본 연구는 싱가포르의 초등교사 양성기관에서 실시하는 다문화 교육과정 분석을 통해 한국의 다문화 교사교육과정에 주는 시사점을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저, 다문화교육의 개념과 요소, 싱가포르 사회와 교육 특징, 싱가포르 교사 교육기관의 구성과 다문화교육에 대해 파악하였다. 또한 싱가포르 다문화 교사교육을 분석하기 위하여 싱가포르의 NIE가 제공하는 인문/자연계 학사 학위 프로그램에서 초등 일반과 모국어 과정에 제시된 교육과정을 분석하였다. 분석틀은 Banks(2009)의 다섯 가지 내용 체계(내용통합, 지식 구성 과정, 공평한 교수법, 편견 감소, 학생의 역량을 강화하는 학교 문화와 조직)을 기반으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 싱가포르의 예비 교사들은 초등 일반 전공과 모국어 전공에 상관없이 모두 1-3학년 동안 필수 과목인 ‘다문화연구’ (multicultural studies)를 포함하여 매년 다문화 내용 체계가 포함된 수업을 수강하였다. 두 번째, 싱가포르의 다문화 교사양성기관에서 실행하고 있는 다문화교육 관련 수업들은 Banks의 다섯 가지 내용 체계를 모두 포함하고 있었다. 세 번째, 싱가포르의 다문화교육은 문화 및 인종 간 이해 교육뿐만 아니라, 모국어 중심의 이중언어교육을 강조하였다. 분석 결과에 근거하여 한국 교사양성기관에 주는 시사점으로 초등교사 양성과정에서의 다문화교육의 필수 과목 선정과 타 교육학 과목에서도 다문화교육 내용 체계를 포함하는 범 교과성, 이중언어교육의 활성화, 교육현장에서의 다문화 교육과 주지교과와의 내용 통합 그리고 교사를 위한 실용적인 다문화 교육 연수 필요성을 제시하였다. This study aims to find the implications of multicultural teacher education in South Korea by analyzing the multicultural teacher education of the National Institution of Education (NIE) in Singapore. To this end, this paper examined the teacher education system in Singapore and analyzed the multicultural teacher education statistically and content-wise using Bank s five contents of multicultural education. The results indicated that multicultural education in Singapore highlights not only education for racial and cultural understanding, but also bilingual education, which focuses on students mother tongue. Singaporean pre-service teachers can enroll in lectures that contain multicultural context, including the only essential course, multicultural studies, in every academic year regardless of their major. Additionally, the NIE provides multicultural content-related lectures which include all five components of Bank s multicultural contents. Thus, the implications for South Korea s teacher education systems are the following: The designation of multicultural education as an essential course, the invigoration of the bilingual education curriculum at the statal level, the integration of multicultural content with other education subjects in both teacher and student education, and the reinforcement of multicultural education workshops for in-service teachers.

싱가포르 교원의 AI·디지털 역량 지원 정책 동향 및 시사점 탐색

본 연구에서는 싱가포르에서의 AI·디지털 역량 지원 정책과 AI·디지털 역량 제고와 관련한 사례 분석을 통해 한국의 AI·디지털 역량 제고에 제공 가능한 시사점과 정책 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 싱가포르는 2023년 Oxford Insights에서 발표한 ‘정부 AI 준비 지수’에서 2위를 기록했으며, 국가적 AI 플랫폼을 구축한 AI 및 디지털 정책 선진국이므로, 한국의 정책 방향에 참고가 될 수 있다고 판단된다. 본 연구와 관련된 싱가포르의 AI·디지털 역량 교육 정책을 엿볼 수 있는 선행연구는 다양하지 않으며, 이은수 외(2020), 정호진(2021)에서 분석하지 못한 싱가포르 AI․디지털 정책 사례 분석에 집중하였다. 싱가포르의 교육부 발표자료, 싱가포르 학술지, 싱가포르 웹사이트, 싱가포르 언론 등의 문헌을 분석하였다. 한국에서의 AI·디지털 역량 지원 정책 방향을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부 주도의 학습 프로그램 운영 개발은 교원의 AI 및 디지털 역량을 신장시킬 수 있다. 둘째, 교원의 의사를 반영하고 유관기관과 협력하여 AI 및 디지털 역량 프로그램을 개발하여야 한다. 셋째, 체계화된 프로그램을 통한 예비 교사 양성이 필요하다. 넷째, 교사 네트워크를 활성화할 필요가 있다. 다섯째, 학교 환경에서의 인프라 구축이 필요하다. 여섯째, 정책을 단계적, 계획적으로 시행할 필요가 있다. 일곱째, 다양한 주체와의 협력이 필요하다. 싱가포르의 정책 사례는 우리나라의 예비 교사 양성, 현직 교사 연수 등과 관련된 정책 개발, 실행 및 현장 착근과 효과성 제고에 있어서 의미 있는 시사점을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. The purpose of this study is to explore the value of Koryo Theart as a World Cultural Heritage Site by examining the value of Koryo Theart in Kazakhstan as a heritage and analyzing the suitability of listing it as a cultural heritage according to the World Heritage Evaluation Standards. To this end, the concept, type and the standards of world cultural heritage were confirmed. In addition, the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan, which has already been registered, and the criteria for its registration were confirmed. Next, in order to reveal the cultural value of Koryo Theart, the history of Koryo Theart, the relationship between Koryo Theart and Koryoin, and the role of Koryo Theart that continues to this day were examined. In addition, the World Heritage value of Koryo Theart was analyzed based on the criteria for listing cultural heritages similar to Koryo Theart. Considering the historical value of the suppression of minorities and the history of fairy tale policies, starting with the role of the Koryo Theart and the active migration policy, the Koryo Theart has cultural heritage value. The criterion for judgment is “bear a unique or at least exceptional testimony to a cultural tradition or to a civilization which is living or which has disappeared” and “be directly or tangibly associated with events or living traditions, with ideas, or with beliefs, with artistic and literary works of outstanding universal significance.”

Ameloblastoma is the most common aggressive benign odontogenic tumor of the jaws. Because of slow growth and tendency to local invasion of bone and soft tissue, high rates of recurrence are common. The treatment for ameloblastoma is still controversial and poses some special problems in children. Because of growth of the jaw and the different incidence, prognosis of the tumor make the surgical consideration different from adults. Radical resection cause facial deformity, jaw abnormal movement and masticatory disturbance especially to child and adolescents. So conservative treatment as enucleation, curettage is acceptable initial treatment of ameloblastoma in children who can be followed up in a precise, detailed manner. This report describes a case of unilocular plexiform ameloblastoma treated by enucleation and curettage followed by marsupialization.
