The contamination of photovoltaic (PV) cells reduces the incidence of sunlight and reduces the power generation output of PV cells. The main factor influencing the contamination of PV cells installed outdoors is the fine dust in the air, but the influence of temperature, humidity, rain and wind can be considered. In this paper, experiments on the contamination of PV cells according to the fine dust density, the temperature and humidity of air were investigated. As results of this study, the contamination area of PV cells increases with contamination time and cumulative fine dust density in the air. The contamination of PV cells increases when the temperature is low and the humidity is high. Also, as the contamination of PV cells is affected to the wind, the deviation of contamination area is happened.

In order to prevent automobile accidents internationally, advanced safety devices are actively being developed. Among them, Auto Emergency Brake (AEB) function and Forward Collision Warning (FCW), which are used to prevent or reduce frontal collision, have been studied for a long time, and are being researched by various manufacturers to develop better performance. In fact, in the case of large vehicles, it is mandatory for AEB to be installed in Korea. Accordingly, a variety of Vehicles equipped with AEB and FCW are coming out, and inspection of these mounting devices is a necessary system in the future. This study confirms how AEB and FCW are currently assessed in regulation and the New Car Assesment Program (NCAP), This is a basic study of the matters to be considered in preparing AEB and FCW inspection standard by checking the performance of vehicles equipped with forward collision protection and identifying the vehicle's sensitivity, range and speed of radar sensors, and target vehicles based on CAN communication data.

Recently, in several advanced countries, the governments have been supplementing laws and systems related to automobile repair in preparation for the spread of eco-friendly and self-driving cars. However, the domestic automobile repair industry is still stagnant compared to a decade ago. In this study, we looked at the current status of automobile repair institutions in the United States, Germany, and Japan, which are advanced countries in the automobile repair industry. And then by analyzing the institutions in those countries, we checked the problems of the domestic automobile repair institution and discussed ways to improve it. As a result, the U.S. system of specialized repair business, Germany’s training system of Vehicle Technician Meister personnel, and Japan’s recognition system for high-quality repair business were deemed worthy of consideration in Korea. Further research should be conducted in the future to analyze the effectiveness of the introduction of the system in various ways and to review its applicability.

Advanced device-equipped Vehicles are actively developed and legislation is underway around the world. As a result, Automobile manufacturers and others aim to continue research on high-tech devices and develop high-performance devices. These state-of-the-art vehicles are the most basic devices of autonomous vehicles. The automobile industry is progressing very quickly, but the number of malfunctions in high-tech devices is also increasing. In particular, in the case of Autonomous Emergency Braking(AEB), it is essential to lead to an Accident when a malfunction occurs. Typical high-tech devices include camera sensors and radar sensors. Both sensors are connected and operated, but radar sensors are mainly longitudinal and camera sensors are mainly lateral. Accordingly, this study analyzes AEB devices that can cause accidents when malfunctioning, it deliberately malfunctions the highly relevant radar sensor to determine to what extent the radar sensor’s performance persists. We want to analyze the risk of malfunction and the limitations of radar sensors through comparative analysis with existing automobile manufacturing standards and CAN data.
운행 경유자동차의 과급기 장착유무에 따른 매연 검사기준 개선방안 연구

Currently, emission inspections of operating vehicles are regularly conducted to improve the air environment. In particular, diesel vehicles are inspected by measuring smoke in free acceleration smoke test procedure through a smoke meter. In addition, if a turbocharger is equipped, the emission standard is relaxed in free acceleration smoke test procedure inspection. However, most currently vehicles are equipped with turbocharger so the standard is not effective. In addition, it is difficult to identify failure of the diesel particulate filter during the inspection. In this study, analyzed the feasibility of abolishing the emission standard according to the turbocharger equipped status based on the inspection data of domestic diesel vehicles. As a result, the smoke emission average increased by 3% according to the equipped of the turbocharger. However, emission standard application errors were found at the level of 20%. In addition, it is not effective because all vehicles manufactured after 2004 are equipped with turbocharger. and it is difficult to check the failure of diesel particulate filter during the inspection. Therefore, it is considered reasonable to abolish the relaxation of the emission standard of diesel vehicles in free acceleration smoke test procedure.
