were obvious differences regarding educational motivations and commitments between majors from students’ perspective, this study could contribute to establish the identity of sport management independent of other academic programs and to suggest a good standard in differentiating the unique qualities of a major.
IEC 62056 기반의 전력량계 계량 데이터 계측을 위한 클라이언트 개발

전력량계와의 통신을 지원하기 위한 통신 표준인 IEC 62056 프로토콜을 적용하여 전력량계의 계량 데이터를 실시간으로 계측할 수 있어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 IEC 62056 통신 프로토콜을 분석, 적용하고 실제 전력량계와의 실시간 데이터 계측을 위한 클라이언트 프로그램을 개발하여 적용한 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

최근 들어 전력량계는 기계식에서 반도체 소자를 사용하는 전자식으로 점진적으로 교체되고, 외부 통신 장치와의 데이터 통신 방식에 있어 국제 표준 규격인 IEC 62056올 기반으로 표준화 하고 있다. 그리하여 표준화된 데이터 통신 방식으로 수집된 전력 정보를 취합하고 통합하는 운영 시스템 구축이 대두하게 되었고 사용자 중심의 HMI(Human Machine Interface) 관점에서 다양한 고객의 요구와 분석 자료 그리고 방대한 데이터 관리를 제공하기 위한 편리한 운영자 환경을 제공해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전력량계에서 측정된 전력 정보를 저장하고 운영할 수 있는 시스템 개발에 관하여 연구 하였다.
전통적 미디어 vs. 뉴미디어 : 미디어 유형에 따른 스포츠 경기 시청자의 미디어 접촉 동기 및 시청 만족도, 미디어 충성도의 차이

In the age of multimedia with the advancement of the Internet and cutting-edge equipment, sports fans have increasing opportunities to be in contact with sports media. As the ways of viewing sports became diversified through media, it requires an endeavor for research to increase the understanding of the change because the consumer sentiment about media has also diversified among sports fans. This study aims to compare and analyze the differences depending on media types with regard to the contact motivation of the sports media recipients, viewing satisfaction, and media loyalty to sports media. A total of 349 self-monitored questionnaires were analyzed to test the reliability and validity using SPSS/AMOS 23.0 and descriptive statistics; for comparative analysis, Multivariate Analysis of Variance was also performed. As for the respondents who prefer traditional media (e.g. video and audio media), their scores in social interaction among the subcategories of contact motivation were relatively high. Meanwhile, as for the respondents who prefer new media (e.g. digital media), their scores were relatively high in media loyalty as well as in the following subcategories of contact motivation: information seeking, escapism, time consumption, and vicarious satisfaction. The results of this study confirmed that the media type a consumer chooses can reflect a different media consumer sentiment. In conclusion, it is essential to put more effort to understand various consumer types and to establish strategies accordingly for the development of media sports in the age of multimedia.
