인터넷을 활용한 학부모참여 : 중학교 국사 교과학습을 중심으로

It is generally accepted among education specialists that parental involvement in school education is very important. But due to lack of effective and realistic ways to implementing it, parents have hardly had chance to participate in their children's classroom activities. This study aims to prove that by using the Internet, parents' participation in classroom works is not only possible even in the Middle School, but also effective for the improvement of students' behaviors at classroom and their achievement in learning. This study was conducted in Korean History class in the Middle School with one hundred and thirty-three students and their parents for five weeks. On the basis of two surveys this study finds out the followings. Many parents (84% of the respondents) showed much interest in Korean History class and promised to participate in classroom activities in the Internet such as visiting the class homepage. But much less parents (only 38% of the respondents) actually visited the homepage. The survey also shows that most of the parents (75% of the respondents) talked about these activities on the Internet with their children, and knew what was going on in the classroom. This indicates that parental involvement in classroom activities has good potential of being an effective and realistic alternative to bring about a positive change for Middle School students' learning. 학교교육에의 학부모참여는 학생들의 학업성취와 행동개선에 효과적이라고 인식되고 있다. 학부모참여 활동 가운데 특히 교과학습활동에의 참여는 학생들의 학업성취와 직접 관계된다. 그럼에도 불구하고 중학생의 경우 현실적으로 학부모들이 자녀의 교과학습에 대하여 구체적으로 알 수 있는 방법이나 기회는 매우 제한적이다. 인터넷을 교과 교수·학습활동의 도구로 활용함으로써, 학교와 가정을 연결하며 교사·학생·학부모가 보다 바람직한 교육활동을 전개할 수 있지 않을까? 이에 본 연구는 5주에 걸쳐 인터넷을 활용한 국사 교과 교수·학습활동을 전개하고, 그 전과 후 2차에 걸쳐 학생·학부모 각각을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 이를 분석하여 인터넷을 활용한 국사 교과 교수·학습활동이 실제로 중학교 교과학습에의 학부모참여 방안으로 활용될 수 있는지, 이러한 학부모의 참여는 학생의 학습과 태도에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보았다.

슬개골전 점액낭염의 관절경적 치료 - 경피적 연차봉합술 3례 보고 -

The authors introduce an operative technique which is simple and effective for the treatment of the large prepatellar bursitis, avoiding problems by the conventional open technique such as tender scar, infection and recurrence. We treated three cases of the large refractory prepatellar bursitis caused by acute direct trauma. Bursectomies were performed by using an arthroscope and percutaneous multiple sutures were applied to the overlying skin with mattress fashion. There were no complications after treatment over one year follow-up. We suggest that this technique is very useful, greatly minimizes the chance of recurrence and reduces the possibility of post-operative infection. 급성 외상에 의해 발생한 슬개골전 점액낭염 중 그 크기가 거대하고 보존적 요법에 반응하지 않는 3례에 대하여 관절경을 통해 점액낭을 절제하고 경피적 다발성 연차봉합을 시행한 바, 그 술기를 소개하고 1년이상 추시상 모든예에서 합병증이나 재발없이 만족할 만한 결과를 얻었기에 그 증례를 보고하고자 한다. 본 술기는 통상적인 절개방법에서의 피부 반흔에 따른 문제와 감염 및 재발 등의 합병증을 최소화하기 위한 보완적 술기로 고안되었으며 얇고 손상받기 쉬운 피부를 보호할 수 있는 장점이 있고 점액낭이 제거된 공간에 부가적인 연차봉합을 통해 사강(dead space)을 배제하고 분리된 조직간의 견고한 접촉을 유지해 줌 으로써 술후 조기 운동을 가능케하고 재발의 가능성을 줄일 수 있어 선택적으로 적용할만한 유용한 술기라 사료된다.

경골 간부와 근위부의 분절 및 분쇄 골절의 Retrograde Ender 정을 이용한 치료

Purpose: To present the result of retrograde Ender pinning technique for treatment of comminuted segmental fracture of the proximal tibial shaft. Materials and Methods: From 1994 to 1998, we treated twenty-one cases of the comminuted segmental proximal tibial shaft fracture with the retrograde Ender pinning technique. We have followed up the clinical results. Results: The clinical bone union time was average eleven weeks, and the radiologic bone union time was average nineteen weeks. Conclusion: In the treatment of comminuted segmental proximal tibial shaft fracture, the retrograde Ender pinning technique is useful. The method improves fixation of the proximal fragment, is simple and effective, provides good fixation of the tibia in patients in whom stabilization of several fractures is required, and can be used for fixation of tibial shaft fracture with soft tissue damage.
