In the general direct acting relief valve, the fluid force in the poppet acts in the closing direction of the poppet, and as the flow rate increases, the fluid force acting in the closing direction of the poppet increases, requiring more pressure to open the poppet. As a result, the precision of pressure control is very poor. If the fluid flow is reversed, the fluid force can open the poppet to increase precision. However, there is a disadvantage in that precision is not good enough when one metal coil spring having a constant elastic modulus is used. In order to compensate for this disadvantage, a number of coil springs were envisioned by adding springs to the structure of the fluid force opening the poppet. In addition, Matlab simulation on the multi spring pressure valve shows that the elasticity of the coil spring reduces the difference from the elasticity of the fluid force spring, and increases the precision of pressure control.
