As the density and height of the buildings nearby subway lines get higher, the unprecedented residents' appeals for noise are on the rise. Furthermore, in accordance with the revision of enforcement regulations on the Noise and Vibration Control Act, the night time noise standards have been reinforced by 5dB effective on January 1st 2010 and the appropriate measures shall be taken accordingly. For the settlement of the public grievances against noise and vibration generated on tracks in at-grade and elevated section, the installation of continuously-welded-rail, rail lubrication system, improved fastening system and higher noise barrier is currently executed. Nevertheless, the noise and vibration levels in some areas are still exceeding the limits required in the regulation. Among the measures, an installation of higher noise barrier or noise tunnel seems to be the most effective way; however, it has limitations owing to the structural stability of existing elevated structures. The paper in consideration of the local conditions and foreign practices discusses the installation of fairing system under the train body as an noise insulation panel in order to reduce the rolling noise and under-carriage noise. Based on the result of this study, a performance verification test during actual train operation is in progress for further study.

This study aims to find the cause of temporary work accidents and suggests a improvement plan for the prevention of accidents in temporary works. For this purpose the following research methods were used: statistical analysis of construction accidents, questionnaire survey, and a case study. As conclusions, causes of temporary work accidents were showed and a improvement plan for the prevention of the accidents in temporary works was suggested for the 2 groups: (1) temporary material manufactures, lease and sales companies, (2) construction companies which use those temporary materials.

The purpose of this study was to Identification the Risk of construction method to protect and reduce the risk of construction period. The inspection list usually has the difference of importance because this list is not made by Method which is not focused on Method. We tested Risk occurring frequency and it"s strength by checking the level of Risk To solve and compensate the matter which happened by changing the each Method Check List to each General Inspection List, we added the each Method Check List by checking the importance of check list of each process. By doing this, the Check List for finding Risk level of Method was created by using the check list of each Method.
운영자입장에서 본 전력 SCADA시스템 변화에 따른 분석

The OCC of Seoul Metro whose operation began in 1974 is in charge of conveying 4,000,000 passengers across 117 subway stations in travel zones of 134.9㎞ in length. It continues to strive to ensure passenger safety by applying state-of-the-art-technology to each control system without delay. The power control center especially designed to provide power system operations for all stations of Seoul Metro(Line 1 to 4) and the rolling stocks implements preventive safety systems with the real time power system operational information on changes in conditions from the field through the power SCADA system(41 substations, 117 stations, 137 terminal units). This paper reports the differences of each line"s power SCADA system(power SCADA systems of Seoul Metro(Line 1 to 4)), the roles and functions of the system, and the system operating characteristics and limits from the standpoint of the operator.

In the past, The selection of individual method of construction was done by head of construction site or an experienced person very frequently. By doing this, The wrong selection of construction method without exact adjudication of construction site situation lead to increasing of cost and extension of construction term. Finally it will effect all over the construction process. Especially, In case of underground construction in the beginning, there are a lot of a variable factor and it also effect on the entire construction process and it need very careful process. The purpose of this study is to select the most suitable construction method by analysing potential conditions(construction site situation and client request in designing) To do this, We prepared arrangement rule to arrange the conditions for construction method. And then make checklist of the analyzing construction method.
철도차량의 운행 중 소음 저감을 위한 휠업소버의 해석 및 실험적 고찰

The noise to be considered as the most important in railway systems is the noise generated from the wheel/rail interaction. Such noise can be divided into three categories; that is, the rolling noise, the squeal noise and the wheel howling noise. Especially in metro systems, this type of noise has been considered seriously in recent years, and the diversified studies on the mechanism and solutions of such noise are in progress by many railways and researching bodies. In this study, a specially designed wheel absorber is installed in the wheel, and FEM analysis and laboratory tests are executed for the two cases, i.e. with wheel absorber and without wheel absorber, to check the effect of the wheel absorber in noise reduction. For the FEM analysis, the frequency response functions for respective cases are compared. And, for the laboratory test, following four cases are tested and compared; that is, i) with wheel only, ii) installation of ring damper only, iii) installation of damping material and cover, iv) installation of complete absorber system.
