        The purpose of this study is to investigate the student's understanding and their opinions on the educational affairs management and curriculum of social studies course in graduate school of education in Gysongnam province in Korea. For solving the research problems as above, the method of questionnaires is applied. The results of this study are divided in dimensions: understanding of the function of the graduate school of education, understanding the bachelor management, and understanding the degree and the acquisition of the certifications. Students in these questionnaires thought, in general, that the present teaching methods and directions of the graduate school of education are suitable for it as an organization which awards a master's degree. They also insisted the graduate school of education should perform the role of the reeducation. On the other hand, they indicated various characteristics of consumers, the lack of full-time professors and the curriculum that too much focused on contents of each subjects as the three problems of the graduate school of education. On the curriculum of the graduate school of education, they thought many various subject matters should be developed and ,in turn, they could get more opportunities to choose their favorite subject matters. Specifically, on the subjects of students' major, they hoped their subject matters should be deepened and supplemented as following order; the subject pedagogy, law, sociology, and politics. On the educational affairs management of the graduate school of education, they preferred the night schooling system more than the seasonal schooling system. In night schooling, they preferred evening time during the weekday as their the teaching hours than afternoon of Saturday. And they have positive attitudes on the credit system, completed credits, the term of study. On the articles and summative tests for their degree, they hoped these articles or summative tests would be substituted as the credit of their major subject matters or any form as the study report, considering their circumstances and conveniences. I have some advices for improving the quality of the graduate school of education. First, the curriculum of social studies of education should be organized according to students' needs. Second, the curriculum should be splitted as two ways; one for teachers in schools and another one for students who is not a teacher. Third, the condition for a degree should be managed flexibly, reflecting students' needs. Fourth, to make a better education environment, graduate students should join the class more actively.
